DELICIOUS. I'm stunned that Modesto, a landlocked city, has such amazing crawfish. The crawfish had to have been frozen as it is not in season. However, the crawfish were HUGE and tasted fresh. A few of the crawfishes were the size of a prawn. I'm so impressed by this place, especially it being a chain. The fries - cajun and garlic - are both flavorful. The size and length of the fries were very unique. Lots of potato flavor and not just fried-ness. The sauces - cajun, lousiana, and atomic - are all tasty. There is so much substance of garlic, spices, and ginger - not just oil and butter. The prices are so reasonable for the 209 and the waiters/service is great. Everyone is friendly and mindful of space. They come to the table frequently enough without invading space - given it is still COVID times. Yes, they do have robots. However, the waiters still need to assist by carrying the food off the robot to the table. The robots still need to be improved as oftentimes they would run into the legs of the chair and corners of the table. 10/10 would recommend this restaurant for any occasion. read more

Delicious spicy cajun shrimp in a bag! I ordered the bag of shrimp. We had potatoes and corn added to the bag with a side of garlic noodles. The food was messy but great. I did not mind eating and peeling the shrimp myself. I shared my bag with my honey and we had plenty of food. It reminded me of a similar concept in LA. BEST SERVICE EVER!! My friends and I came in today so excited to try it out for our birthdays. So excited that I came in wearing a crab hat haha. Our server Lisa was very helpful when it came to the menu. Her energy was through the roof! I've never had a server like her. The flavoring was the atomic (combination) in the next level up from medium. It wasn't spicy, but the flavoring was good. I'm not sure what kind of "butter" they use or if they even use butter. It was a soft opening week includes a promo of 10% off, so I took that opportunity to take family of 6 to check it out for dinner on Sunday (11/7/21). We arrived at 5 and was there already people waiting in the waiting area. I checked in and the hostess said it will be an hour wait, which we all agreed to wait. While waiting more people came in. Within I would say 10-15 minutes wait, my food came out and wasn't a waiter or waitress that brought out the food but a ROBOT! It's pretty cool. Anyways, my order kept coming consistently. Food was delicious! I ordered crawfish, shrimps, crab claw with corn and sausage, a po boy shrimp and po boy fish sandwich with garlic fries, seasoned fries and salad, clam chowder and gumbo soup. All was delicious!! My only thing is I would ask for more sauce in my seafood just to add more flavor. Overall, I'm very impressed with the customer service . And our lobster po boy sandwich was a single piece of Texas toast folded in half with tasteless lobster in a sour cream like sauce that overpowered the whole sandwich. We won't be back. We had to walk to a pod, kinda like Quest Diagnostics and type in our information, again very impersonal.Then sit down and wait to be called.While waiting we watched a robot roll around playing Ice cream truck music and bringing dinners to the patrons in pails.I said "Bringing the food". A waitress would then take the food out of the robot and put it on the table,impersonal.The setting :Mid size paper plates,plastic forks,and a can of coke(No refills). The food: We kept it simple as it was our first time. Bag of shrimp and a cup of steamed rice(Cost extra). The entree was a bag of red oil,roughly chopped up raw garlic,and unpeeled split shrimp.The Garlic was in fact crunchy.Did I eat it? Yes,But it was more of a challenge.During the whole meal I kept trying to guess which part of the meal was Cajun.I guessed the rice....What did I expect: Real plates,real smiles,real personalities,real eye contact,cold coke(maybe even a refill), I may be wrong,but I'm guessing that all entrees are shipped in from some factory fresh frozen in bags,to be boiled in bags to be brought to you in bags by a robot.
