My husband and I were looking for another bagel place and found this one and decided to give it a try. I ordered the toasted Asiago bagel with sausage, egg, and mushrooms. My husband ordered the toasted jalapeño cheddar bagel with sausage, egg, and cheese. I am a food-loving woman and I have very high standards for flavor profiles. Well, Bagel Factory hit it out of the ball park. I'm halfway through the bagel, I'm full, BUT I feel a strong need to finish this delicious breakfast feast. Coming from NJ am very particular about my bagel AND love my pork roll. I'm done with this chain (has 3 locations). You try calling ahead for an order. You either get no answer(goes to voice mail) with no return call or mail box is full, they put you on hold and never come back or they pick up the phone and hang up on you. With today's inflation prices, who needs the attitude? Remember, you are in SC where the folks are nice. Good riddens. You lost a customer. But you don't care. read more

With over 10 years in the baking business, they are known for their bagels, breakfasts and lunches. One can find the usual breakfast fare of omelettes, pancakes, French toast, breakfast wraps, bagel sandwiches and other breakfast specialities and specials. On the lunch side, hot & cold deli sandwiches, wraps, paninis, quesadillas, burgers, soups and salads. A limited assortment of sweets and bakery items are also available. A simple setup with a couple tables outside, open interior floor with order counter, self serve coffee bar and a smattering of high top and regular tables and chair. Paper menus were located at the counter for ordering and an a variety of about a dozen bagels and a few bakery items were available. I had the egg, Taylor ham and cheese on an Asiago bagel. I've given this place too many chances. They consistently messed up my orders. I can think of one visit out of probably 8-10 that my order was correct and filled in a timely manner. One THREE occasions I was given another customers order and luckily by the second time I learned that I need to check it while in the store so I can try to stop my order from walking out with another customer and waiting 30 minutes for them to make another order. The bagel factory does live up to their name, they have great bagels, and great coffee. Sadly that is about the only good thing. I got a platter with eggs, bacon, and potatoes. The potatoes and bacon were cold the bacon tasted like it was cooked yesterday and served today and the same goes for the potatoes. The service is slow and the bagels are mediocre at best. Employees seem to be very worried about their cell phones rather than the customers. The bagels definitely wasn't cooked today. I got home, and the by the time the bagel was toasted for the sandwich it was burnt. There was only one egg (also burnt.. It was a Sunday morning so I know that they're going to be busy but seriously 45 minutes on bagels is completely insane and their answer is "it's coming we're slammed."
