Below is my review of the food. signature porterhouse - cooked perfectly, was buttery and flavor was to die for lobster tail - meaty, fresh and delish mashed potatoes - smooth, buttery and yummy mac n cheese - a little bland was just ok creme brulee - perfect amount of sweetness and a nice portion Service was friendly but a little spotty. I felt like maybe they did not have enough staff to cover the tables. First my waiter forgot my drink then he later forgot my mashed potatoes. Our water never got refilled and we were not really checked on after receiving our food. The desserts are not listed anywhere so you have to ask your waiter to recite them. Candied Slab Bacon - Beef Jerky on steroids. Flat Iron & Fritts - Parm truffle fries off the hook/super crispy. Jack Daniel's corn was a refreshing contrast. Ribeye - Juicy, just the right amount of fat, tender. Filet Mignon - Like butter. Best tasting steak at the table. Mac N Cheese - Creamy, but not southern style stick to your ribs creamy, the perfect balance of creamy--creamy light!!! Asparagus - Still crunchy and crisp with a light balsamic glaze. 1st time there tonight, with a reservation and we still got sat at the bar, and there were tables available! The tall guy with a piercing that checked us in blew me off when I asked for a table away from the front door. We were literally steps from the front door. This alone soured the experience!!! This place is amazing! Nestled on a seemingly random corner lot in the middle of Norco, it is hands down the best steakhouse we've found in the IE so far. If you've seen or heard of it and haven't tried it yet, this is your sign! The decor is Western Chic and I particularly love the oak whiskey casks on the wagon in front. The place is on the smaller side, but our server mentioned they were going to be expanding a bit to include a nice outdoor dining area with another bar in the near future. Speaking of our server, Joanna, she was outstanding! She gave us all the time we needed as this was our first time there, while still making sure to check in on us. All of the employees were welcoming and nice, so fantastic service all around. There is a dry-aging room with a view from the dining room where you can watch their butcher at work. The kitchen is somewhat open as well so if you sit at the high top behind the host station, you get a firsthand viewing experience there, too. The bar is immaculate and the drinks are delicious. We got the Brunk's perfect margarita, the berries jubilee and a beer on draft. Now about the food...insert drooling emoji here! The candied slab bacon appetizer was so flavorful and literally melted in our mouths. The filet and the Wagyu Snake River Farms NY steaks were perfectly cooked and so tender n juicy! The sides are shareable and decently sized. We got the mac n cheese with the truffle oil and the brussels. Everything was delicious. We had zero complaints and we will definitely be back! I was in the area this past weekend and was recommended this restaurant as I was told they had recently started serving lunch. I didnt see any steak options as part of the lunch menu, so I went with the Chicken Chimichurri Sandwich. It came with fries and I also added on a side salad. The salad was amazing as the onions were soaked in a type of balsamic with fruit tones. They were SO good! The fries were really good also. Fries arent hard to mess up but not all places can do them well. These were really good. The sandwich I was a little underwhelmed with. I didnt taste any chimichurri which I was really looking forward to. It has arugula though which I am obsessed with and added great flavor to the sandwich! I definitely would have ordered a steak plate if it was offered for lunch. I did get the dinner menu as well and was told I could order from that. I also had a glass of the J Lohr Chardonnay and it was crisp and perfect. The service was impeccable. The gal that sat me and was my waitress was so friendly and attentive. What I believe was the manager came over and said hello and I shared it was my first time there and that it was recommended to me. I joked with my friend who is local to this restaurant I was going to go check it out, have lunch and maybe wrangle me a Norco Cowboy. I was the only one there for lunch, so that didnt happen but I will definitely come back for lunch again when I am in the area. Really disappointed with my recent experience at Brunks Steakhouse in Norco. I ordered the Berries Jubilee cocktail and later found out the bartender quietly substituted the Jason Mamoa's Meili Premium Vodka for Outfitters vodka instead without mentioning it at all. If a restaurant is out of an ingredient or wants to substitute a different liquor then advertised, that should absolutely be disclosed to the customer. I may have chosen a different drink entirely had I known. What made the experience worse was that when I politely asked about the substitution, the service completely changed afterward. I received virtually no service for the remainder of my visit, which felt very unprofessional. The overall atmosphere behind the bar also looked messy, with staff members' personal Starbucks cups and water bottles left cluttering the back countertop area. The issue isn't just the vodka itself -- it's the lack of transparency, professionalism, and customer service. Customers should receive what's advertised on the menu or at minimum be informed before substitutions are made. read more

