The last time we visited, there was an incident with our server that left us uncomfortable. He made an inappropriate remark assuming our background, which we had to correct. I would give it a 3.5 stars. I had a pound of the crawfish with the Louisiana flavor and my friend had a pound of the mussels with the atomic. Everything is pretty tasty and I can't complain. It did smell of cleaning supplies when we went so the smell was overpowering. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. I hope they add live crawfish. Absolutely scrumptious food. We love shrimp boil and Cajun seafood. Of all the places we've tried between CA and Hawaii, this by far is THE BEST. Service was fast and friendly. Our mobile order was prepared expeditiously & ready at the stated time. Parking is easy, especially since there's designated spots out front for an easy in & out. Ample dining area to accommodate large parties. Some of the BEST wings we've ever had. And my Hubby is a self proclaimed WANG KANG so his seal of approval speaks volumes. We ordered a pound of each sauce with varying spice levels plus rice and garlic noodles. I ate so much garlic that it gave me major heartburn and indigestion. But I'm chalking that up to my troublesome tummy. I've been to Bag O Crab a few times. I always remember that it's a chain restaurant, but not act like a snob because it is. I'm just a dude that likes to eat. I believe that the quality of food, service and atmosphere create the dining experience. On each visit, the staff have always been friendly and courteous. And on this occasion, I was not disappointed. My daughter decided to join me as well. We started off with drinks and appetizers with a Modelo Negra, Peach lemonade, cajun fries, garlic toast, steamed rice and garlic noodles to share. My daughter ordered the King Crab combo with Louisiana mild spice and I had the Dungeness Crab combo with the atomic spice... our orders were delivered by robot however, I'd like to give our server Soledad a big shoutout. She was very polite, attentive and made excellent recommendations for dinner. I love spice( heat) and her recommendation was spot on . Be prepared to get forearm deep when ordering a bag of Crab combo. Don't be shy about getting messy either. It's what this is what Bag O Crab is all about. We walked out of there with a tab of $183.00 and I left our server a generous tip, because I believe she provided TIP ( to insure promptness) or TIPS ( to insure proper service). Bag O Crab is a great place for dinner with friends or family... just be open minded if there's a wait time, and be open to trying something new and if your not big into crustaceans, there are other seafood options on the menu. Mix feelings about this place from the reviews, but friends said it was good and give it a try. We visited on a Friday night approx 8:30pm, we had about a 15 minute wait. They seated us in about 10 minutes. Was seated and waitress came in about 5 minutes took our drink order and came back about 10 minutes later with my water and my wife's lemonade. She took are order and explained everything and how to order. My wife and I decided to share a 1lb. Dungeness Crab, headless Shrimp (3/4 lb), 4 slices sausages, 2 corn & 2 potatoes. I added 6 more slices of sausages, 1 more corn, 1 hard boiled egg & garlic bread. I started with a cup of Clam Chowder, flavorful and hot. We decided on Mild Louisiana Sauce. Slight spicy but not bad. Overall flavor was tasty, not sure I would go hotter than mild. Corn on the cob with the flavoring was really good. Potatoes were soft, hard boiled egg was ready to eat, no shell, sausage was flavorful. The order is taken by a person, the food is delivered by a robot, then another person comes and hands you the food. The food was hot on arrival to our table. They give you gloves and wet naps, you definitely go through a lot of napkins. 2 people 1 order of Dungeness Combo plus extra corn, sausages, hard boiled egg, clam chowder & garlic bread (3 pieces) with Lemonade and water was $85.44 before tip. Meaty and not fried to hell or dry. Mango habanero (sauce) was kinda sweet and medium hot, but not my favorite, so i suggest sticking with the dry rubs and maybe getting a sauce on the side ($0.50). gumbo soup was good. kinda thick and comes with some rice inside it already. not sure if you can get it without rice, but that'd be my preference. side salad is big. read more

We fell in love with Bag o'Crab during our trip to Oregon this past summer and low and behold after looking into their other locations, they have one here too! Parking here is never an issue but the business center they're in can get quite busy with all the traffic from the other customers frequently nearby businesses. The ladies I've encountered working here are always extremely nice and the service is great every single time. We've only ever done take-out but if their take-out service is just as good as their in house service, I'll be thoroughly impressed. Our go-to order here is: 1lb. of shrimp (head on) atomic sauce (all the seasonings), mild and with sausages, potato and corn. I'm from the Bay where Boiling Crab is a big thing and I've been trying to find the likes of that and Kickin' Crab here in the 209 and Bag o'Crab has fulfilled my dreams of great seafood. I honestly don't get the hype. I was here once before with my daughter and had garlic noodles and garlic bread. It was good . I was told their bags of seafood was really good and their chicken tenders. So I ordered tonight dinner for my daughter, man & I . I ordered combo #2 with 2 hard boiled eggs. And chicken strips that came with cajun fries. I asked for a side of their hot sauce and they told me it would be $5!!!!! Crazy prices. I paid $71.84 for 1 bag of seafood and a chicken tenders meal! And they couldn't give me a hot sauce. $71.84 for 2 adults and a child . So I just paid. She did give me some spicy mayo for my chicken strips. Got home a chicken strips are limp not crispy. Not much flavor. Spicy mayo is bland not good at all. Fries were very cold and limp . I heated up in microwave and they were so limp . From others reviews I was expecting to be blown away by the chicken strips. I was not. They were soggy , small & 0 flavor . Spicy mayo was not spicy. Tasted just like mayo with maybe a couple dashes of hot sauce's. Bag was totally overrated you still had take the shell off your shrimp and crack your crab when we go to San Francisco we get the lazy man cioppino because they do that for you so it was a hell of a lot of work even getting to any meat on seafood not worth in my opinion they charge five dollars for a extra hot sauce. Wish I never got it was not worth five dollars no one even ended up eating it . I will never eat here again. read more
