You can get a number of cream cheese options or other toppings, and their lox has that phenomenal smoked flavor. The Lox Works, complete with cream cheese & capers, can be done on your choice of bagel. In fact, any of the breakfast sandwiches can be done how you want it, and there are literally a million combinations. There's plenty of seating inside & even outside, so you can enjoy the view of the placid gulf as it laps up to Pensacola Beach while enjoying your breakfast. Bagelheads even offers their own roast coffee blend, called 'Mac Daddy', and it's a very robust cup of coffee. Craving AWEFUL food and even WORSE service, then come to Bagelheads! I swore after seeing the bugs and dirt that I'd never return, but lo and behold figured I'd give it another try after the "revamp." Spoiler alert...just as bad!!! Bad doesn't even begin to describe this place. Want to see the dumbing down of America on full display...just come here to watch the employees in action. Ever wondered what food service looks like without management...again, have a look here. In a tale as old as time, order was misplaced, food was cold, and no shits by the staff (other than a piss poor attitude) were given. 20 minutes for cold egg bites and a toasted bagel (that wasn't toasted) with butter (not melted), all for only having 2 people order in front of me. Coffee urns are never changed out, and always empty and/or cold. The only this they're able to do consistently well is to turn the iPad around when paying and expect a tip! Save yourself the time, trouble and money...GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! There are too many good eating establishments in this town to continue supporting this miserable, pathetic excuse of an eatery. Waited in line on a weekend for about ten minutes. Issue was they took 20 minutes to get our order done for a few bagel sandwiches. I honestly don't get the hype here. I hate to add a negative review but the last few times we've been in, the quality has gone significantly downhill. Bagels used to be fresh and soft with gobs of cream cheese. The eggs were fresh and good and breakfast sandwiches were great. The last two times we've been, the bagels have been hard, the breakfast sandwich we got was pitiful and the bagel and cream cheese was hard and dry with not much cream cheese. Additionally, the last 2-3 times we've ordered takeout, the order has been wrong or missing pieces. Very frustrating to get home and have the wrong order or missing items. We used to love this place and would go every time we're in town but I don't know that we will be back after the last few experiences. read more

Very friendly little spot! We were passing through, needing to access the Pensacola airport - we were just looking for a quick bite to eat in the morning. This is a cute place within 10 minutes of the airport! Service was quick and very kind!! I have been waiting for a good bagel for a while. Definitely check this place out, but be forewarned about the long wait. I came in a little after 10 AM and there was a wait. Either come in earlier if you can or order online then pick it up there. Very chill atmosphere and fabulous place to either get brunch or catch up with a friend. Plenty of seating with a great view of the water. I ended up getting a sausage, egg, and cheese bagel. Fun surprise, it has spicy mayo! Such a tasty combo. I had it with an everything bagel, which just wrapped the crunchy goodness with it. Topped it off with a lavender latte (which was pipping hot when I got it), nothing too spectacular to report on the coffee. Delicious bagels with friendly workers! I placed a to go order online this morning. My first order at Bagelheads. It included a dz assorted bagels, a Bacon club bagel, and a bagel sandwich with cheddar cheese. Because online didn't show any everything bagels, they threw in a couple of everything bagels free. I placed the order at 9:15 on a busy Sunday morning, it says will be ready between 10:00-10:20 am. This is my favorite place! When I was pregnant, it's all my baby craved (yes... gestational diabetes followed ). When it's been a hard week at work, this is my go-to pick-me-up for coworkers. It gives total "wow factor" vibes when someone tries it for the first time. And now I have one more reason to love Bagelheads -- the service!! Ordered sausage egg & cheese on sesame seed bagel with drip coffee. The bagel was $1.99. Making the sandwich with it added $8. There was a choice of several kinds of cheese. I chose pepperjack. They were out of drip coffee (on the menu for $3.50), so I had a latte for $5. I thought they should give a discount for having to get the upgraded beverage, but I didn't say anything. The bagel and sandwich were really good. There a selection of over a dozen types of bagels, and croissants, too. It seems a little pricey for the UWF students, but if the target market is the morning rush coming over the causeway from Pace, it's probably not bad. There was a staff of 5 (probably UWF) students working at the time. Service was quick and efficient. Seating was comfortable and outlets were nearby for device plug-in. They had wi-fi, but had to ask for the password. I'll go again to try the spinach parmesan bagel with apple walnut smear. read more

Went in for a quick bite before I had to return to work i ordered an egg and cheese bagel, a cinnamon bagel, and a matcha. My egg and cheese came out fine could use more salt but overall fine, my cinnamon bagel came out cold and uncut after i asked for it to be cut in to two pieces and then when i was waiting for my drink i noticed the person making the drinks doesn't wear gloves even after touching multiple items and their phone. read more

I frequently visit Pensacola and always pass by this small spot called BagelHeads when crossing the bridge. Today, I decided to stop and see what they offer. It's disappointing when you don't even get the chance to try the food before reviewing it. Clearly, the service is terrible. No one greets you, and I stood there for 10 minutes while everyone simply looked at you. Don't bother visiting this place if you expect good service. When you're paying over $10 for a bagel, take your money elsewhere--try Nola's or another place that truly values your business. For our first day in Pensacola, we decided to go out and get breakfast. We wanted something quick and easy so that we could get our day started. We decided on Bagelheads because we figured you can't go wrong with bagels. Though I must admit, that being from New York, it is always a bit of a risk to try bagels outisde of the Big Apple. There was a bit of a wait around 8am, but there was a posting asking for patience because they have been short staffed. We took our time and figured out what we wanted. Unfortunately, there were a lot of items which were sold out, so my husband didn't get to try to the bagelzone he was hoping for. The wait after we ordered wasn't too long, and they brought out the food to the table. The bagels were a little dry - definitely not as chewy as I would have liked. The honey butter was overly sweet and not the best. My husband's sandwich was ok. My egg cup wasn't exactly what I was expecting - I was thinking eggs scrambled in a skillet and then put into a cup. What I got was a microwaved up of egg with bacon and veggies. If I had known this was what I was getting, I would probably not have ordered it because the bacon wasn't cooked well and the egg was microwaved egg textured. I have always had a good experience until the past couple months. I have received the wrong bagel multiple times after paying for the correct one. Today is what really did it for me, I waited 30 minutes for a bagel with cream cheese for it to be incorrect. I was told they put it in wrong however i have it correctly on the receipt. Really cute and well maintained dining area, they're just having efficiency struggles. The low point was the restroom experience, it was like a dim dark alley. Get a lava lamp in there or something if you want a moody vibe. The scariest part is you can't see how dirty it is when it's dark like that.
