So as I was leaving my fave metaphysical store, I walked passed Baddeley's on a Sunday. I was super stoked they had my fave tequila which many five star restaurants don't. Avion! Stephanie was super friendly, and attentive my very first time being a customer. That was almost 8 months ago. We went to Baddeley's for the Super Bowl last Sunday....Got there a little early, they had Jamison shirts out, headbands, tank tops, all kinds of fun free gifts! When the Super Bowl started here comes a bunch of delicious food , swirled rye cornbeef sammys, hot wings... Etc. can't remember what else but I do remember the crowd ,the staff , and it was a class act! They had a raffle,giving out all kinds of goodies throughout the game , everybody was enjoying and there were zero a**holes at the bar i'm not going to a house party next year I'll be going here!! read more

Baddeley's ain't too bad. The drinks aren't quite as stiff as the days when this was Club Broadway, but they're just as cheap and the service is a smidge friendlier. Sounds like they've got a decent enough happy hour. They've surprisingly have one of those boards where you can see when people are live tweeting about the bar. Sure, it's very much a fad sort of thing, but fun for novelty. Add some pool to the mix and I'm a happy camper. Here's what I really like about Baddeley's though - it's a nice little addition to one of the only places in LB where you can actually barhop. Four stars! read more

I like the fact that this place looks way better than the Broadway Club that used to be there. It feels roomier and way more open. But I only come here when I don't feel like smelling like a fried chimichanga as I do when I go to the Reno Room. The popcorn machine is awesome. This place definitely upgraded looks-wise from the old Club Broadway bar it used to be. However, It seems we only stumble to this place when all the pool tables are taken from the Reno Room and 36/36. It's not a bad place, but somehow I don't feel as relaxed or easy going here. The bartenders are good and there's a jukebox but I never bother to put money in because there's always tons requests already in there and I don't usually stay long enough for my songs to be heard anyway. So just to sum it up, its not my first or second choice of bars to hit when I want to catch a buzz in my neighborhood. read more

This is one of the best bars in Long Beach! It doesn't hurt that it's walking distance from our apt, but it's worth a drive (or bike ride or taxi; safety first, people!) for the great prices and friendly staff. $2 pbrs all day every day and great drink specials. Nice cozy little bar with a pool table. They have a popcorn machine that serves popcorn at the lovely rate of $free.99!! The bartenders and staff are mad cool. I love coming in to watch sports. Never too difficult finding a seat or wall to post up on. Everyone else that comes is pretty chill too. But 1 less star because the last few times I've come, there's always some douche who has the app to the jukebox and manages to be the DJ for the night. Cool, if I wanted to get my dance party on! Also an ex-Club Broadwayer, so time to dust off the review for this place. I hadn't been here in a few months, so when my friend called me up and said, "Hey, the bar across the street got redone," I just had to go back. I did love the ambience of Club Broadway, but Baddeley's has really done something with the place. It looks cleaner, much more open, and a lot nicer in general. And they added that sweet ass jukebox! The few times I've been in here since it was redone, I enjoyed myself just like the old times. The bartenders I've met (Jaqueline and the curvy blonde, can't remember her name...) were both awesome. They poured a good drink and were super friendly. Prices are average for a dive. The only reason Baddeley's loses a star is because we sometimes get nasty looks from the gay clientele. Come on now, I could care less about your orientation, so don't shoot me the dagger eyes over mine! read more

Came here last night and had so much fun we ended up shutting it down! The vibe is perfect!! Every single human in this place was nice! No douchebaggery happening, and no one was "too cool" to show that they were also having a great time! Derf was behind the bar making delicious beverages and keeping everyone hydrated. OK, to be honest, I would have given it 4 stars, however I was so annoyed seeing Richard below give it 1 star without a single visit. So I wanted to balance out the average a little Who cares about the prices of yester year? Are you writing bad reviews about gas stations too? Reminiscing over the days of 99 cent gas? Live in the now my friend, and stop giving businesses poor reviews without even visiting. Jerk... Anyhoo, this place is great. Good alternative to the college crowd scene on 2nd St. Clean, great staff, and a kick ass juke box that takes credit cards when I have pilfered all of my boyfriend's $1s.
