These are the best bagels anywhere. They are large, chewy & delicious. I wouldn't get bagels at any other shop.

It's been a while since I visited Bagel Train so I decided to grab a dozen when I was in the neighborhood. While they still have great NYC hand rolled bagels I have found better ones in the area. I'm knocking them down a star only because they are pricier than every bagel shop in the area, don't give a bakers dozen, and some of the bagels we got were slightly undercooked. read more

I find it frustrating that they don't have a website but instead, an IG that barely describes the restaurant, doesn't display a menu or pricing. As someone from out of town, I am trying to place my order but I have no idea what bagels they offer based on their limited online presence. What a bummer. read more

Bagel train is the best in the area always hot and fresh and the meats are nice and juicy

Fantastic fresh bagels. Yardley staple. Had them growing up never disappointed. Sandwiches are freshly prepared in the back on grill.

I absolutely love this place, even when they have a line outside in the parking lot in the cold... I will be standing in that line. The service is so fast, the bagels are fluffy and fresh and the cream cheese alligns perfectly with my preferences. I would say prices are pretty fair also! It is pretty cramped inside when busy but again, super fast so it isn't for long. Just a heads up, there is no seating... this is a to go only zone! read more

The best bagels around the area. I've tried Udo's Bagels and Caesar's Bagels & Deli bagels which are the other places people claim are the best but they're either too dense or doughy but the bagels from bagel train are the perfect mix of fluffy interior and slightly crunchy exterior. They have a large variety of bagels, cream cheese, and sandwich combinations! Staff are very nice and patient considering the amount of people they see each morning and the amount of bagels they have to make. I usually order a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. I like the ratio of eggs, cheese, and bacon to bagel. I've also tried plain, sesame, poppy, egg, chocolate chip, and French toast. All are good! If you want certain flavors on the weekend try to go earlier rather than later because sometimes they sell out. read more

You don't go there for the service, you go there because they have the absolute best bagels. Also, once you see the staff for many years as I have, working endless hours to endless lines, you understand the "know what you want" expectation because they have constant rushes. When they are closed for a holiday, etc. there is no place to turn. Bagel Train Owner and Staff, you are the best. THE BEST. In short: best bagels I've ever had in the commonwealth of PA, and surely some of the best in the Delaware Valley! They've nailed the consistency: the boil gives them a chewy outside and a soft inside that you simply don't find in South Jersey and PA. These bagels are legit, the "real deal," whatever Guy Fieri-esque superlative you want to employ, it's appropriate here! Unfortunately, their schmear was lacking: the amount of cream cheese left A LOT to be desired (literally). The prices also aren't cheap at $3.29 & up for a simple untoasted bagel and schmear. Additionally, they have nickel and dime 20 cent up-charges for egg everything bagels, whole grain bagels, and maybe a few other varieties that really aren't exotic. The cash only policy is also a pain in the ass. Fortunately boo had $6 worth of quarters and a dolla dolla bill, which just barely covered for $6.97 that 1 egg and 1 everything (each with cream cheese) cost. They do sell some bottle drinks, coffee, paninis, and maybe some boars head cold cuts and cheese too. There was a line out the door as we left, at noon on a Tuesday. That usually means something. If you close your eyes and open up your cash-containing wallet, you'll be fooled into thinking you're in the hallowed bagel environs of metro NYC, for good and bad. These are by far the best bagels in the Yardley area. They are comparable to NY - chewy, soft, and the perfect ratio of bagel to cream cheese, lol. I highly recommend trying them if you're in the area. read more

It should be noted that with nearly 100 reviews and an almost perfect 5 star rating, this bagel place needs no introduction. They make great bagels here and you should come on in. As for me, as a super bagel snob, and having being lead to a few "Meh" places, I was still skeptical. I actually came on Mother's Day after an atrocious 60- 80 minute wait time announced at my original plan. As I walked in, I knew this was a local favorite - it was tiny, PACKED and toasted bagel smell perfumed the air. If it wasn't for the line, I would have never even bothered to look up at the menu and just ordered my everything with pork roll, egg and cheese. Thankfully I had a minute to glance and I now have a new favorite! Bacon, egg, tomato on an everything bagel! Those slices of tomato make me feel less guilty about the bacon. As for the bagel itself, it was doughy and perfect. A good amount of everything seasoning - I hate when places overdo it. The Bagel Train also sells their cream cheese spreads and a good cup of coffee. If I lived just a few minutes closer, this could be a serious addiction. I cannot believe I never wrote a review about Bagel Train!! I am local to Yardley, but I have also spent a considerable amount of time living in the NYC area prior to Yardley. As much as I appreciated the bagel shops in Brooklyn, NYC, and Queens, Bagel Train is one of the best bagels I have had, Period. We love the plain, egg, and sesame at our home. I buy them by the dozen (they can even slice them for you), put them in an airtight gallon zip lock the same day and freeze them. Then when I toast them the bagels taste as fresh as the day they were made. I have been doing this for years. It was especially helpful to have Bagel Train open during the pandemic. While everyone was baking bread, I let Bagel Train bake for me. I have tried all the local bagel places, and some of the ones in center city Philly. So far nothing, and I mean nothing has come close to the quality of these bagels. I promise I am not getting paid to say this. I also tend to pick up their veggie cream cheese which is great on their bagels. If you are regional (not even local, but I would say withing 10-15 miles of here) you need to try these bagels. These bagels are out of this world. I always get them when family is coming into town. They're so soft and the right amount of chewy.

