We happened to be in the area and decided to treat ourselves to some bagels. Super nice staff, easy to order, and we didn't have to wait too long. There's something for everyone on the menu whether you want savory or sweet. Their blueberry cream cheese is elite! I'm still dreaming of it and wish this place was closer to me! They also have other cream cheese flavors like cookie dough, strawberry, and offer samples if you can't decide. There are a few tables and chairs if you want to enjoy your food in the shop. This take-out shop in the corner of a small shopping center is popular for good reason. The bagels are outstanding, served fresh and warm in a wide variety of flavors -- sesame, salt, poppyseed, egg, whole-grain, plain, everything, you name it. Even French toast! The shop offers a nice range of cream-cheese schmears, with vegetable our favorite. Even on a mid-summer weekday morning, there can be a line out the door. But the friendly and efficient staff moves things along quickly. I've given this place so many chances. I always end up disappointed. They made my bagel wrong. I asked for sausage and egg with ketchup, but they put cheese and no ketchup after specifically saying no cheese. Their bagels are just ok. There's really nothing special about the spot. I feel like the customer service is just average. If there were spots nearby they would really struggle, but it's the only bagel spot in this area so it makes sense why the reviews look the way they do. Moving forward i'll take an extra 15 mins to drive elsewhere or wait until almafis opens their bagel spot. read more

I stopped in here for an emergency coffee in the afternoon and was pleasantly surprised that the decaf was quite fresh. There was still a lot of traffic for the afternoon so I guess the coffee kept flowing. Coffee is self-serve and you pay at the counter. I had to give this place a try when I was in the area. Being the bagel connoisseur that I am, I wanted to see the hype about this highly-rated bagel shop. I came in around noon on a weekday. The space isn't huge, so there were a few customers lined up waiting for orders. While the shop was pretty full, I was served by a friendly employee immediately. The selection of bagels was pretty standard, so I decided to go for an Asiago Bagel toasted with Scallion Cream cheese. My order came to a bit over 3 dollars, which is nice to see nowadays when simple bagels have gone up significantly in price. The employee at the register was very friendly while ringing up my order and made sure to greet me nicely on my way out. My bagel was ready in 5 minutes, which I was very happy to see. I was in the middle of a few errands, so I took it to my car to eat on the go. It was wrapped tightly in a piece of foil to make sure every part was prevented from making any mess. In terms of the bagel size, I think this one was spot on. It had the perfect balance of being large enough for a sandwich, but small enough to get a good bite in without almost choking. It was toasted perfectly, and the Scallion Cream Cheese was flavorful. However, it didn't pass the test of my favorite classic bagel. It lacked a bit of the crispy exterior while still having a soft, somewhat pillowy interior. Nevertheless, it was still decently flavorful. Overall, this place is solid. Quality and speed of service are spot on. I can't vouch for their sandwiches, but the bagels were missing a bit of the classic bagel texture for me. I'm glad I tried this place out; I just wouldn't revisit for another classic bagel. read more

I live a short 15 minute drive into Pennsylvania, and have to drive into Jersey for good bagels. Needless to say, I was so happy to have found Udo's when I left a nearby school visit. I came closer to lunch time and was surprised how PACKED the place was with people. I would think a bagel spot would slow down around 11 am, but it was bumping. I ordered my favorite which is an everything bagel with pork roll, egg and cheese. And you know how to determine a good bagel place from a GREAT one? They ask you if you want salt, pepper, ketchup before finishing the order - and that's exactly what happened. I devoured my bagel in the car since it's Covid season and my coffee was waiting for me. It was a delcious bagel, soft inside and crunchy outside. Most importantly they were not cheap with the filling, and I was only able to get through half. I look forward to getting back to Udo's on another adventure, but for now urge you to hit them up if you get a chance. read more

Udo's does a phenomenal job! Their bagels are fresh and delicious, the customer service is fantastic, and their prices are reasonable. What more can you ask for? Small shop but the workers are very efficient in getting people through the line. They always have a smile for you. For bagel sandwiches, they use a real grill (unlike some other places I've seen). Tip 1: try one of their chocolate chip cookies which are excellent. Tip 2: you can try to call ahead with your order but don't be surprised if you get a busy signal.
