A mini bagel boss in planned community just northwest of the LIE at exit 68. Super easy to pull off and drive right into the community - pull around the traffic circle to the front of a few cafes. We split an everything flagel. Noticed rows of thin trays of what loomed like fresh salads. It looks like they keep smaller quantities there but keep them up and fresh which is nice to see. I've tried this place 3 times. Each has been a disaster. Time 1: The employee at the counter didn't know what roast beef was. Time 2: I saw that it was under new management (less than a year after they opened), so I gave it another go. Only two employees working. The same customer was still at the counter after about ten minutes and there were more customers waiting. I left without ordering. Time 3: Unfortunately someone bought me a gift card, so I went again.. I grabbed a WARM 20oz Gatorade from the fridge and placed my order. None of the employees knew how to scan THEIR OWN GIFT CARD. I ended up having to pay with my credit card because nobody could figure it out. I didn't realize until I left that I was charged almost $5 for the Gatorade... I will keep on going to my normal spot which is Best Bagels on route 101 Sills Rd. in the IHOP shopping center.
