I've picked up food for my boss from here a few times. Including hero sandwiches. Until today everything was good. Today I ordered an egg sandwich with meat and cheese on a hero for my boss. Let's just say he was not happy. He said the hero bread was stale and he bit into an egg shell after separating the eggs and meat from the bread. Please use fresh bread when making heroes because you charge extra for a hero. Also asked for an extra egg and the amount definitely didn't look like there was extra. Please make sure no egg shells end up in the eggs too. It is very triggering to bite into cooked eggs and feel a crunch when it shouldn't be crunchy. Very disappointed in this visit. read more

If you value quality and your order to be correct, DO NOT COME HERE. I ordered food from here on two separate occasions and they messed-up 3 times. The first time I ordered, I asked for an egg everything bagel, and they gave me just an egg instead. The second time, I ordered a bagel with onion and tomato -- on my bagel there was no onion, no tomato. Strike two. Finally, on that same order, I got two hash browns, and they only gave me one. It wasn't even busy at these times. I think their staff is pretty new and inexperienced. To make things worse, I came here once to do some work, and the manager actually sent a worker over to kick us out because I spent too much time there... They said I would need to order more food if I wanted to stay. It wasn't even busy... And honestly, the food isn't even that great to begin with. The quality is pretty mid. If you're craving a bagel, just save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. The inside ambiance is nice though, I'll give them that. Hope this helps y'all! read more

Super disappointed. It's very close to where I live and after Christmas I placed an order for mini bagels...4-5 days in advance. When I placed the order they asked "assorted including blueberry" I said could I get Cinnamon Raisin? The person that I spoke with asked their manager and the manager agreed. I picked them up...No blueberry and No Cinnamon Raisin. Tried this cute looking spot for the first time today.. ended up throwing out my entire bagel w/cream cheese. After the girl at the register suggested I toast it because it had been sitting out, it must have also been dropped on the floor without anyone thinking that was a problem because there was hair & dust all over it. I'm a big gelato fan, I was so happy to see a new gelato store in the neighborhood. They have so many flavors, I tried vanilla, chocolate, "baklava" gelato and melon flavored one, they all were great, very delicious, no artificial taste, sweetness was perfectly balanced not overwhelmingly sweet with a silky & smoothy texture.. Came here for gelato with my husband and 3 kids and was not disappointed! They had a bunch of flavors that all looked delicious. The man at the counter was very kind and helpful and let us try as much as we wanted before deciding which flavor we wanted. All of us got something different and we all loved what we got. I was excited to try the new place here in Lake Grove. Unfortunately it was a total disappointment. It took over 20 minutes for them to make a grilled chicken sandwich. This is really odd but the chicken wasn't grilled...they pan fried it. It was rubbery. On top of that the single grilled cutlet they used was maybe 4oz., really small. It fit on one half of the roll they put it on. The lettuce and tomato were fine, they hardly put any mayo on the sandwich which resulted it in tasting quite dry. The cost was definitely not worth the wait or the sandwich itself. Bummer, it's close by and convenient but not worth it at all. Hope they improve from top to bottom over time. read more

The customer service was immaculate. The girl who took my order was very patient and informative. I give props to the young people in there because it seemed a bit stressful for them to be handling so many tasks at once. The wait time is the only downside I had, which is also why I did not give 5 stars. Many people are in a rush in the morning and need something quick. Seems like they're still learning a lot though, they're new. My sandwich was good I don't really have anything bad to say about the food. Give it a try but just be weary, call your order in ahead of time or go during a downtime. read more
