This will be their 40th year in business. That alone speaks volumes. Went in and found a surprisingly packed little restaurant. That immediately Tells me I'm in the right place. Orders a slick or regular (thin) and a slice of Sicilian (Thick). Recently this is my goto move. Tries two different crusts. Thick, it was good, not amazing, but a solid typical slice you could get in any decent pizza place anywhere in metro NY. The regular (Thin) was really good, as my slices heated up, I watched them toss a few pies. The 40 years shows, this is what they do. And they do it well. I tried to get into Lenora's Italian Restaurant, but the wait was going to be at least 45 minutes to an hour. So I decided to go to Thick and Thin Pizzeria on State Road 7 in Boca Raton. Whenever I would go to this restaurant when Daniella and her brother Alex were running this restaurant, there were people lined up waiting to get in. When I walked in the door this evening the restaurant was almost empty. I ordered my entree and decided that I would like a slice of Sicilian pizza. The waitress said that she was not sure if there was any at the counter. I said that I would appreciate it if she would ask. She didn't come back to the table to let me know if any was available. About twelve minutes later when she came with the salads, I said I guess that there isn't any Sicilian slices. That was when she said that a customer came in and bought the remaining slices (I guess it takes some time to come up with a story. Had she come back and told me they were out of what I wanted, I felt like a slice of pizza so I would have settled for a regular slice. The food was okay, but it didn't come out hot (it came out warm). Between the lack of attention from the waitress and the warm food, I couldn't give them more than three stars. read more

Thanks for nothing! Had to leave without my portion of the dinner. Stood at the counter 4 minutes past my order window and then was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later I gave up waiting and said just give me the pizza so my daughter could eat. It would be nice if someone there could manage the restaurant so it's not always like this. Everyone who ordered from the kitchen received the same it will be 10 minutes message which clearly is never the case. 110% worse since they opened the other location and I think the kids both work there. Took my son (5) here today at 4:30, place was busy but there were empty tables and we sat ourselves in a booth. Waitress took a LONG time to come take our order. I ordered two slices for my son and and the large ceasar salad with chicken for myself, and two waters. The waters took a while. At one point I stopped the waitress to ask about them and she seemed annoyed. When she finally got around to getting them to us I told her to please bring my son's food out first. So of course my salad came first. And it didn't have chicken on it. Which, okay, maybe she misheard me, as long as it isn't on the bill, no big deal. But for the price (15.95) it was extremely underwhelming and severely overdressed. The slices came about five minutes afterwards, and for what it is worth, my son enjoyed them, even though I felt they were too well-done, but I know some people prefer that. But as I was getting to the bottom of my salad, there was very obviously a hair in it. I was done at that point. I asked the waitress for the check and a refill of my son's water. Another employee noticed my card on the table and asked if I wanted him to run my card, which I appreciated, and we paid the bill and left without ever getting our refill. We love this place. It's our Friday night Jam! I'm in New York and it's really hard to find good pizza in South Florida. Found this spot and I must say the pizza is delicious this is one of my favorite spots for pick up. I typically order a half pepperoni half pizza and it does not disappoint. Just wish they had extra large size pizzas as we love leftovers. This is a small location but has dining area space. While driving to our hotel we decided to stop in at Thick & Thin Pizza and I'm so happy that we did. When you walk in it looks like an old school Italian restaurant and it's quite small but the workers were really nice and seated us immediately. They have lots of classic Italian dishes and their prices were really reasonable. The pizza had great flavor that reminded me of some of the slices I've had in New York. The pepperoni roll was huge and jam packed with pepperoni, one of the best pepperoni rolls I've ever had. The garlic rolls were cooked to perfection and light and fluffy, the marinara complemented it perfectly. The meatballs in the sub were so tender and you could tell they were made from scratch. The chicken parmigiana lunch portion was just the right size. The chicken parmigiana was nice and thin and the sauce tasted really well. Next time I'm in the area I will definitely make my way back. The food was amazing, the prices reasonable, and the staff nice and attentive, all the characteristics that make for a great meal. read more

Going in, it was a week day, so we were seated quickly. Tonight, we ordered 1x manicotti dinner, 1x eggplant rollatini and ordered garlic bread & Italian wedding soup for our sides. Moving on with my review; everything was very good! The Italian wedding soup had a rich and flavorful broth with very tender lil meatballs! The manicotti noodles were tender, well stuffed, and came with a deliciously vibrant tomato sauce. The eggplant rollatini was surprisingly light, but just right! Tender rolled eggplant strips with great ratio of ricotta with every bite. Overall, this isn't our first rodeo at Thick n Thin, but you could never go wrong with any of the classic red sauce dishes here! Easily a 5/5. read more

Came for dinner on a slower Saturday night for Thick and Thin. Service was decent. Ordered Baked Ziti, Egg Plant Parmigiana and chicken parmigiana. Comes with Salad, pasta And rolls. Salad came and was typical of the salad here. Ziti was great and hot as was the Eggplant. The chicken parmigiana and pasta was not hot and actually sent it back. The pasta came back hot the the chicken was still not hot. You do not come here for the ambience but for the food which usually is excellent and reasonably priced though their prices have gone up the last few years. I would love to see Spenda as a sweetner vs. sweet and low. But will be back! read more

The first time I went to this restaurant was with a family member visiting from out of town. It has a quaint cozy kind of feel. I had the Chicken Lemon Francese. It was very good! I ate the whole meal. Guess I was hungry. I came back and ordered the same meal but somehow the chef was kinda heavy handed with the salt and butter. It happens. Maybe the restaurant is better known for the pizza of which I have not tried. No complaints on cleanliness or service. If I go another time I'll try the pizza or something else. read more

