Central Jersey has about a dozen Bagel Bazaars, the most recent being on Rt. 33 in Hamilton, NJ. It is well appointed with mild corporate feel. Broad selection of bagels and decent breakfast and lunch menu. Coffee is self serve. Service is friendly and chatty. Nice touch, but it also took a bit longer than necessary to work my way through the line to the cashier. My requested Onion Bagel with Veggie Cream Cheese turned out to be garlic covered when I opened it at my desk. Not a major faux-pas, but not the best introduction to the business. I liked it nonetheless, but had to deal with the odor the rest of the day. This area has a growing number of bagel shops. Bagel Bazaar may have caught the wave and be timely in their attractiveness to the local populous. A little polish on the details of getting orders right will be one of the decisive factors for keeping everyone happy. 3.5 Stars for now. read more

I had a gift card and was excited to try a new place. It's centrally located, lots of parking, friendly staff, clean and nice spot. There was a little wait which is expected on a Sunday but will definitely order online next time, I saw people walk in and out who did. Lots of different cream cheese spreads, lunch sandwiches. Everything was good. For a bagel with sausage/egg, a lunch sandwich, 2 ice teas and 2 muffins $40 so a tad pricey but I'd go back. Definitely recommend! read more

I went to Bagel Bazaar in Hamilton, NJ on a weekday lunch, having heard the kind of hype usually reserved for minor miracles and medium-sized comets. I ordered a toasted egg bagel with Fresno Hot Honey Cream Cheese, because life is short and subtlety is overrated. The bagel was solid, reliable, like a good chair that does not collapse beneath you. The cream cheese had a pleasant kick, just spicy enough to remind you that you are alive, but not so spicy that you must reconsider your choices. The place itself was bright and clean, as if it had been scrubbed by people who actually still have pride in their work. The staff was friendly, which is never a bad sign. So here's the thing: everything was good. I have no complaints. And yet. This location is no better than the two other bagel places I drive past to get here. And given the choice, I will usually support the independent little guy over a chain, because that feels like the right thing to do in a confusing universe. Still, a good bagel is a good bagel. My visit here started with a friend from work giving me a bagel that wowed me. That specimen came from a different business. Bagel Bazaar was just popping up on Yelp so I decided to try them out and hopefully return the gesture to my buddy. I arrived around noon and was impressed by the well thought out set up. There are separate registers for prepared items and sandwiches, and another one for grab and go bags o bagels and spreads. A handful of people waited for their orders while I was able to go right up and select my choices. And there are a lot. I did marble, pumpernickel, Parmesan pesto, habanero cheddar and everything egg. I also got a small tub of everything cream cheese. Customer service was quick, friendly and generous with extra bagels. I liked the marble, pump and parm ones the best. As another astute reviewer stated, these were serviceable and keeping a few in the freezer seems logical. The habanero one was way too spicy for me, but that's just a personal preference. I was disappointed in the everything egg. This was the bagel I wanted to give my friend as he had given me the same from his neighborhood spot. His was amazing, very garlicky and no salt. At BB all I could taste was salt, to make matters worse the everything cream cheese had the same flavor, all salt . With plenty of other options here, those 2 bagels won't keep me away and I'll eventually restock my freezer. 3.5 stars read more

Got really cute swag at the grand opening but couldn't grab anything to eat that day. Asked my husband to go here instead of our typical Panera run today - definitely a great switch up! The bagels are perfectly crispy and not ridiculously fluffy (that usually stops me from getting bagels in the first place). Love that they have tofu cream cheese options and really different bagel and cream cheese choices (Oreo, smore cream cheese, rainbow bagels, etc). I got the jalapeño bagel (not toasted) with perfectly melty cheese and perfectly cooked scrambled eggs. Would definitely get this and which again and excited to try all of the different options. First time here and I'll definitely be back. They were quite busy so they seem popular. I stood in line maybe a few minutes before someone pleasantly took my order. I waited under 10 mins to get me and my mom's bagels. We ate inside and I love the little eating area. It is out of the way so you can eat without a lot of traffic going by. I felt cozy. The bagel was amazing and the eggs were by far the best part. They were so fluffy and fresh, with not a drop of brown on them. I was amazed! I got an everything bagel with egg and cheese on it and it was so yummy. Keep up the good work on making the eggs this way and you will have a repeat customer. I live in Hamilton and there are many bagel options to choose from and this is our go to now. I stopped in after taking my daughter to work during the snowstorm. They were open and everything was ready to go. Very friendly staff, very clean, nice seating , easy checkout , a great variety of food aside from their delicious bagels. They have serve yourself coffee as well as custom choices. I decided to visit the website and was happy to see they are proudly minority owned, have eliminated all foam products in their packaging and, they mentioned incorporating mental health awareness in the training of new team members. They also give back to the community. There is plenty of parking and even a few tables (in the shade) for those who would like to be seated outdoors. This is a great local business and I'm happy they chose to open a location here in Hamilton ! Oh, and as a thank you for being out in the storm , coffee was free today. read more

The bagels are tasty and they have ones that are well baked BUT they are way too big. I couldn't get my mouth around the breakfast sandwich I ordered. Lots of dough but the crispy outside is what saved it. They should consider a downsized version or even a flagel. read more