The owner here, Nicole is on fire! She knows how to run shop at all locations and she's always running in every direction to make sure her customers have a wonderful experience. I came here for lunch on a Saturday since it is pretty close to the cemetery where I spent my morning. There was a lot of empty seating. They have a lunch menu so I decided to order the smokehouse burger which was a bit cheaper than the other things on the menu. We also ordered a steak and calamari. My wife and I wanted a nice steak dinner for our anniversary. We found Brunk's online and thought we would try it out. We had high hopes on having a great meal... the service was not good. When we did get the server she was very nice, but like I said when she came over to us. People who came in after us received their drinks before us. As a matter of fact, we received our appetizer before our drinks (odd but not a deal breaker). I ordered a $25 old fashioned to drink and watched the bartender grab a bottle of Jack Daniel's for it. Luckily it was empty and they used a different brand.(I've never had a $25 Jack Daniel's old fashioned. We ordered the Tomahawk steak to share, medium cook... it took what seemed like an hour to cook. (Other customers came in after us and got their drinks and food before our steak) When the steak did come out it was overcooked. For the price we were paying I wanted my steak cooked right, so we sent it back and the next one was raw. Now we had been there for about an hour and a half or more. So we chose to eat what we could and take the rest home. We waited for awhile for the server to come ask how we were doing, we asked for a box and the check. Need less to say we were not pleased with the service or the cook on the steak. For $268 one would expect more. We had high hopes for a Norco steak house. read more

He walked us through the menu and gave us great suggestions. The food was amazing! The candied bacon slab was tender with just the right amount of sweetness. Upon arriving, with no reservations on a Wednesday afternoon, we were promptly seated and given the menus. We chose a lunch and a steak plate. It was alright. The fries were a little over seasoned aka too salty. I had an unexpectedly great experience at this steakhouse, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. While you'd normally come here for the steaks, I decided to switch it up and ordered the chicken fettuccine along with the steak frites--and both dishes were seriously impressive. The chicken fettuccine was rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. The pasta was cooked just right, and the chicken was tender and flavorful, not dry at all like you sometimes get at other places. It had that comforting, homemade feel but with a more elevated, restaurant-quality touch. The steak frites, though, were the highlight. The steak was cooked exactly to my liking--juicy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor with a great sear on the outside. The fries were crispy and fresh, pairing perfectly with the steak. You can tell they pay attention to quality here. The atmosphere was also on point--nice balance between upscale and relaxed, making it perfect for a date night or even just a solid dinner out. Visited Brunks during their first week (soft opening/limited menu) and we were thoroughly impressed. Everything ran so smoothly during the soft opening, we thought they had been open longer. We ordered the filet mignon, flat iron, Cesar salad, Brussel sprouts and Zinfandel wine. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the brussel sprouts were also amazing. Unfortunately, we didn't do dessert because they only had an ice cream dessert (we are NOT ice cream people). Our server assured us the full menu will definitely have some options. The only (and I mean ONLY drawback were the short barstools for the high bar top). We met Nicole Brunk (one of the owners) and she said they were working on getting the taller barstools :) Overall, the food was AMAZING, the servers were all excellent and the owner was incredibly nice and helpful. I have been here 3 times. The first 2 experiences were amazing. The Steak Ribeye and Porterhouse were cooked to perfection. Also their Wedge Salad was so delicious. The 3rd time I came me and my wife decided to order Wedge Salads. I had mine with Steak. They brought hers out first and it took at least 10 extras minutes to bring mine out and by that time she was done. They should have planned to bring out at the same time. On top of that my wedge salad was smaller than normal and barely any dressing, I had to ask for more dressing. Secondly we decided to share a Porterhouse steak ($89) which the time prior it was huge and