As a new home owner, I have had a recurring nightmare about breakdowns of major home systems, especially roof, plumbing and electrical. My fear is, no matter how much I save while I recover from my purchase, it still won't ever be enough. I received a Home Warranty as a "gift" ("Is it ever, really?" he says will an embarrassing level of cynicism. Lol). In my first year in this home, I have had occasion to use the warranty twice: air conditioner and, more recently, plumbing. TWO plumbers have been here over the past month. The 1st came 3 times and still didn't fix the problem which had every point of my water system back up. My laundry room was underwater at one point. The City got involved and were VERY helpful and gave me amazingly educational info about how my system ties into their water sytem. They did a dye test from my toilets to show me where the problem lies. It was clearly on this end. I literally almost came to blows with the 1st plumber, "TNT" in Charlotte whose owner's name is Garland. He was rude, dismissive (told me to "shut up and go in the house") and utterly FAILED to fix the problem. Subsequently, three weeks later, the warranty company sent out a 2nd company without a service fee. "RELIABLE PLUMBING" was just that, reliable. They were here 5 hours, well into the darkness, changed out 2 sets of equipment and rootered down almost 100 feet to just before the street. They were polite, professional and -most importantly- FIXED the problem! My bill: $0!!!! Shouts out to Jason Hancock, owner of Reliable Plumbing. He is young, hungry and holds great promise for a successful plumbing enterprise in Charlotte City. I highly recommend him. Note: I was not paid for this endorsement. Lol

We had a lightning strike, and thought it blew out some computer equipment in our office. We…read morecalled Carl out of caution, as we could not isolate which piece of equipment the smell came from. Carl came out and inspected our office outlets and found a few broken ones, but found nothing that he thought would create the strong smell we were smelling. He went on to inspect the outside walls and found an outlet that he thought might have caused the issue. On inspection it was clear that outside outlet was the source. He replaced that outlet with an upgraded weather resistant GFCI outlet and replaced one other outside outlet that is frequently used on a different circuit. I am thankful that I called as the outlet that was the culprit wasn't even on the circuit I thought the issue was on. Carl was friendly, respectful, and quick.

In addition to that, when a local plumbing company left my Mom in a bad plumbing situation, he came in and saved the day. It was a huge project and he did an awesome job. He is kind, friendly, responsive and an excellent plumber. Anytime I need anything done, he is always the one I call. Trust me, a plumber like Mr. O'Bryan is worth more than his weight in gold!

This is my honest review even though Yelp's algorithm doesn't want to use it as a recommended…read morereview. I downloaded Yelp just to post this review because I was so impressed with my recent plumbing emergency fix that I am sharing that experience with anyone who will listen because I am that darn impressed and thankful. So even though I'm a new Yelper which evidentally counts against my validity, I hope someone does read this review and know I am being 1000% honest & sincere. Positive: Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value, 5 out of 5 stars and then some!! WOW, just WOW! These guys went above and beyond. My parents have used Lane Logan for years and years so naturally I called them first thing when they opened at 8am when my water heater began leaking and I needed an emergency replacement. I talked to Mr. Logan who advised that they could do an install, but they didnt have a replacement that my house needed on site and we couldn't wait for an order due to the urgent leaking I had on my floors in my house. Mr. Logan was nice enough to instruct me on the correct water heater I needed along with the proper wattage heating element. So with the proper knowledge I went and picked up one myself around 9:15am and was home by 10:10am. Once I told Mr. Logan I had the unit, he was able to send 2 of his men, Oval & David, to install my new water heater. I also needed my old unit drained and removed along with several pipe replacements and a new shut off valve (My modular home was built without a water cut off valve at the water heater so we had to cut water to the whole house). These guys showed up early right after I got home with the new unit about 10:30ish. They drained/removed my old unit and worked to replace surrounding pipes, fittings, and added a shut off valve along with installing the new water heater during a terrible storm with all our phones going off with tornado warnings. They got soaked from the heavy rain but kept on trucking to get me through my emergency repair. Now you tell me what plumber you know would stick around and work through such bad weather? Well, Oval & David from Logan Plumbing did! Oh and I can't forget to mention that they hauled away all the packing materials that came with the unit I purchased and cleaned up everything. I am beyond impressed with my first use of Lane Logan plumbing. It's rare I get treated with so much respect from handymen as a 37 year old woman. I haven't been billed yet but I'm sure it will be reasonable from all the other reviews they have on Google. I mean, these guys have a solid 5 star rating there. I'll update these last few lines of my review once I get my final bill. Thank you Lane, Oval, and David. You now have another customer for LIFE!!! Now stop reading this review and CALL Lane Logan Plumbing already! I promise you won't be disappointed. Update 02/17/2020: I received my bill in the mail a few days ago and I was absolutely floored with how low the cost was that Logan Plumbing charged me. Not only did they do a full water heater install and removal/disposal of my old unit, they replaced all my pipes and even one of the drain lines under my house. These guys did not gouge me but charged me a very honest and extremely reasonable amount for both parts and labor. The least I can do now is spread the word on how amazing Logan Plumbing is out of Kings Mountain. I am one happy and now permanent customer.

So I agreed to let them do the work even though I had already found someone that would do the same job for a lot less. So they came and did the work same day which was a plus but... they decided to come in my house and find couple other things he could fix (which wasn't a big deal was just the guts in the back of the toilet) without my permission they fixed anyway. My son was home and asked the guy how much it would be so he could ask me and the guy responded with "oh I don't even know" so that kinda gave the impression that there wasn't going to be a charge He was just going to fix it while he was here. Well when I got my bill it was on there. called and asked about it and he said my son gave permission which is a total Lie! Needless to say I sent a check but will never use them again!
