    HUGE sandwich

Very friendly little spot! We were passing through, needing to access the Pensacola airport - we were just looking for a quick bite to eat in the morning. This is a cute place within 10 minutes of the airport! Service was quick and very kind!! We aren't from the south but something we noticed is the customer service (and people in general) is often much better in the south!! A welcomed reprieve! The bagels were HUGE and very tasty! I ordered the crunch breakfast sandwich that came with chips on it! So fun!!

Great place with great bagels. Staff was really nice. Wait was around 10 minutes on a weekend. And the bagel was really really good. Coffee was decent still really good. We'll definitely be back.

I have been waiting for a good bagel for a while. Definitely check this place out, but be forewarned about the long wait. I came in a little after 10 AM and there was a wait. Either come in earlier if you can or order online then pick it up there. Very chill atmosphere and fabulous place to either get brunch or catch up with a friend. Plenty of seating with a great view of the water. I ended up getting a sausage, egg, and cheese bagel. Fun surprise, it has spicy mayo! Such a tasty combo. I had it with an everything bagel, which just wrapped the crunchy goodness with it. Topped it off with a lavender latte (which was pipping hot when I got it), nothing too spectacular to report on the coffee. Delicious bagels with friendly workers! I will have to try the lox next time.

    Great bagel selection!

best bagel spot in the area - big squishy ones with ample smear! make sure to their early though otherwise your selection dwindles dramatically. staff service depends on the day unfortunately, and the coffee wouldn't make me holler. vibes fit the space and location - chillaxed beachtown.

First time. Salmon bagel. Great atmosphere. I'll be back. My wife and I could have shared one.

    bagel heads!

The wonderful young woman, Ariana, at the cash register was absolutely amazing. Incredibly kind, great worker, and made my day 10x better! Will 100% be coming back to this location due to the amazing customer service provided and timely service!

Ordered sausage egg & cheese on sesame seed bagel with drip coffee. The bagel was $1.99. Making the sandwich with it added $8. There was a choice of several kinds of cheese. I chose pepperjack. They were out of drip coffee (on the menu for $3.50), so I had a latte for $5. I thought they should give a discount for having to get the upgraded beverage, but I didn't say anything. The bagel and sandwich were really good. There a selection of over a dozen types of bagels, and croissants, too. It seems a little pricey for the UWF students, but if the target market is the morning rush coming over the causeway from Pace, it's probably not bad. There was a staff of 5 (probably UWF) students working at the time. Service was quick and efficient. Seating was comfortable and outlets were nearby for device plug-in. They had wi-fi, but had to ask for the password. I'll go again to try the spinach parmesan bagel with apple walnut smear.

They have a drive through that takes 30 mins to get coffee. They should tell you if there is a massive wait.

Having a good service background, my husband and I are always understanding when a place is training staff - everyone starts somewhere. But what makes a difference is that everyone still had a smile on their face no matter how overwhelmed they may have felt! We've never received anything BUT great service. The food is delicious and came out fairly quickly considering it was a busy Saturday. We talked with the owner who's owned the place for the last 8 years and they try hard to preserve the restaurant. He shared that the bar top stools were the original nickel stools, they had the original coffee machines and the original grill/stovetop. Their goal is to make updates to the restaurant while still keeping some of the history, which I feel is really special.

"It's been on the table a while he should have said something sooner" It was absolutely gross, and I tried to eat it. It just kept leaking more oil like the deep water horizon. You wouldn't have eaten either if you saw it. Looking for decent cheese grits, seeming great staff try it. DO not order the omelette, if you do bring some oil dry.

While I initially rated the customer service a 7/10, it became clear that the professionalism of the establishment was lacking. When our food arrived, I was shocked to find hair in both my wife's dish and one of my friend's meals, which made for a very unpleasant dining experience. We promptly informed our server, who communicated our concerns to the manager, Rita. However, we found ourselves waiting longer than expected for her to address the issue. Ultimately, we had to seek her out ourselves, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. Rita offered to either remake our meals or remove them from the bill, but let's be clear--no one is inclined to pay or leave a tip for food they cannot eat. I also want to address Ron's response to our concerns. Rather than displaying empathy, it felt more like a defensive reaction as he was upset we did not leave a review for food we didn't pay for. The lack of professionalism in his response only added to our disappointment. It's crucial for management to handle such issues with care and urgency to ensure a positive dining experience. I hope the team at Another Broken Egg can learn from this feedback and improve their service for future guests.

It was also nice seeing them interact with their regulars--it definitely feels like a neighborhood coffee shop with a loyal following. I ordered the Poe Iced along with a slice of the carrot coffee cake. The coffee cake was outstanding--rich, moist, with fantastic icing, and tasted like a quality homemade dessert. The Poe Iced was good, but it wasn't quite as complex or memorable as I expected from a coffee house with such a strong reputation. In hindsight, I probably should have tried one of their seasonal specialties instead of sticking with a classic drink. My only real complaint is the drive-thru, which was a bit awkward to get into, so I ended up parking and walking inside. Thankfully, the welcoming atmosphere more than made up for that inconvenience. Will I be back? Absolutely. One thing I've learned about independent coffee shops is that they're always worth a second visit. Sometimes it takes trying a different drink to really appreciate what makes them special. While Drowsy Poet didn't quite blow me away on my first visit like a few other coffee houses have, it's still a very good café and easily a step above the typical chain options like Starbucks, Dutch Bros, or 7 Brew.

Whether going to a gate or deplaning, there aren't too many food options. In this situation, I was deplaning and the snacks served on two Southwest segments did not amount to a meal. I was hungry. I spotted this Epstein Brothers Bagels on the way out of the concourse, right before going down the escalators to street level. It's a name I know. I'm not really a fan, except of the store in Fort Lauderdale's downtown and financial area at Broward Blvd. and Federal Highway. That's because that store has the entertaining "everything and the kitchen sink" dynamic of South Florida. I ordered a chicken sandwich on a ciabatta roll and a small plastic bottle of orange juice. It wasn't as high as some airport's prices, but definitely higher than what I recall Epstein Brothers on terra ferma charging. The small sandwich was served warm, its ingredients were good, and a bottle of orange juice is a bottle of orange juice. The store wasn't particularly crowded at mid-day, so I was attended to quickly. The service was forgettable, so that means there were no issues. The store is clean and gets a lot of borrowed illumination from the well-lit concourse.