First, I must say... I have been to this pizzeria many, many times. In fact, it's my wife's go to spot for a Margarita Pizza. It has always been a great local spot and I have enjoyed every single meal I have eaten there... ...with that said, it pains me to write this review. I just drive all the way home hoping to surprise my wife with her favorite pie after her hard day at work. After calling in the order and being told it would be 70 minutes (wasn't really bothered because the product it worth the wait and I'm glad a local business is that busy). But, when I arrived home and opened the box... I was more than disappointed! The pie was over cooked and it appeared to be a cheese pizza with super thin sliced tomatoe and Basil. Dark, dry and just disappointing for sure. For one 16" pie (Margarita) and two slices with anchovies... it was over $35 +tip!!! In this economy... that is ridiculous when the food is less than edible. We are not the family to call, complain and get free stuff. They really need to concentrate better... you can be very busy with first timers... but when the product isn't 100% there will be no return customers. I will go back... I will let them know and show the photos... don't need free anything (thank God) however... I will try them again. I remarked to the staff, "This place is worth the wait" and then I realized I hadn't left a Yelp review yet, so here we are. I don't order pizza too often, but when I do, I like to order from here. As the name implies, they serve Thick and Thin crust, which is unique. I like that they are not a chain and you're not paying for some corporation. Support local when and if you can. :) The pizza is DELISH! I get the gluten free crust. Tonight I got with black olives, mushrooms and ricotta cheese. Yum yum! You can order online and specify how well done you want the crust, etc. The wait does take a while for takeout (think like an hour on weekend nights), but if you order online it tells you when it will be ready. I haven't eaten in yet. It's small and it looks like it would be a good time, but not a place where you'd hang out for hours. The staff there is super nice, although they are super busy! Got a pizza for pick up. Heard about this place never tried the pizza but been passing by it for years. Today I decided to give it a try and I really like this pizza. I rate the food "5" stars, I rate the delivery driver "5" stars, and I rate the service "0" stars, which kills any ambiance. It has been a very long time since I ordered delivery from this restaurant, although I know the food is good. I couldn't remember why I stopped ordering until last night when I went elsewhere to order. I'll address that after I give you my assessment of the pizza and veal Parmesan hero. The delivery was promised in 90 minutes, but it showed up in approximately 45 minutes to an hour. All the food wasn't hot. It was warm enough that it didn't need any reheating. The first thing I went to was the pizza. I ordered the pizza well done with a crispy crust, and that's exactly what I got. The cheese was delicious, the sauce was delicious, the crust was delicious, the whole pie was spectacular. So my overall assessment of the pizza was that it was extremely delicious. The Veal Parmesan hero didn't have enough sauce for my liking, but it had plenty of cheese. Considering the way it was wrapped, the bread still had some texture instead of being soft and moist. The Parmesan was good in my opinion. My issue with the restaurant and delivery is that they charge a $2.95 service charge for delivery. That goes to the house, not to the driver. I questioned the lady that took the call. She said if you order from Uber, it costs you a lot more. I responded by saying yes, but you're also saving 20% because Uber is not charging those fees to you. You're keeping them. She didn't seem to care, and that's when it hit me on why I stopped ordering from them. I consider it a legal theft. It's not the $2.95, it's the principle of them trying to take advantage of a customer when they're actually saving money by not using the delivery service. With times being tough? I think the money is best suited for delivery people. So I'll go back and start ordering from the other place that I usually order from. I doubt they'll miss my minimum $50 order twice a month. read more

Pizza Slices. GOOD. The Regular Slice was indeed very thin with the right balance of flavor between the Cheese and the Tomato Sauce. My only criticism would be that the flavor of the Regular Slice should be amped up a bit more. The SICILIAN Slice was more flavorful with the Tomato Sauce being more dominant than the Cheese in taste. RECOMMEND. read more

I hate to do this since I remember going to this place as a kid, but the pizza isn't that good. Not sure if they just have a cult following, or regulars, but it's so not like it once was. The pizza was so dry and the crust had ZERO flavor. We also ordered penne ala vodka and it was not good at all. I can't even pinpoint what it tasted like, but definitely not how it's supposed to. Also, the pasta was too soft, definitely not al dente. I was excited to come back, but sadly, I won't be back. Pizza Time in East Boca is MUCH better. read more

Our favorite "go to" place for family run pizzeria.My complaint is that they have such strong local following ,sometimes you have to wait to grab a table.my wife usually orders a pasta dish while I enjoy their calzones, or a Veal parmiagian.which I rate a 4 out of 5.Despite being busy service seems to hold up ! After reading good reviews I decided to give this place a shot and it was disappointing especially after some people compared it to NYC pizza. It wasn't as it lacked the crispiness of a NY slice and folded like bread. The regular pie was also too thick and the sauce was both too sweet and too salty. The Sicilian pie was not much better. Corrective measure: We did put EVOO on the pies and the extra oil gave it more of a NYC outer borough taste but that went just so far. This shop is located far out west and we had it delivered beachside and the pie was still warm so kudos to them for that. read more

I'm going for some kind of record. I tried the Thai place next door last night and after hearing there was a line out the door for this place, I wanted to see what all the hype was about. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS AREA OF BOCA. Do you people leave this area to try other food? I assume they have their die hard fans that have been eating here for decades but that's just no excuse- why is this rated so high??? This place is so mediocre, it's not up to NY standard which most complain about but it also isn't up to idk any other pizza place within a 10 mile radius. This is a joke right, people rate it high to trick NYers to coming in? All their snowbird friends vouch for them and only live here for 5 months and let us all suffer at the hands of bad pizza??? Went on Saturday night with my boys, who have really become pizza snobs as of late. We have just moved to Florida from New York. I thought that the water in the dough down here just made pizza bad, but I gotta say Thick and Thin made a fine and super tasty pizza. We had the thick crust large pepperoni.
