I was downtown for licensing and after decided to try bada Bing it's been a while since I have been here. Clientele were friendly bartender (jenny) was excellent she steered me the right way with the Chicken finger sub it's a special on Thursday. It was good and a must try. Deep fried chicken with lettuce tomato and wing sauce. Fries were crispy and decent sized. Food all preparedness was done well. After a show at Shea's, this is a decent place to pick for a bite to eat within walking distance from the theatre . We were able to be seated upstairs without a reservation . Kept it casual with 2 Coke's, a spaghetti parm and a roast beef sandwich with au jus accompanied with potato wedges . The prices are a bit higher than normal for this type of cuisine , but then we understood why ... the portions were quite generous . That didn't stop my father from finishing his spaghetti , he stated he preferred Chef's parm, but this was pretty good . I like my beef to be more pink than how it was served , but it was still flavorful with the au jus . Those potato wedges were a great choice of a side , I would definitely get them again . This was my 1st dining experience in Buffalo and was recommended by locals for the best chicken wings. It wasn't walking distance from the hotel on the famous Chippewa Street that is filled with tons of restaurant and bar choices but I wasn't deterred. We ordered the wings mild and I was surprised that they just came out like fried chicken with no sauce. So I asked for the buffalo sauce on the side. The wings were cooked perfectly in the sauce added a nice kick. On half of the order we got the garlic parmesan. It was a bit too heavy on the garlic, but still were really nice. We also ordered their famous stuffed banana peppers. I guess this is a local thing in Buffalo so we had to try it. Nice cream cheese filling and it had a little bit of a kick to it because of the pepper. I would give Bada Bings five stars except that they didn't have a selection of any dark beers on tap or in bottle. I did recommend this place to everyone I talked to at the hotel. read more

This was our first time here. As soon as I walked in the door, the smell of homemade sauce, meatballs and pizza brought me back in time to my Papa's house. I could not wait to eat.We sat at the bar. The bartender was great. She was friendly and provided awesome service. The menu had a variety of options. We decided to get pizza, wings and I had to try the meatball sandwich. Everything came out fresh and hot. The pizza was delicious, the right amount of sauce, pepperoni and tons of gooey cheese. The dough is always key. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Not chewy at all. I can't stand chewy dough. This was perfect. The wings were so good. We ordered Hot wings. The sauce was great and they didn't skimp on the sauce. The wings were crispy. The meatball sandwich was small and didn't have enough sauce on it so I had to get more on the side to add which wasn't a problem and understandable if they didn't want the bread to get soggy. Me personally I love extra sauce. The Meatballs were really good. They were authentic homemade meatballs. The bread was fresh and I believe had grated parmigiana on it. Yum The place was cool. Do not go here first of all the bartender was pathetic lame and there's a few other bad descriptions. I can give her, but she wasn't worthy of any good review. I still gave her a six dollar tip for me and my wife. We had a glass of wine and a burger. The burger wasl unable it was burnt. We asked for mustard and she brought us two small mustard packets. So I ask her again for more mustard for our burgers and she brought us two more small mustard packets. You would have to put a lot of mustard on that burger to make it worth eating. She was rude to us and she did not wait on us. Accordingly was too busy visiting with friends. I still tipped her six dollars which I should not have done she's worthy of zero dollars. She's not even worthy of a job there. You should immediately delete her from your team. Find somebody who's willing to work. She is unacceptable and I will never go back there again. It was recommended by the holiday Inn. Never ever again. Terrible service and terrible food. You stole 55 bucks of my money I will not entertain that again. A few years back I went to the Meatball Street Brawl and sampled more meatballs than I should have tried to eat in one afternoon. The point of mentioning that is, the meatball from Bada Bing was one of my favorites taking in consideration both the meatball itself and the sauce it was served in. I'm pretty picky with sauce and meatballs because I've been making my own since I was a kid, taught by my little Italian grandma, may she rest in peace. So I was eager to check this place out for more Italian food. But it's downtown on Chippewa St. which is an area I really don't visit ever. Back in my heyday I had a friend that liked bar hopping on the Chip Strip. At some point in the evening, we'd end up at Bada Bing for slices. But that was over a decade ago and they have since moved to a new location down the street. So I can't speak to the atmosphere or service. But with everything being shut down except for takeout or delivery, I figured now was the time to order myself some Bada Bing. I ordered the Stuffed Eggplant Parm and a side of meatballs and it made for a fantastic dinner and lunch the next day. That main dish there is Eggplant Parm layered with a ricotta blend with house-made red sauce and melted mozzarella. Both the meatballs and the dish came with sides of garlic bread so there was plenty of that too. There may be fancier places for Italian that are very good, nice places to dine, but Bada Bing has the red sauce that is the closest to our family's sauce and that tastes like amore to me! EDIT: After writing this last night I decided to order from here one more time before I start a new fitness program. So I just want to add that their chicken cutlets and cannoli are fantastic as well. read more

