Went there today and there is a young woman with braces taking my order. I asked her for a bagel with eggs and Munster cheese and a chocolate chip cookie. This was part of a small complex. There were a few tables to sit at and the ordering was done at the counter. The service was okay as the line moved fairly quick. They had a number of different options ranging from bagels to sandwiches to baked goods. The prices were a little steep and there were a lot of add on costs to certain items I noticed. I had an onion bagel with pork roll, egg, and cheese (Around $6). The bagel was not very flavorful and was small. There was a good amount of the pork roll, egg and cheese, which was cooked all appropriately. It was decent at best. Will I go back? Probably not. read more

It looked like a plain bagel, hardly any seasoning. The bagel was soft, toppings were decent but what turned me off, (besides the lack of seasoning), was the amount of butter it was drenched it. This is currently my go-to spot to get bagels in Hillsborough. I've never had any issues with service but you should be advised that this bagel shop gets busy as ever on the weekends. Bagels 4 U was my second favorite hometown bagel place (I was always partial to Bagel Barn in Montgomery). Having said that, I do think a lot of the ratings here solely regarding service are somewhat unfair. The place itself is run by two older ladies who primarily speak English as their second language. That generally means that you'll need to be not just methodical with ordering so that you get everything you ask for, but patient so that your order is processed accurately, no matter how long it takes. Shameful that people don't do this. In fact, I came in on a Sunday, when I expected the place to be zoo-like, only for everything to be moderately busy. I ordered an everything flagel (flat version of a bagel) with low fat scallion cream cheese, and the staff was friendly, asked me several times to ensure that my order was accurate, and quickly fulfilled the request. In return, I got a tasty, flavorful, fresh bagel jam-packed with cream cheese like I asked for. Lessons learned? Be patient and accommodating to others and they will provide you with what you need, and give criticism where it's due. I will always come back to Bagels 4 U as a result of that. read more

No. So, after walking across the parking lot with coffee streaming down my hands and then cleaning up the mess. I get to work and I couldn't tell the difference between the plain and everything. There was hardly anything on top! Only when I split the bagel in half did I realize I had the wrong one, switched bagels, and bit in. I immediately noticed how warm it was as the cream cheese oozed everywhere. The bagel tasted like sourdough bread, not what I wanted. The bagels here are tasty. Nothing too fancy, but good versions of the classics - blueberry, cinnamon raisin, and jalapeno, which is one that I suppose you don't always see at bagel places. They have some pretty cool breakfast items as well, including a sandwich called a Bagel Bomb. This and the other locations used to have amazing bagels but over the last two years they have been awful. The bagels are always hard and they always get orders wrong. The chocolate chip cookies are hard as rock. I have reached out to them about the problems and they don't seem to care. More recently, my wife got an egg and cheese sandwich with an eggshell inside the size of a quarter. We were long gone at that point so I sent them an email and I didn't even get an apology. I can't go here anymore, it really sucks. In addition, the ordering process is chaos. Just a terrible experience overall. Avoid it at all costs. Would give negative stars if I could. read more

This place has great bagels, but their service is pretty bad. Half the time they ask you 3-4 times what your order is again, or they just mess it up. For example, today I ordered a bagel with butter and jelly and received a bagel with the smallest trace of jelly, you could barely even see it. Definitely couldn't taste it. Update: today I ordered peanut butter and jelly and was given cream cheese and jelly... They also need to separate the line into two lines: people who want breakfast sandwiches and people who only want loose bagels/ bagels with cream cheese, butter, jelly, whatever. I don't want to give them any stars because today was my first time visiting this locations and I'm left unhappy. I ordered a French toast bagel and tip them $2 for a $3 bagel - feeling quite generous today. I was so excited to eat this bagel because I've heard such great things. Unfortunately, I get to work to find out it's the wrong bagel. I asked for it to be scooped out and it wasn't at all and it was a blueberry bagel. I call and all I get is an "I'm sorry". I am soooooooo mad that I may just drive there to either get my money back and my correct bagel. There was no one there this morning so there should not have been an issue. And, almost $20 for 2 SEC on a bagel...really? I went there yesterday and there were 5 people behind the counter and lots of confusion about orders, some of which has to be blamed on the language barrier. It takes forever for them to understand what you want, then a few more minutes for them to write it down and then you just wait and wait until they get their act together to finish your order. It wasn't even crowded when I went in there yesterday - what I thought was a crowd when I got there was actually the number of people waiting for their order.