cooked to perfection. When we got it we noticed it was smaller then the last time we ordered but worst of all It had absolutely NO Seasoning and no taste. We had to add so much salt to add flavor. We let the chef know and instead of asking to recook one for us He only gave us $17 off a $89 Steak. It was a Huge disappointment, oh and they waiter gave us a free scoop of ice cream. But spending basically $100 on a Steak it should have been perfect or near perfect. This steak had NO flavor, No Seasoning. I don't know if we will return. The drink selection also stood out. They offer a wide variety of alcohol, great cocktails, and a solid wine list. I knew it would be expensive, but for what they give you not worth the price, especially the drinks. The restaurant is small, but quaint, but loud if a lot of people in there. Our server was very good and attentive. Always checking to make sure we were ok. I tried to order the J'adore chicken they were out, then tried to order the salmon also out. Ended up with the hanger steak, very good, but they didn't have any chimichurri sauce. Not sure I will be going back anytime soon between the price and being out of multiple menu items. Great steaks. We had an assortment. All cooked perfect. The mac & cheese is incredible, get the truffle oil added. The asparagus was not a good flavor profile for the 4 of us...less is more. Aspargus requires no goop on top ;) Wedge salad not very plentiful but full of great flavor. 6pm Wednesday was nice and quiet....for 30 minutes...then it was a full house and the noise level was so high we were shouting to hear one another. I was super impressed finding this gem of a steakhouse in an old Circle K building in the middle of a Norco neighborhood. I needed a last minute Valentine's Day reservation and was able to book super easy online with two spots left. We arrived 40 minutes early and were able to wait at the bar to enjoy a drink waiting for our table. Strawberry lemon drop and old fashioned were excellent though $25 for an old fashioned seemed high, could've been the brand but super smooth. Vday was limited to a prefix menu starting at $125 a person but included everything we would've ordered and more. There were other add on items but didn't seem necessary. My only recommendation is that the complimentary bread not be so hard to bite. Wedge salads very delicious, calamari has great seasoning and not chewy, filet and strip steak cooked and seasoned perfectly as one would expect at this price point. Mashed potatoes and asparagus very good, and to finish the vanilla ice cream chocolate cake was perfect portion to end with. Overall the staff said this is still in soft opening phase since August 2025 and will have grand opening at end of this month February 2026. I would recommend this small restaurant to others to try as a local alternative to the bigger steakhouses. Date night, success! We've been looking for a steakhouse in the area that could deliver exceptional quality and craftsmanship steaks. The hunt was on, until we found Brunks. The hostess was super accomplished and very professional. (We had a reservation, but came in a little early). Note: book a reservation, it is practically mandatory. Our waitress was phenomenal. Mattea was super knowledgeable of the menu, answered our 21 questions, and checked on us regularly. (Didn't ever have to ask for refills). The food itself was outstanding. I had the Steak Frites (I consider myself an aficionado of the dish). While it is not a traditional version of the dish, the steak was exceptionally cooked and incredibly tender. The fries were cooked in tallow, and the roasted corn topping was an unexpected, and appreciated flare. My wife has the New York steak, which also was cooked to perfection. I'm a bit of a steak snob, I have to admit, so let's get right to it - my medium rare ribeye was PERFECT! It melted in my mouth. It had marbling that added great flavor and the butter on top was delicious. It needed absolutely nothing else - the quality of the meat spoke for itself. I can't wait to go back for another steak! I also got to try the mashed potatoes, which were creamy and delicious. My house salad was enjoyable and I could tell the ranch was house-made! The mushrooms were good as well. My other big highlight of the meal though was the White Lyon lemon ice cream. This is an exclusive to Brunk's - it won't even be served at White Lyon. It's a perfect pairing if you ask me, because a light refreshing dessert was great after a hearty steak and otherwise heavy meal. The ice cream tasted like a plain vanilla, but had lemon zest and lemon juice, a bit of salt, and then honey drizzle. I love nothing more than an Old Fashioned with my ribeye. My Old Fashioned was good, and I loved the double bourbon cherry, but I do wish it was one big ice cube instead of crunchy ice. The crunchy ice melted too fast/watered down the cocktail a bit. I was here for a private event before opening night, and I can't wait to return and try all the other side dishes - but I will never go and NOT order a medium rare ribeye.
