A friend recommended this spot for solid bar food, and I was especially tempted by the fried dill pickle spears. It was a hot weekday evening, and the bar wasn't too busy, just a few regulars holding down their usual spots. The bartender came over right away, introduced herself, and asked for my name, which she used throughout my visit--a nice personal touch. I ordered the Stormin' Norman sandwich to go with the pickles. The fried pickle spears came out first, fresh from the fryer. Once they cooled a bit, they were everything I hoped for: crispy on the outside, juicy inside, with a great dipping sauce. A pickle lover's dream. The sandwich was also a hit, hearty and flavorful. The only letdown was the side of chips, which were stale, but I hadn't planned on eating them, so it didn't bother me much. The bartender checked in regularly and kept the drinks coming without hovering. Attentive service, good food, and a relaxed atmosphere. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in town. read more

Looks a little sketchy at first but don't let that scare you off. The staff was super friendly. One guy that I thought was a customer at first stopped by the table and kind of gruffly asked if everything was alright, I think he was actually a manager or something. But he ended up being cool. The food was great. They have a Buffalo special that is a beef on weck and 5 wings. It was the perfect combo and just the right amount of food. The horseradish that came with the beef on weck was intense so go easy if your sensitive to that. Hot wing sauce was good but could have been hotter. We also tried the Bradford style wings. I don't know who Bradford was but he made a good wing. Deep fried with buffalo sauce then crisped up on a grill then Parmesan cheese loaded on top. They were delicious. read more

Hey friends, and I stepped in there for lunch didn't not expect the food that we got the food was delicious. I had the meatball bomber excellent taste sauce was delicious. My friend had a chicken Caesar salad said everything was fresh. The chicken was done perfectly. We also split a chicken wonton in that sauce they make with it. The chili lime sauce was remarkable and my other friend got the beef on whack said there was enough beef on it to make two sandwiches. The service was phenomenal. The place was clean. I wouldn't normally leave a review, but our experience was so disappointing. Not just the food, but the service too. We ordered the fried ravioli as an appetizer and were not what we expected. It was pan fried and tougher than shoe leather. It was almost impossible to cut it with a knife let alone chew. The Pittsburgh salad was pathetic too. Wilted lettuce, soft tomatoes, maybe a half piece of over cooked chicken and about 5 French fries. I honestly thought it was a joke. The service was slow. If I could give it ten stars, I would! I came to Buffalo, NY, from Los Angeles, California, for work and visited this establishment, which blew me away. I had the pleasure of meeting Jackie and Joe two nights ago, and their hospitality was amazing. They made my wife and me feel like we were part of the local community. I tried their medium sauce wings, and they were terrific! The experience was so fantastic that I returned the next day and met Jailyin (I hope I spelled it correctly). She has worked there for eight years and welcomed me with open arms. This time, I tried the hot sauce wings, and they were fantastic! Went for Girls Night out and I now want to go out every night here! The place is a vibe especially during the Sabres game!!! We started off with fried picked and chicken nachos for appetizers. The fried pickles were fried to perfection and juicy on the inside. The nachos could feed a small army. Tender chicken, salsa, jalapeños, sour cream were just perfect on top a bed of crispy tortilla chips. Honestly, we didn't need entrees BUT I AM SO HAPPY I DID!!! I ordered a double order of hot wings and they were expertly fried to a perfect crisp and so saucy! I'm not a beer drinker BUT I took a sip of the Blueberry one and it was so good! Went on Saturday wanted to sit outside on one of the 3 tables available so went in to tell someone we wanted to order food and drinks! Had trouble getting the barmaids attention then tried one of the waitresses final asked the bartender to send over a waitress outside after a long wait someone said they will send someone was ready to get a drink at the bar because nobody came somebody said someone was coming waited again finally got someone to get us a drink when she came back she said she was leaving and the next shift would get our food order!! Oh no we were here for 35 minutes already so convinced her to but in our small order of roast beef and onion rings! By the time the food came we needed a drink was going to the bar and the food came so the in-between waiting was enough so we asked for the drinks,check and to go container so we wouldn't wait again! It was between shifts and the service wasn't great my 2 drinks were made different one was better tasting with cherries for garnish and the second different had hardly any liquor taste and no garnish I know different bartenders. My daughter thought she was getting a full order of onion rings but got it as a side which she didn't see on the menu but preferred it better. The roast beef said piled high! On a post from June 5th on Facebook it did looked piled high but not hers she had 3 slices of roast beef folded on a small hard crusty roll I know things happen I'm going to try the one on transit next time read more

It was close, it was game day (Bills on the road), and I needed food and NFL on multiple TV's. Sidelines had all the TV's going but remember your in Bills town so if you need to see another game better get there early and ask nicely. Bar had a local radio station there giving out goodies and drinks were well done. My bartender was always working the bar and kept us all happy. Food is average at best but it's a sports bar not a food emporium so buyer beware. Wings are good and chilli is good. I was there for sport and drink so it was good for what I needed. Alert!! So this is a second hand review. I am not personally eating this someone else is. She is very unhappy. She said it is extremely salty. She ordered a turkey bacon burger with cranberry mayo. The cranberry mayo was absent. The burger began falling apart when she picked the sandwich up. She tasted a bite and her face cringed. She said the burger is saltier than the bacon. The bacon however was pretty good. She enjoyed the flavor although she likes it crispier. The funny part is there is no salt on the fries. The turkey burger taste like a manufactured burger she says. It looks homemade to me but I didn't taste it. The carmelized onions were okay as well. The lettuce were fresh and the tomato was soft but not mushy just soft. Upon spending a chunk of money at the ToB and still being hungry, we were shocked to see how much cheaper the prices were. With the place being so busy, I was also appreciative with how attentive the wait staff was. The beer was exceptionally cheap, with a 22 oz of Miller Lite costing about $3.50, whereas an IPA was roughly $8. Our order of wings came out quickly and also included an extra wing.
