Lobster special pasta was excellent, loved it!!! Service was great and we were serviced by Cori, she was amazing! Tiramisu made in house and super good as well. Family also ordered lasagna, was ok, and spaghetti bolognese which was great. Will be returning Restaurant pretty loud but is alright

The meatballs were soft to the touch of my fork, also both savory and creamy - definitely order these!

After a solid day of work; the family decided to take us somewhere nice for dinner. Browsing around, we decided to take a turn at the Sette Mezzo Ristorante! Going inside, we got in at the nick of time, and were seated immediately. For dinner, we ordered 1x Meatballs, 1x Caprese Tower, 1x Chicken Sette, and 1x Veal Parmesan. Moving on with my review, we had mixed feelings about the food this evening. For starters, I forgot to snap photos, but we were courteously served hot crusty bread with cold butter which was delicious and tasted fresh made! The meatballs were soft to the touch of my fork, also both savory and creamy - definitely order these! The caprese tower came with some kalamata vinaigrette which I thought added a nice salty unami touch and mozzarella was indeed fresh! As for the entrees; the Veal parmesan wasn't grisly, and nicely tender, but I do think the sauce here was to acidic for our liking and could be more balanced. The Chicken Sette was a huge letdown as it was very tough, and the "bechamel" (if you can even call it that) was very bland. Despite my criticism, our server, was very attentive and friendly! Overall, we think the food was above average, but could use some improvements. For this reason, my final review for now is 3/5 stars.

Quaint authentic style Italian restaurant located in Coconut creek. The chef is known from being born in Sicily. The inside was decorated nice and had a clean feeling. The food was fresh and flavorful and the portions were large. I ordered the chicken Parmesan entree and totally recommend. The service was spectacular. I definitely recommend this Italian eatery.

A tale of three eggplant parmigianas tonight. If I could only pick one, it would be this one. Chef Franco Filippone knew this wasn't our only stop tonight, but boy, he did his best to keep us there. Honestly, I will stay the whole evening next time. First, on Saturday night, the place was packed. We waited a bit and ended up at the chef's table directly behind the pass. This is where all the action is -- don't be afraid to take this one, especially if you are a foodie, because you will see all the great dishes going out. And Franco has an eyeball view of you there. While we waited, I ordered a negroni -- a 1:1:1 ratio of gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth -- I can't argue with it, and it sets the stage. Franco knew we were hungry, so he sent out a cannellini bean, baby shrimp, and arugula with Calabrian pepper (!!!) over crostini app in a garlic sauce, which was fabulous and had a kick -- my plate had the business end of the pepper on it so I took the seeds out and cut it up and redistributed it. If you were to pop that in your mouth whole without doing that you'd be in for a surprise. The eggplant. It's honestly hard to do a better job with this. Nice thin discs (rather than strips) of nicely seasoned and breaded fried eggplant, with a tangy, acidic sauce made with San Marzano tomatoes. Beautiful mozzarella with a nice cheese pull. Perfectly cooked spaghetti in a classic marinara with table parmigiano cheese grating service. This eggplant parm is a fusion of an Italian American version with nice Italian ingredients that is executed perfectly. Would order again and again. We were about ready to pack up, and head over the next victim, but he sent out a pistachio ricotta cheesecake that is to DIE for. I had a bite, asked Rachel to stop eating it and had it packed up with the rest of the eggplant. We're finishing it later. Sette Mezzo is a top Italian restaurant in a sea of Italian restaurants in west Broward. Don't underestimate the food there.

My only negative was I asked to take the leftover complimentary bread and olive oil home with my leftover lunch and they did not include the bread. I had even moved it from the bread basket to my plate on top of my sandwich so I can't imagine why they did not include it. The oil was included in a little decanter and all. They offer plenty of lunch specials, but I was here for only one task, to try the NY style pizza. The ambiance was perfect for a pizzeria with the intent to display a nostalgic NY theme. The oversized pizza slice was at a very reasonable three bucks. Lifted the firm "No Flop" slice to my awaiting mouth, thankful that oil from the cheese was not dripping down my hand. So happy hearing that crunch from the thin lightly charred undercarriage. Pleased with the zesty garlic sauce covered lightly by the cheese. The cornicione did not have charred air bubbles, but had an honorable crunch. The gender assigned bathroom was clean with black painted cement flooring complemented by a poster of the original 1972 Godfather's movie starring Marlon Brando and Al Pachino - now it was evident that this was a legit old school Italian pizzeria. We opted for the regular cheese pizza. The crust was the right thickness: not too thin and not too thick. People's tastes in pizza are subjective, so I'll just say it was a good pizza, but not the best ever. We paired our pizza with an order of penne alla vodka. The dish was flavorful, but the vodka sauce seemed a bit thin and runny. The accompanying "garden salad" was good. It had a nice assortment of veggies. Nothing fancy but satisfying. In fact, casual would be the best way to describe Amici's. The brown butcher paper tablecloth, clamped down at the edges, clearly set the tone for the experience. I wanted to ask for a crayon to drawn on the paper! In keeping with this casual style, the food prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is small, with about a half-dozen tables. Dining at, or taking food out from, Amici's provides a nice value for a decent meal. The service is also excellent as the staff is very friendly and attentive at this neighborhood institution in Coconut Creek.

We were greeted by Gisela, who was our server and she was incredibly kind and attentive! Ive been wanting to try this restaurant because I saw they had egg gondola pizzas on Instagram! Its important to note that this restaurant is getting a menu overhaul and the new menus should be available soon which have way more tasty looking options than the old! We ended up ordering the classic egg gondola pizza (apologies as in my attached photo I had already mixed up the egg before I took my picture, but it was super cute!), the bruschetta, the stuffed shells and two garlic rolls. I have to start with the egg gondola pizza because it was absolutely everything I wanted it to be! A beautiful blend of mozz and feta, the creamy yolk of the egg and the petfectly crisp pizza gondola made for the absolute tastiest combination! They also have other flavor combonations for this egg gondola that I cannot wait to try! We also got the bruschetta which was just good. I do wish there were a bit more tomatoes, but the bread was soft yet toasty and the flavor was fresh. The stuffed shells were so good I wish the dish came with more! You get 4, which is a perfect amount if you also get an app. They are definitely STUFFED, they dont skimp on the cheese! The sauce wasn't too sweet, and the melty cheese on top really made this dish shine. It did come with soup or salad, but we declined. And because of that it looks like they gave us the two garlic rolls we ordered for free, which I really appreciate! The garlic rolls were a classic. Buttery, garlicky, soft on the inside, crispy on the outside and a sprinkle of parm cheese. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect roll. Overall, I cant wait to come back to try the new menu items. The price we paid for this meal was more than reasonable. Everything was only $55.59 with tax. Flavors were spot on, service was fantastic, cute ambiance inside, and food came out insanely fast!
