Really large place with tons of seating. Alot of the things are well priced and service was really fast. Would come here again or order catering when I am in a pinch Pros Service was really fast Portion size was huge compared to price. Family pack can easily feed 4 people or more Food was well made. I liked the wedding style briyani it isn't too spicy and feels more home like. Cons Nothing much but their in person menu and the one online is a bit different

Best food I ever have, I love the biryani here since the spices are not too heavy. Chicken in the Mandi was falling of the bones and very flavorful. My favorite dish here which I get every week is the fried chicken. Service is ok, it is not bad for an Indian restaurant. The space can be more organize and clean but I usually just take home to enjoy the food.

A flavorful new find for Andhra cuisine lovers! Tried Bagara--aptly named after the South Indian tempering technique bagaar that brings dishes to life with sizzling spices--and was pleasantly surprised by the bold, homestyle flavors and thoughtful combos. The Karruvapakke Chicken Fry stood out--it's not your typical chicken fry, but a unique, aromatic blend of curry leaves and cilantro that gave it real depth. My favorite, though, was the Sambar Rice with Chicken Fry--comforting, flavorful, and just the kind of soul food I didn't know I was craving. The Chicken Tikka Masala was solid--creamy and well-spiced, though not the best I've had, still quite satisfying. This place feels like it's got heart--I'd say it's definitely worth trying, especially if you're into homestyle Andhra flavors.

A new launch where Mr. Biryani was probably previously located. The ambience is decent, with some effort spent to make the seating area standout from the average dine in. Orders are placed on the phone using a QR code on the table. Prepaid. They are one of the few unlimited non-veg thalis in the Bay Area, and the dishes the day we went did not disappoint. The roti and poori were both made fresh and tasted good. The chicken and mutton were well cooked. The shrimp was tasty. The standout dish had to be the Bagara Rice. That's a relief since so many places with "Biryani" in their name can't seem to get Biryani right. Recommended for the food. Might repeat dine in for the non veg thali. Else takeaway.

We ordered on the app. We've ordered to go twice from here. Pretty easy. The pick up time was quicker than listed both times. We got the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and naan to go. The flavors for the butter chicken & tikka masala were different than we were used to but it was warm and fresh. The chicken tikka masala had green peppers.

We've ordered from Bagara's a couple of times now via doordash. I am conflicted about the rating because there were hits and misses. I think 3.5 stars is probably fair. We've tried the Meghana Chicken Fry piece Biryani, Mutton Ghee Roast Biryani, Karvepaku Chicken Roast, Chicken 555, Mushroom Pepper Fry, and Mutton Ghee Roast, The chicken biryani was very enjoyable but the goat biryani was so-so; the mutton pieces were more bone and fat than meat and the biryani could definitely use more masala - it was a tad dry. The chicken Karvepaku was unique - crispy, spicy and flavorful - haven't tasted anything like it before. The Chicken 555 and Mushroom Pepper Fry were decent. The Mutton ghee roast was fantastic - the meat was succulent and the masala was on point. Overall, worth a try, if you are into spicy South Indian cuisine

If you're in Sunnyvale & craving a hearty, soul-satisfying Indian meal, Bagaras is the spot that delivers - literally and figuratively. We visited for their unlimited thali and also sampled a few of their biryanis, and let me tell you, it was an absolute feast! Also tried their chai which was great too. For what you get, especially with the unlimited thali, the pricing is super reasonable. Great for big appetites or family-style meals. Portions are generous even outside the thali format. skip breakfast if you're planning the thali for lunch

Any restaurant that claims to be authentic Hyderabadi kitchen should know the stakes are high. Unfortunately Bagara's failed to meet standards of a decent biryani place. So called Meghana's Fry piece biryani ( I assumed they were trying to replicate Bangalore's Iconic biryani joint) was salty and dry fried and lacks any flavor. Same goes with the biryani rice. should i have sticked to their Bagara rice and a curry? . In any case wouldn't comeback until yelp community says they turned the tables. Hope they find their feet and raise the bar to claim authenticity.

It definitely could have used the coleslaw and pickles promised by the menu but they weren't in evidence. That was the problem with the falafel wrap, too: the menu promised hummus, cabbage & tomatoes salad, and pickled turnips, but those ingredients weren't anywhere to be seen. There was some lettuce instead, but lettuce is a poor substitute as it just becomes immediately soggy and adds no flavor. If you've ever had falafel in Israel, you will be disappointed by the falafel here, unfortunately. (Israeli falafel shops each make at least a dozen toppings from family recipes, so you put as many veggies and sauces in as you can to create a flavor party in your mouth.)

This one was disappointing enough to feel worth documenting. My boyfriend and I ended up here after attempting to go to Treehouse nearby (which had an hour wait--unsurprising given the concept). This restaurant was a short walk away, which actually worked out well given how congested the area was, and we walked in optimistic. The space itself is very large, but nearly empty for a weekday evening. It felt family-owned and casual, which I usually love--many of my favorite restaurants fall into that category. Unfortunately, the experience didn't reflect that warmth. We were given a different menu than other diners, which immediately felt odd. Service wasn't overtly rude, but it was noticeably unwelcoming--almost a "why are you here?" tone rather than hospitality. We ordered hummus and feta, both of which were surprisingly expensive for the portion and quality. We were told bread would arrive automatically with the hummus, but it didn't--despite asking multiple times. When it finally arrived, it was poorly cooked and no longer served any purpose, as we were already well into the meal. Despite the restaurant being far from busy, our mains took about 30 minutes. One dish--a kebab--was fine but very forgettable for a $30+ price point. My dish, dumplings in a yogurt-based sauce, was honestly inedible. I left it untouched and mentioned that it didn't taste good. The response was simply, "Oh, so you don't want a box?" No attempt to fix the issue or even acknowledge it. What sealed it for me was the overall condition of the place. Dirty cutlery, a generally rundown interior, and a lack of attention to cleanliness made it uncomfortable to eat there. I'm not picky about ambiance when the food and service deliver--but here, nothing quite worked together. The whole experience felt very turn-and-burn, as if the restaurant relies on proximity to a popular area rather than repeat customers. I left feeling like unless you're part of a specific in-crowd, this isn't a place that's trying very hard to win you over. Personally, I wouldn't return, and I wouldn't recommend it--especially given the pricing and the many better options nearby.

The staff welcomed us in and gave us a quick introduction to their offerings. My mouth was already salivating at the sight of the golden brown pastries and at the mention of olives and cheese, I was committed! We ended up getting a coupe of their items including achmas (pastry made with sweetened dough) and pogaca (pastry made with buttery dough) - one filled with olives and one with the feta cheese. We also got a borek (pastry made with phyllo dough) with ground beef and asked to be cut up so it can be shareable. The olive achma was fragrant and soft when torn into. The olives were flavorful and distributed well within the bun. The feta cheese pogaca was flavorful and was layered into bun. I think it would have tasted even better warmed but it was delicious nonetheless. The distribution of the cheese could have been better to better fill my mouth with those flavors. The borek was a star but too heavy for one person to eat. The fried dough was crispy and paired with the ground beef made for a hearty snack to go with something warm to drink. The other pastries and entrees looked good and although we didn't have the stomach space for it this time, we know we will be back when we are in the area to try something new. Perhaps we will get to try their coffee next time! Overall, Nahita Bakery does an amazing job bringing their Turkish culture through food to the South Bay. Their quality of work is shown in the food's presentation, ingredients, and flavors and the clean open dining space elevates the dining experience here whether you're in for breakfast, lunch, a snack, or dinner.
