This place seriously needs a deep cleaning--everything felt dirty and unkempt. The platter I received was unappetizing: just a pile of meat with overcooked eggs thrown on top. Driving by We decided to stop to get a bagel as we've never been here before. Bagels were very good. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Just the right amount of cream cheese. But the star of the show ended up being the crumb cake that we purchased at the register. The crumb to cake ratio was ridiculous in the best way possible. This is normally the GO TO weekend bagel spot. Cash only. But great bagels and breakfast sandwiches. For some reason today we waited nearly 25 min for 3 breakfast sandwiches. And when they called us one was missing. The line continued to build and more and more people were getting upset for waiting so long. The manual ordering process. Pay whenever system. Take as a many orders as possible without a POS system makes errors highly likely. It's disheartening because we frequently go here. Bagel House & More (formally known as bagels and beyond) has been under new ownership since fall of 2021. The new owner is great. I'm born and raised in NYC and these bagels can go toe to toe with almost any bagel in the big apple. If they don't have something on their menu just ask, they'll be more than happy to see if they can make it. I asked the owner what he would recommend and he said a jalapeño cheese bagel with veggie cream cheese. The bagel was soft and airy on the inside and you could taste the cheese crust with a little heat from the jalapeños. The cream cheese had awesome flavor but didn't have that dense heavy cream cheese feel. I'm going to be eating here often. read more

Let me preface by saying that this is my first visit to Bagels and Beyond. They came highly recommended from a family member, especially because of their gluten free bagels. I placed an online order last night for 4 breakfast sandwiches, 1 being a gluten free one that I was so excited to try! I received my order confirmation via email and left in the morning to pick up my order for Father's Day. Well, to my dismay - they never received my order, even after I received a confirmation that my order was received. Honestly, I felt like an idiot. Apparently the manager who gets online orders never sent it in? Huh? I get accidents happen, especially in this time of COVID, and I wanted to give them some grace, but the way you approached it and made it seem like I ordered my bagel sandwiches in LBI and not in your store left a terrible taste in my mouth. Especially considering the fact that you are doing online orders to minimize contact with customers because of COVID - get your acts together! P.S. They were fresh out of gluten free bagels. So no breakfast sandwich for me despite pre-ordering! They ended up making my sandwiches, and messed up the 3 orders I gave them. This first impression will certainly be my last. Showed up 20 minutes before close (I know I am horrible) but this pregnant lady really wanted a pork roll egg snd cheese bagel. There were no more bagels and they were closing up shop. I was totally okay with going somewhere else because I knew lol what a jackass for showing up this close to closing time. The gentleman at the front asked what I wanted, I responded and he went back and made it with no hesitation. I only give them one star because there is nothing lower. I have been here three times since the new owners took over. All three times I called ahead and arrived about ten minutes later. All three times my order was not ready and when I did receive it the hit food was already cold. I also had to wait 10/10 and 20 minutes for my food. This may have been expected if there were people in the store but all three times there were less than three people in line when I arrived. I will never go back! read more

Bagels and Beyond is the nearest bagel joint to my new office, so I was pleased to discover that they turn out a very good rounder. The shop is unassuming, but has a steady flow of business. Once I realized that parking was on the north side of the building (U-turn required), I was able to get in and out in 5 minutes. Their bagels are airy inside with a pleasant crunch and chew exterior. They know not to over knead the dough, which makes the innards too dense. They also use ample toppings (like my dried onion nibs), so if you lose a few in handling it is not a great loss. Of course, there is the great joy of dabbing the cream cheese or butter on the bagel into the windfall flakes and eating them. The folks working there are friendly and efficient. The coffee hot and fresh. The breakfast sandwiches looked good, too. B & B will become a regular stop on my breakfast circuit, especially when I need to eat at my desk. read more