Bagels are amazing! I love when I am lucky enough to get a fresh batch right out of the oven, but they are always super fresh. The sandwiches are great too. They get expensive but it is still cheaper than a site down breakfast somewhere. I sneak one in here and there :D. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is the waits... sometimes I see the line way out the door into the parking lot and just keep driving. I've been a customer at this place for several years. I came in this week after a rough morning to get my favorite order. I ordered an Garlic Bagel toasted with Veggie Cream Cheese as well as the same thing for my friend. The employee behind the counter who has been there for years was very pleasant. Once my order was taken, it was ready in under 5 minutes. The bagel was extremely delicious, and the texture is more genuine than any New York or Philly bagel I have ever eaten. Everything from the crunchiness to the flavor of the cream cheese to even the saltiness of the bagel was on point. The shop is small with not much seating, but if you're a party of 2, there's enough space to sit and eat. These bagels are so delicious that it's still worth even running in and out really quickly. I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone. It's a delicious, family-owned, genuine bagel shop. read more

My husband and I are New Yorkers but we've been living in this area during COVID. Bagel train very much satisfied our NY-style bagel cravings and felt completely safe while purchasing in their storefront. We got our usual everything bagels with cream cheese and were totally thrilled. They're only letting about four people in at a time, so be prepared for a slight wait on Friday and weekend mornings. My mom has a new sesame allergy so I've gotten into the habit of always asking if any baked goods have sesame. (You'd be surprised how many are sneakily made with sesame flour.) I asked the man at the counter who told me he was almost sure the cinnamon raisin bagel was sesame-free but wanted to double-check. He asked a woman, who I presume manages this place, and she asked, "what?" He repeated himself. She again asked what. I turned around and explained my mom has an allergy and I'm just double checking. She looks at me, ignores me, and says back to the man at the counter, "I don't understand the question." He AGAIN repeats himself and she cuts him off to say, loud enough for everyone to hear, "Of course it doesn't have sesame but I can't help what happens in the back." With her face twisted in absolute annoyance. I could NOT believe this reaction. I look at the guy behind the counter and comment on how crazy that reaction was. A woman next in line to me leans over to tell me how she's "mean to everyone." How completely unacceptable. I will never go back to Bagel Train. I'll go to Wawa before I accept such disrespectful, uncalled-for behavior. read more

The best bagels I have ever had in my entire life. Always fresh and always consistent. But the breakfast sandwiches never have enough meat on them. So when you ask for extra meat they end up charging you close to $10 for a bagel sandwich which is completely ridiculous but also kind of worth it because the bagels are literally that good. I was craving a bagel on my way to work one morning so I looked up places in the area on yelp. This was close to my destination and seemed to have positive reviews, so I checked it out. The staff was super friendly and all the bagel sandwiches were made fresh to order. I tried the pork roll egg and cheese on a sun dried tomato bagel, and boy was it good! I've always been interested in trying new flavors of bagels, so I was glad they had something so different. The PEC was also cooked perfectly, as the cheese melted right onto the bagel. I enjoyed it so much I went back later in the week for another sun dried tomato bagel; but this time got it with light veggie cream cheese. This version of the sandwich is a more classic savory option, and I recommend it as well. The only downside is that the shop is cash only! No big deal, just remember to have some money on you if you're looking to get some breakfast at this location. read more

Amazing bagels. The poppy seed are wonderful. Go for the pork roll, egg and cheese sandwich! I also had the everything which was not too salty (sometimes they can be too salty). The specialty cream cheese was awesome! Would totally get the strawberry (had it with a blueberry bagel) and the walnut raisin on the cinnamon raisin bagel again. Stopped at Bagel Train after an appointment in Yardly. I'm from the land of bagels (Long Island) and I have to say that the bagels at this spot are one of the best that I've had since moving to this area. I got an egg bagel with regular cream cheese. The bagel had a great chew to it. The amount of cream cheese though was lacking...you really gotta slap that cream cheese on for an authentic experience. We got there around 11:30 and I'm glad we did cause by the time the 2 people ahead of us ordered, and we got our food...the line had grown to the point people were waiting outside to even get in. This place is CASH only. No credit cards, which is a pain for someone like me who never carries cash. I also don't get the up charge for some of the bagels (egg everything was .25 or .50 cents more). I'll definitely come back next time I'm in the area cause it was a small taste of home, close to my new home. read more
