I'm so glad I found this place! Their food is very reasonably priced. Not only are the servers warm and friendly, but the atmosphere inside the restaurant is also fantastic. Recently tried this place which was recommended to me by clients. Ordered the brisket plate with macaroni and cheese and beans. They have some sauce options that were good. Portions are good...food was tasty and the service was good.....timely and friendly. They have many options. Gets busy at lunchtime so I would suggest going just before or after lunch during work days. They serve beer as well. read more

Good food, doesn't scratch the Texas BBQ itch as this is a Louisiana BBQ. The best value we've found was the sandwiches.

I use to come to this place, or a bbq place in this same spot, years ago. I would always get the bbq burger cause it was so good. Then one day I ordered it as usual, and the counter person said, "I'm sorry, we no longer have that on our menu". What!? No more burger? I was pissed. I left and never returned. That is until today. I walked in the door and the restaurant looked the same. It was bustling with folks seemingly enjoying their bbq. Music was blaring and people were laughing. I saw orders being picked up by the box full. By the look of it I was going to be in for some great Q. I'm writing this review while waiting for my to go order, so I'll let you know how this review ends after I dig in. 10 minutes into my wait. 15 minutes into my wait. I should have asked how long it was going to be. I probably could have downed a beer. But not a Pabst. The blue ribbon was awarded in 1893. Hellooooo! 16 minutes into my wait and my name was called. Bbq inherently takes awhile to put together, especially when the place is busy. So expect to have a wait. Get a beer. At home I opened the take out container (which was made out of cardboard not Styrofoam) and was presented with a lopsided, but Pavlovian experiment worthy burger. Yes, I was salivating, but kept my tongue and drool in my mouth. The burger was cooked to perfection. It was called a Chop Burger. It had brisket and onions on top. A real meat gut buster. Wonderful. Consider eating at the restaurant. It looked like great post Covid fun. There's a bar area attached to the main dining room. I could definitely see myself bellying up to that bar, and probably will do so in the near future. Quick Tip: If you order take out, make sure you ask for plenty of sauce. I was only given one. Customer service is great. The meat is dry though and way too expensive. The corn bread is extra dry. The fried pickles are good. The sausages were rubbery. The brisket so dry, ribs too. The macaroni salad and potato salad both taste like they came out of a bag. The bacon was not fresh. The BBQ sauces were OK but at that price point this food should be beyond excellent so we won't be coming back to this one. 97 dollars foe 2 people and not even enough for left overs and yes that was in spite of not eating much in the first place but to be honest the sides, ribs and corn bread were not even worth taking home. We ordered the Wildcat package for four, everything tasted great. However, I up charged the meat for extra brisk and was really disappointed on the amount that they give for the price. I'd say the meal could probably feed three people comfortably. The brisket was very tender, and the meat fell right off the ribs. The garlic mashed potatoes were good ! So good, I went back to back weekends. I just have to go on a Friday to try their spare ribs. They give you good portions and the food is great. I had the Badlands Sammie (both times) while trying other things from the Sampler. Everything was spot on. Service is always good- We've had Alayna both times and she's pretty cool and responsive to us. A good spot to catch the Football games on a Sunday afternoon without feeling rushed. read more

My brother and his gf recommended this place and on our way home from shopping at the Cabazon outlets we hit it up. The place was packed but it was a weekend so I expected it. Julie and I snagged a booth while my brother finished waiting in line and ordered. He got us a sampler type tray since it was my first time so I got a taste of everything really. Some standouts were the crispy fried pickles- seriously some of the best I've ever had, I think they're dusted in cornmeal to keep the crunch. I really liked the pull pork as well. We had a smattering of other things and for the 3 of us my brother also ordered some extra wings. Wings are my fav food ever and these were phenomenal. I want to bring my husband here if we are back up this way another weekend. The place was small but high volume as the people came, tables turned and more bbq was ordered. Food is very good, however, they don't seem to get the concept of hot food when served for in person dining. Brisket is ALWAYS COLD when served, ribs not much better.Sorry, but cold meat that seems they leave it sit out, is not what should be expected when dining in. Love the food here and the employees are very friendly. One downfall is they run out of most of the meats later in the evening so if you want to make sure you get what you want you have to go earlier. I can say I was disappointed the last time I went because I ordered the brisket and waiting for my food for almost 30 minutes just to be told they ran out of the brisket. I replaced it with the pork. The only disappointment is you pay more for the brisket and they don't offer to refund the difference or offer you something in exchange for not being able to give you what you ordered. read more

I mean endless bbq without having to ask anyone for more. I like my stuff saucy! I do not remember what kind of bbq sauces but heck they were both pretty freaking delicious! Couldn't pick a favorite. Love 'em both! Everything you see in the picture attached we absolutely loved! BESIDES the pulled pork, it was very dry and flavorless.. slap some bbq on it and boom it's edible. We ordered the Triple Threat. For our three meats, we chose pulled pork, brisket, and baby back ribs. It was a lot of meat, and we couldn't finish the entire plate. For our two sides, we opted for the cole slaw and macaroni salad. We wanted some refreshing sides to balance out the fattiness and richness of the meats. The corn bread was on the sweeter side, and it tasted more like a dense cake. Our favorite meat was the brisket since it was so smoky and tender. The baby back ribs were a bit dry, but the meat still pulled apart very easily from the bone. The pulled pork was nicely seasoned, too. Fall off the bones finger licking goodness Smoked brisket 8 ounce $19.75 - tender , delicious smoky flavors Would be 5 stars if the staff sprayed , cleaned the tables after each guests . I hate leaving bad reviews but for the price we paid it was not justifiable. It was close to closing and they ran out of most of their meat. They did have sausages. Turns out they are not smoked. Seem to come out of a plastic package and was actually grilled. Not even fully grilled at it was warm to cold in the middle. They were better off not selling the sausages to us. Almost everything else from the pulled pork to the sides needed a little more salt. Bbq places more akin to Dickey's rather than a proper smokehouse. read more
