Good food overall but portions are too small to share and prices high. We asked if sharing was an option and was told yes and approximately how much food to expect and was sorely disappointed. This place is absolutely amazing! Definitely earned its title of best breakfast place in the Teton Valley. The hash was delicious, the sausage links were the best I've ever had at a restaurant, and the chimichurri ties everything together. Server was nice and professional. Place wasn't too noisy, I could read a book while eating breakfast. They did have issues in the bathroom. Soap dispenser is just broken fully, the lock is difficult to close. read more

We all enjoyed our food and the atmosphere here. The service was a tad slow but maybe we just felt crunched for time because we were headed to the airport afterwards. It's worth mentioning that we were here for lunch, so I can't speak for the breakfast! The rodeo burger was uniquely delicious with an onion ring on it. The chicken and waffles tasted fresh and crunchy, and the Idaho fries were equally hot and fresh. Unfortunately they were out of the beer we wanted to try, but not that big of deal. At a small town in Idaho, there's a brunch place that is as good as the best brunch places in NYC. There's a lot to love about this place. It's unpretentious on the outside with wooden interior decor that was cozy. We got the fried chicken and waffles, and two different types of egg Benedict. If you're traveling through the area, go out of your way for this place. It seriously is worth it! My husband and I were driving through on our way back from Yellowstone, and ordered to-go so we could eat in our RV. His chicken and waffles were great, but my chicken-fried-steak was absolutely the best I've ever had!!! They were also super accommodating and allowed me to swap the high-carb sides for my steak out for a salad. the greens were fresh, the tomatoes crisp, ripe and juicy, the cucumbers sweet and perfect. On our way to Grand Teton we stopped by Badger Creek cafe and we were pleasantly surprised. This is a smaller cafe and has a really local feel. We had the big bad badger which was huge! It was made with a homemade biscuit, fried chicken and eggs. The biscuit and chicken were super good! The biscuit was slightly done for my liking I usually like them a little less crunchy but my husband loved it and the inside was soft. We also had the eggs Benedict which were tasty as well, but again the English muffin was a little crispy for me. It was overall really good home cooked food. We we went here on friends' recommendations. We liked it so much we went back a second time a week later and loved, loved, loved our breakfast here. Stayed in Tetonia for a wedding and walked to the cafe for breakfast. Our waitress was very sweet and friendly, she gave us ideas on adventures and shopping to explore around the area. The menu is simple, but with delicious choices, l of course had the eggs Benedict with house fries (American fries with carmelized onions!) , it was delicious and my boyfriend had the sausage gravy and biscuits with fluffy crispy homemade biscuits and tasty gravy! We went back for breakfast and had the b breakfast burrito, I added the pork and glad I did!! My friend chose the corn beef hash with eggs. I would've loved to try the lunch menu but were limited on time. It is only open from 8am/4 for breakfast and lunch! Oh yeah! We bought a s'more granola bar for later from the little pastry case up front, popped it in the microwave for a few seconds to melt the chocolate and marshmallow.... Soooo good! read more

Badger Creek Cafe is just what this small community needs. The owners, Johnny and Elyse, are warm and welcoming, and the cafe has a homey, small town feel. You'll find tourists and farmers, church-goers and river-rats sitting amongst each other. Everyone is welcome and it's the excellent food that draws them in from near and far. My first breakfast at Badger Creek Cafe was great. I had the Classic Eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was sooo good. The next morning I had the Fried Chicken and Waffles...it was so good, I've been craving it since. Johnny brines his fried chicken, so it has a ton of flavor and is incredibly tender and moist. The cornmeal Waffles were the perfect accompaniment to the salty and crunchy chicken. In conclusion, next time you're in Teton Valley, make sure you stop into Badger Creek Cafe. My husband got a traditional eggs Benedict. It was the best eggs Benedict that he has ever had. It came with potatoes cake that was very delicious! My fried chicken and waffles was so so good. Our family stopped on way to Jackson Hole from Yellowstone (primarily because the kids had to pee ). It blew our expectations out of the water. The ambiance, musics and service were all great but it was the food that totally shined! I had a Reuben, my wife falafel, my daughter fried chicken and my son the turkey club. The two owners brought big city experience to our little town and now the restaurant is a staple in our community. They do their own baking and bring consistently solid and delicious food.