Never thought I would be so impressed by Bada Bing's sandwiches, I finally tried out their Antonio Bing sandwich. I came across their sando's on Instagram and really wanted to see what is the so great about it, OMG I must say if you haven't yet definitely try it out I couldn't stop licking my fingers after eating it so delicious. Antonio Bing- a chicken cutlet with grilled provolone and stuffed hot pepper served on a fresh seeded garlic roll! This was a delicious sandwich, it came with fries and pickle. The fries were fresh like the sandwich and everything came hot so good, I'm so glad I tried out their sandwiches out during this Covid-19 situation, and it's a great idea to support local and try out amazing specialties across Buffalo! A little convenient, but not the end of the world. We were told the salad would come with "house dressing" which is apparently a packet of Ken's dressing. Maybe don't advertise "house dressing". And then the worst: their "canolis". Instead of a canoli, I got two, cheap sugar cones with a glop of canoli frosting in them and a light drizzle of chocolate sauce (see photo). This cost $13! Came here with a few friends from out of town a month or so ago, they have an interesting menu. If your a vegan or vegetarian there aren't many things to choose from. Our waitress wasn't very knowledgeable about the menu and any question she told us the kitchen was unsure too. Struck us odd, working in a restaurant you should know everything of what your selling - our vegetarian works in the industry so wasn't happy staff didn't know about their menu. My husband and I were driving to Niagara Falls and decided to stop in Buffalo for dinner. We couldn't go to the restaurant we wanted to because many locations in the area were closed. So we decided to stop in at the only place that was open in the area we parked. We were seated right away and then the waitress attempted to take our order right away. We told her we needed a few minutes and she didn't return for over 15 minutes. I ordered a pomegranate mule and it was incredibly watered down and had very little flavor. We ordered chicken wings "Italian style" which I didn't know what that meant and when I asked her the waitress looked confused and then just repeated that It was Italian style and I repeated that I didn't know what that meant... she then asked me if I wanted her to find out... well yes? I did want her to tell me what the menu item was.... it turns out it was dry rubbed Italian seasoning and parm cheese... the wings were crunchy and hot pretty average but good. My husband got a hamburger and wedge fries and I got the chicken Parmesan plate. I ordered a second drink, the house Pinot noir, it took our server 3 times to get the wine order placed coming back and asking me several times to repeat what I ordered.... she had even written it down the first time and I guess lost it? The burger was average but the potato wedges were very good and crispy. The chicken parmigiana was gross, the chicken was soggy, the sauce that was marked as house made was overly sweet and tasted like it came out of a jar or can... the cheese was hot and good quality but it didn't make up for the bad sauce or that the pasta and garlic bread were cold... I ate a few bites and then pushed it to the edge. I couldn't flag down our waitress because she was doing shots with a customer and a few other servers and someone who looked like they were a manager? Not a great look... She came over and asked me how it was I told her I didn't like it and she asked why I decided I didn't want to be rude and just said it was cold and I didn't like the taste instead of telling her every detail. We order Bada Bings regularly through Uber Eats. I have tried burgers and sandwiches and they have all been delicious. My husband loves their potato wedges. On one occasion our Uber Eats driver had 2 orders from Bada Bing and delivered our order to another client. We called Bada Bing and although it wasn't their mistake they remade our order and we picked it up. They went above and beyond in a frustrating situation. Amazing customer service. This was during hockey playoffs with no NY teams left in, my relatives were visiting from Canada. Toronto still had a shot, all about Saturday night around 9pm. There were still a few empty tables when the host let us know if we weren't ordering food we'd have to give up our table, despite having ordered a bunch of drinks already and assured them we'd order food.
