Lox Spread on toasted sourdough. $7. Wasn't stoked with the amount... for $7.

Should have checked review first.. I don't recall this place being like this. Has there been a change in ownership or management? This was my $7 bagel with lox spread. Not lox... lox spread. It's more than other flavored spreads, understandable. But, was shocked at the tad I was given. When asked to confirm, the guy quickly affirmed, "yup, that's the amount..." I would have been at least concerned a customer immediately questioned the finished product. But, this is what they ride on.. so, now I know and we all have choices. I'll choose to not going forward. Gave it an extra star cause the bagel was at least good. But, the quick dismissal of my interaction left a bad taste in my mouths, couldn't add a 3rd. It's too bad.. our service industry is declining.

Fast friendly service, delicious well-toasted sesame bagel, and lovely scallion schmear. Passed by here tons but never ate here until today.

This place is very delicious. They make their pizza supreme bagels, totally different than I've ever had I keep telling myself I'm gonna try something different but I keep ordering the same thing. I'm sure everything that is on their menu is delicious.!

    Single Bagel

Breakfast bagel sandwiches are decent but don't bother with a bagel and cream cheese. It's insulting honestly. Burnt with barely any cream cheese. Get a couple bagels and a small side of cream cheese and make it yourself. You'll get ripped off otherwise.

jalapeño cheddar sausage breakfast bagel! Tasty and the right amount with some McDonalds hash browns where it was buy one get one free. Depending on what time of day you go, be prepared to have other bagel selections in mind because they do sell out!

Deceptive pricing. Menu board completely confusing. Worst bagel I've ever eaten. Apparently toasted doesn't mean toasted here, barely warm. Lesson learned just won't come again

Overpriced $16 Lox bagel with bad customer service included at no extra charge!

I opted for the vibrant red rose. It tasted exactly like a flavorless sponge drenched in l milk. Not even a hint of rose. Incredible, the white icing was equally flavorless, although it looked beautiful, with a sprinkling of dried rose petals. The overall effect was like eating a piece of cake that had fallen in a puddle of milk - with dried leaves in the icing. I had three bites and then told them guy behind the counter that it had no flavor and all he could offer was "I'm sorry". For $8 and no offer to make it right, it was a really bad experience and I would never go there again.

I was really disappointed that there wasn't a single to go food option that was vegan or vegetarian (and when I asked the cashier he seemed disgusted I would even ask about it). Fortunately, they do carry almond and soy milks so I went for the tropicalicious smoothie with almond milk (which was very heavy on the banana) while someone else got the banana peanut. The peanut butter one was definitely the better choice! It was like a peanut butter banana sandwich from childhood in a drink! They have quite a few grab and go options which would be great for a commuter or someone out running errands but unfortunately they are not inclusive choices. Inclusivity is important to everyone and I would love to see them start to carry things for our vegetarian/egg allergy/milk allergy/vegan folks. All in all it's a nice little spot to grab a coffee from and I'd be willing to go there again for a quick coffee but definitely not a place I would enjoy staying a while at.

Wonderful single origin coffees available -pour over style as well as a variety of various espresso drinks, and tea. In the back is the master roaster machinery, and a nice lounge with pinball machines to hang out in and create conversation with other patrons. The staff is real knowledgeable and real personable and frequently make me laugh, and they know their product very well and will share information with the consumer. It's OK to ask a question and they won't yell at you if you want cream in your coffee. They do keep it behind the counter in the refrigerator, by request only. For some reason, coffee always taste better to me on site than at home. Maybe it's the temperature of the water, maybe it's just the ambience and the brief conversation? I don't know but I prefer to have my cup outside of the home. I'm a rather social being. The owner has a knack for hiring, competent, talented and friendly staff! I ordered an iced mocha with oat milk during a busy time and waited about 20-30 minutes. While I was waiting, I noticed several customers who ordered after me received their drinks. I went up to the counter to ask about my order, and the cashier seemed confused. The barista remembered making my drink and believed someone may have accidentally taken it since there had been a drink sitting on the pickup counter for a while. The barista told me he would remake my drink and even offered the drink to another customer instead of discarding it. However, he continued making other orders before remaking mine. Just as I was about to ask for a refund, I finally received my coffee. I understand that mistakes happen, especially during busy periods, but better communication and order tracking would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, my first experience left a bad impression. As much as I liked the atmosphere, I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this coffee shop based on the service I received.

We bought the beans in the summer during a sale and recently started using them. My wife and I began noticing effects of caffeine from drinking it (jittery, anxious, over excited, insomnia, etc.) immediately. We both enjoy coffee but are sensitive to caffeine so look for the best decaf beans from specialty roasters. We've used decaf beans from various roasters (we had a Trade Coffee subscription that introduced us to other roasters) and haven't had these concerns. After drinking the Decaf Shakeout I once again tried a number of decaf beans from other roasters and local coffee shops just to make sure it wasn't me. Then when I went back to Decaf Shakeout I felt the caffeine effects again. At that point I reached out to customer service. They asked me send back a sample, which I did. Within hours of their receiving my sample they said the coffee director inspected them and said they are decaf. They wrote back, "So it sounds like the jittery feeling you experienced may have been from something other than caffeine in this case." That's after they said they don't have any way to test the caffeine levels--so the director looked at them? They said the coffee director "tried" them but the sample I received back looked about the same as the amount I sent. I doubt they brewed it, just assumed I was wrong. I felt dismissed despite my explaining the elaborate process I went through to isolate the experience I'd been having with their beans. I received no refund or any consideration of my concern--so I'm out $96. It's been bothering me so I decided to write a review. I won't buy Equator Coffee ever again because their decaf beans made me sick, and the customer service is robotic and not to be believed.