There bagels are good, new ownership allowed credit cards which was great. The service which was already mediocre somehow got even worse. They get my order wrong 95% of the time, which is mind boggling. They also take a ridiculous amount of time to make a sandwich. I stopped in here early morning on the way to my grandparents house for breakfast. I got a plain bagel toasted with cream cheese. This place should not be in business. I just want to give a huge SHOUT OUT Bagels & Beyond in Yardville!! I drove all the way from Mount Laurel today to find an open bagel shop and stumbled upon this hidden gem. When it comes to the way I like my bagel prepared they had no objection to burning my bagel the way I like it. (Garlic bagel charred/blackened pretty much burnt beyond recognition with a slather of butter). They made it perfectly. I have been getting bagels here for as long as I can remember. It's close and does the job most of the time. The coffee is great. However, my order does get messed up at least 50% of the time. This morning I added three bagels: one toasted with cream cheese, one with butter and one sandwich. After waiting over 15 minutes, when I got home I realized they both had cream cheese, which I cant eat and had to throw away. SHORT REVIEW : YOU MUST EAT HERE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Long Review : My husband just stopped here this morning to grab a bagel before we headed out for the morning. Now, I pass this place every day and have never stopped in. Always see cars outside though, it just looks like a local hole-in-the-wall. I still can't vouch for the interior, as I stayed in the car when he ran in - but at 9am he said every table was full and there was a line. One bite of that bagel and I know why. He got an egg bagel that had a slice of tomato baked in, with provolone cheese and minced garlic (baked in as well). Cream cheese was his choice of spread. Now, I've never considered my husband a foodie in any way, but I suppose it took the right food. This was the best bagel either of us had ever, ever had. I love this place! The bagels are ALWAYS FRESH! They make incredible breakfast sandwiches and they have the best french toast bagels I've ever had. I'm from North Jersey, so we know bagels! These are the best bagels in Mercer County! The only downside, they only accept CASH. These days, not too many people carry cash around anymore. Slow and disorganized. Lets start with the bad. I ordered a bagel with peanut butter and a porkroll with cheese, it took 30 minutes to get my order. The staff doesn't seem to be able to multitask and take multiple orders. Instead they take one to two orders at a time while lines mount. Be aware that they are cash only, there is an ATM inside but be prepared to pay $2.50 in surcharges. Now for the good. Overall the food is good and what you would expect from a bagel shop. There is a good variety of bagels to choose from as well as a small section of doughnuts. Overall I feel this place survives by being the only bagel/breakfast place in the area. This morning I called to place an order. The girl who answered the phone was rude and acted like it was a bother to take my order. I gave her my first order (double sausage, egg and cheese on a toasted plain). She asked me to repeat it 2 mores times. I did. She then asked me for my next order. I gave it to her (turkey bacon and egg on a toasted plain). After I gave her the order, she asked me to repeat it again because she was still doing the first order! I was frustrated because she specifically asked me for my second order. I let out a sigh. To which she responded, "Are you kidding me?" and hung up! I called back and the same girl answered the phone and yelled, "Your number is blocked! Find another bagel store!". My husband and I were shocked! My husband, who casually spoke to the owner, Steve Puccio, as he waited for his order and thinking he had a pleasant rapport with him, decided to go to the store in-person to speak with him. When my husband arrived, several customers were inside. My husband asked the girl behind the counter to speak to the owner or manager. She stated she wasn't sure if they were there. My husband asked her to check. Without checking, she told him they were not there. My husband asked for the owner's phone number. She took out a piece of paper and wrote the name "Steve" and a number. As she was handing him the paper, my husband explained that he was going to complain about her. She then tore the paper up and said, "It was my number anyway!". My husband told her that she had hung up on me and she began yelling, "Your wife was the rudest person that ever called" and she was surprised that my husband hadn't had a heart attack being married to me! This was said loudly and if front of other customers! My husband pointed up to the cameras and said, "I am sure the cameras are recording this"... she announced in front of everyone AGAIN that the cameras did not work! SHE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! She continued yelling and my husband was unable to get a word in. She proceeded to tell him to "leave her store"! We have tried to give this new ownership our business! Orders are often incorrect and the workers are not friendly. I guess Bagel House thinks they are the only place to get bagels in Hamilton. I will use social media to let as many people know as I can about this horrific experience. I would HIGHLY recommend going to Caesar's Bagels and Deli (https://www.facebook.com/Caesars-Bagels-Deli-1399591753680814/) on Flock Road. They are friendly and their bagels are delicious! UPDATE: The owner contacted me and this was his response: All apologies on the mishap today from one of my employees. Even thou this year has given me more lemons than one can handle. I'm trying to uphold this little gem of a bagel store in the town throu the current circumstances. Now called the Bagel House. Haven't been in a few months, but was always my go-to bagel place. Unfortunately, when I went today, they didn't carry the same variety of bagels that they used to and this may be due to Covid, which is understandable. However, my order was incorrect when I opened it at home and the bagels did not taste fresh. While waiting for my order, 2 other orders were also incorrect. Maybe it was just a bad morning, but extremely disappointed in the quality received. Will be trying out other places now. read more
