We split an everything flagel. Noticed rows of thin trays of what loomed like fresh salads. It looks like they keep smaller quantities there but keep them up and fresh which is nice to see. I've tried this place 3 times. Each has been a disaster. Time 1: The employee at the counter didn't know what roast beef was. Time 2: I saw that it was under new management (less than a year after they opened), so I gave it another go. Only two employees working. The same customer was still at the counter after about ten minutes and there were more customers waiting. I left without ordering. Time 3: Unfortunately someone bought me a gift card, so I went again.. I grabbed a WARM 20oz Gatorade from the fridge and placed my order. None of the employees knew how to scan THEIR OWN GIFT CARD. I ended up having to pay with my credit card because nobody could figure it out. I didn't realize until I left that I was charged almost $5 for the Gatorade... I could have stopped at 7/11 and paid half. I'll never be back. read more

The local is clean and inviting. There are a few of indoor and outdoor tables. The chicken cutlet sandwich I ordered was excellent! The decaf coffee was equally as delicious. I have been going to Bagel Boy since I'm a kid in Merrick. Always the best! They opened in Yaphank and I could not wait to try them! This was the biggest disappointment ever. Wasted $34 on one dozen bagels, one egg sandwich and two chocolate milks. It seemed like the bagels were brought there, not made there. I will keep on going to my normal spot which is Best Bagels on route 101 Sills Rd. in the IHOP shopping center.
