I read a review in the Sun Sentinel touting the restaurant being very good and reasonable. A small Italian restaurant in a strip shopping center. They have six or seven tables. Basically a pizza place with a fairly large menu, Service is slow since they have only 1 sever. My wife loves Chicken alla Parmigiana, Chicken, Napoli sauce, and mozzarella cheese., Served with pasta ( spaghetti, ziti or linguini), and sauce (Napoli, pesto, or Alfredo). Small portion that she thought was average. I chose the Linguini Frutti di Mare, shrimp, calamari, mussels, clams, and homemade Baffi's Napoli sauce. It was ok, nothing special. You don't get a choice of soup or salad just plain rolls, not garlic.

We decided to try Baffis because of the good reviews and we were not disappointed. A small little restaurant and family owned. The food and service was excellent. The staff is friendly and efficient, really did a great job. We ordered the Contadina pizza and Linguini Carbonaro for dinner. The pizza was served steaming hot with thin crispy crust, cheese, sliced tomatoes, olives, mushrooms, onions. Its one of the best pizza's I've had. The linguini carbonaro was also served hot and was creamy with bits of bacon and linguini. It was excellent! Both were delicious! Their desserts are homade. We ordered the Pavlova as a Mother's Day treat. Not only a beautiful dessert but amazingly delicious! A small was enough for two of us. We highly recommend Baffis as one of the best restaurants in the Coconut Creek/Boca area. We cant wait to return!

And the chef/baker also supplies a few restaurants with their freshly made pasta. Everything here (except the meats and cheese) are made by Mirko, the owner. All the desserts, the breads, the pastas and the cooked dishes -- that you can buy frozen to take home and heat up. He has a daily lunch special with your choice of pasta and your choice of sauce. It's quite a bargain. We just shared a large sandwich -- made from one whole huge long ciabatta. We had salami and cheese on our sandwich -- but they have many types. Plus they have focaccia bread if you prefer. There are too many types of pastries to list. They all looked delicious. I also bought a chocolate croissant to take home for later. Mirko is from Rome. I almost forgot bout the Waldorf chicken salad and the tuna and crab salads. Listen, it's all good so just go! It was our first time at Divieto ... although my husband thinks we've been there before. (Ummmm,…read moreno, no we haven't.) Anyway, in any case, we enjoyed it thoroughly, and that's why I'm doubling down that we haven't been there before - we would have been back! It was our anniversary and a Saturday, and fortunately we went early enough to avoid the rush. The hostess was lovely and, when I mentioned we usually like to sit at the bar, she said not to worry about our reservation and sit wherever we like. We ended up at a table because the bar was pretty crowded and we wanted a more quiet evening. So, Ben was our server and he was fantastic! He gave me a solid recommendation when I asked for his opinion, he was attentive without being a pest, and he had a great personality. I don't rave about a server, but he was a gem! We had a Caesar salad, spaghetti and meatballs and calamari. My husband said the spaghetti and meatballs were very good and the calamari was one of the best I've had anywhere - totally crunchy yet tender. (Thank you, Ben, for the recommendation!) The meal is served with a crusty bread and oil with balsamic, and I love a crusty bread. We were treated to an anniversary dessert of a brownie with ice cream, and who doesn't like that?! Anyway, it truly was a nice evening. I can understand why the reviews are so positive, and it's always a pleasant surprise when expectations are not only met but exceeded!

For dessert, the tiramisu was a favorite, while the kids were very happy with their ice cream! For a larger group, everything came out pretty well and we enjoyed the overall atmosphere. There were a few things that could have been a little smoother, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars, but overall it was a fun dinner and a good experience. We'd definitely consider coming back!

The portion was HUGE, and everything was cooked really well. My daughter had the Linguine Bolognese and absolutely loved it. I also had a glass of Chalk Hill Chardonnay, which came out extra cold and was perfect. Our server was amazing! I really wish I remembered her name because she deserves the recognition. She was attentive, friendly, and absolutely fantastic throughout our entire meal. The only miss for us was the tiramisu. If I could rate the dessert separately, I'd probably give it around 2 stars. I've had a lot of tiramisu, and this one just didn't taste quite right to me. There was a really strong cinnamon flavor that overpowered everything else, along with a very heavy coffee taste. I know tiramisu is a coffee-based dessert, but the combination of that much coffee with the cinnamon was just too overpowering and took away from the flavors I normally love in tiramisu. We also had the Strawberry Cream Cake, though, and that was absolutely 5 stars! It was really great, and the flavors were very well balanced. We really enjoyed that one and would definitely order it again. That being said, I'm still giving Lynora's 5 stars overall because everything else--the food, portions, wine, and especially the service--was great. Unfortunately, our last two visits have been overshadowed by our interactions with the manager, Edward. On both occasions, I found Edward to be incredibly rude, dismissive, and disrespectful. What makes this especially disappointing is that we aren't first-time customers complaining about one bad experience--we have supported this restaurant for years and have continued coming back because we genuinely enjoy it. Good food is only part of what makes a restaurant successful. How loyal customers are treated matters just as much. I should never leave a restaurant that I have supported for years feeling disrespected by its manager, and unfortunately, that is exactly how I have felt after my last two visits. We still love Lynora's food and have many great memories here, which is why I'm so disappointed to be writing this review. I sincerely hope ownership takes a close look at how customers are being treated by management, because Edward's behavior is completely inconsistent with the hospitality and customer service we had come to expect from Lynora's.
