The best bagels I have in a while. Excellent egg sandwich's..always fresh and delicious. Excellent selections.

small - chewy bagel - I ordered a bagel with butter. I'm glad I opened it on my way home because the amount of butter (which is an extra $1.50) could not even be detected on the bagel. I went back and they were not at all kind or apologetic - they made me a new bagel - while I was waiting for it, the lady behind the counter started complaining to another customer how some people like their butter 1/2 inch thick - I just wanted mine to be able to be seen/tasted. I always go to Stone Bridge (the best) but I was in that parking lot for something else, and their bagels used to be great! Never again Jim's! read more

Whenever my family wants real bagels, I go to Jim's Bagels. I note the other review that complained Jim's are "small and chewy". I grew up on NYC bagels and I applaud Jim's for not giving in to the craze for puffy bagels that are more like white bread rolls than bagels - or heaven forbid oreo, fruit loop, or chocolate bagels. read more

I decided to stop here for a bagel and they did not disappoint. There was a lot of staff and they were all helpful and friendly behind the counter. They do have an extra charge for paying with a credit card. I got an everything bagel and it was fantastic. Keeps the report of Jersey bagels being good true. read more

Good food, good service, quick, and tasty. If they have their crumb cake or apple fritters, you should get one. They're delicious.

I always went out of my way to go here, but lately there service sucks. When I order a bagel with cream cheese i expect to be able to see and taste the cream cheese. This is a dry bagel and not worth the money I paid. read more

Not a bad spot, but virtually every nearby bagel place is better. I came here today and grabbed a breakfast sandwich (on an everything bagel) as well as a plain bagel with butter and jelly. I wanted an egg everything for my breakfast sandwich but they were sold out, which was kind of understandable given that I was there near closing. The breakfast sandwich was fine - the bagel was pretty tasty but the cheese wasn't really melted properly, so that was kind of a drag. The plain bagel was also OK but not amazing. Service was decent enough but the guy struck me as being a tiny bit unfriendly. Anyway, given the surplus of bagel shops in the area, not sure when / if I'll be coming back here. read more

Been passing this place for years, finally went I n to see what they had, my husband was looking for a specific bagel, yep they had it! We have gotten different bagels there and all are fresh and very good. We both like them with lox or whitefish and everything is fresh. The staff is polite and professional, and friendly. Traditional local bagel shops are hard to come by. They do not disappoint! We often get the porkroll, egg and cheese sandwich. It is absolutely a NJ thing and it's delicious here! There is usually a short line when we come (weekend mornings) but that's good because everyone thinks it's good too! read more

WOW. IDK why as soon as I bit my bagel I felt I needed to come rate it with a 5 star review!!! Just a toasted plain bagel with cream cheese and the taste of the bagel is perfect. Already wanna go back to buy a whole dozen and I will tomorrow. The simplicity of a good plain bagel can be make or break depending on the recipe & I've had some disappointing bagels. Nice little shop. Very ordinary bagels. Too bread-like. Not airy enough. Nary a baked onion flake on an Onion Bagel! Unforgiveable. But, the staff is friendly and have a nice casual approach to customers. Still haven't found the bagel kitchen around here that makes their rounders with the right consistency. Still have to return to Yardley's Bagel Train for anything approaching a true New Yawk bagel. Luckily, I still live in West Jersey (Bucks County), and only a few minutes from the B Train. This place was a disappointment. Since Central Perk closed, I've been looking for a good bagel place. The only good think about this place is the cream cheese. The bagels are small, flat, and have a poor texture. The price is very good, but I guess you get what you pay for. This place definitely used to be 5 stars. Not sure what happened. Seemed like the workers that were normally there left and now it's gone downhill. Food is messy and not neatly wrapped so it's a complete mess to eat. Sandwiches used to come with sides and now even when I ask it's not given in the bag. Cleanliness has gone way down. Was very excited to come here for breakfast with my boyfriend. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese and the bagel was smaller than the "average size bagel" - almost half the size of abnormal bagel. This is still my favorite bagel shop in the area! I usually drive about 15 minutes to get here so it's not like it's right around the block. I occasionally surprise my family in South Jersey with these delicious bagels and I am received with smiles and hugs. Jim's makes the best Everything bagel because the "everything" topping is coated on both sides of the bagel but also not in a way that's overwhelming. The shop itself is small so even if there are just a few people in the shop it feels crowded. Check the store times because they close early (I have been left at times bagel-less and hangry). read more

What a terrible service. Not the first time my order gets messed up and I am discovering somebody else's sandwich when I get home but this time I said to myself enough is enough. Was there this morning ordered bialy with egg salad, received God know what but not the egg salad. Will not drive back 15 minutes to get it replaced. Called store 5 times - phone just ringing and ringing. Since Jim sold the store that place continue to go downslope. My last time in this store and would not recommend to anyone. read more

I had high hopes for this place: tidy little shop with friendly service. However, the bagel wasn't very good. In fact, it was actually burnt on the bottom (it wasn't toasted). Overall, pretty bland. It's refreshing when you enter a business and the gentleman behind the counter gives you a warm welcome and proceeds to ask if you are a Giants fan or an Eagles fan and puts on the proper game on the TV. I ordered a pork roll, egg & cheese on cinnamon raisin bagel and a plain egg & cheese bagel. Both were delicious and made with real fried eggs and super fresh bagels unlike the DD in the same shopping center. Duhlicious if you are in the area. Highly recommend. The bagels are good, although not mind-blowing. The prices are very reasonable and the service is speedy. This place is right around the corner from me, so it's a great place to stop and get a quick bite to go. What makes this place five stars is the people. The folks who work here are so nice and accommodating, and it has a really friendly, family atmosphere. I'm an owner of 16 franchises so I consider myself an expert source in the area of customer service. The biggest compliment any of my customers can pay is repeat business. I will NEVER repeat business here. Why? Order accuracy! I received the wrong sandwich despite being very clear with the young lady across the counter. When I stated I didn't order Pork roll she preceded with the transaction and told me my sons bagel was on the house. The correct approach would have be to fix my sandwich and charge me full price for everything I ordered. This was a missed opportunity to "make it right". Bottoms line: I paid $7.00 for a bagel with cream cheese, chocolate milk and pork roll egg and cheese. I left there hungry because I threw the sandwich away while I was walking out door. I know how hard it is to own a brick and mortar establishment so I truly wish them continued success. That said I hope they read this with the take away that customers don't always want free items. Do you have one job and one job only turkey and cheese with mayo on a Kaiser roll how can you fuck that up?

My job just moved me to Robbinsville so I've been exploring the food options recently. Bagel Loft is about a 5 minute walk away. For $4 I got a sausage egg and cheese on a super cinnamon raisin bagel. The eggs were cooked right, cheese was melted, and although the sausage appeared to be burnt it had fine taste and was delicate to the bite. I hate eating a breakfast sandwich and the entire thing falls apart 2 bites in. I never thought I'd have so much to say about a breakfast sandwich, but I can't stop typing. The bagel itself was a liiiiiitle bit small but was really fresh and instead of having to rip at it I was able to bite right through. I've found my breakfast spot. read more
