Very convenient off the highway but you can tell it's more of a local place. They have their own bagels and cream cheese. I had a veggie sandwich toasted with hummus. It was very fresh and tasty. There is something for everyone on the menu. They have a wide variety of tea/coffee too. The staff is friendly. Clean atmosphere. If you are alone, there is a bookshelf with a huge selection of magazines and books to read while you eat. read more

FRAGELS! Oh my sweet Jesus yes! How I have longed for a fragel for years! They have them and oh my, they are amazing! Cinnamon raisin bagel, deep fried and then rolled in sugar. I bought a bag full to take to my co-workers and practically swallowed one whole on my way back with them. If you don't like them well....you are a freak. Oh, and you know that lean over that you have to do over the garbage can with messy food? You may want to adopt that stance while eating or you will be COVERED in sugar. I also had a super delicious bagel sandwich. You pretty much get to build whatever you want. I had a sesame bagel with turkey, lettuce, tomato and mayo. I was a very happy girl! I will be back for sure. Fun fast people serving New York Style Bagels. Not the doughy bread like "bagels" served every where else in the suburban area. Nice little bakery with friendly service. They had 20 varieties of bagels complemented with 10 assortments of cream cheeses. This selection is more than what most chains offer. I had an onion bagel double toasted with chive cream cheese. The bagel came out perfectly (yes you can mess this up). It was toasted just enough to have a crunch on the outside but fresh and chewy on the inside. The chive cream cheese consistency was spot on and not overpowering to need mouthwash afterwards. Fantastic bagels and their staff is wonderful. I went in the other day for the first time in years and it was even better than I remembered. Their asiago parmesan bagel is the bomb. I had it with veggie cream cheese, which has a nice balance of veggies in the cream cheese and is mixed with some yummy herbs- dill maybe. The lady working was so kind and helpful. This is the closest to a New York style bagel that I've found in Brighton. The bagels are chewy yet also fluffy, and there are many flavors. I specifically love the vanilla cinnamon bagels paired with the vanilla cream cheese, and the everything bagel with their veggie cream cheese. The soup and sandwich combo is surprisingly more satisfying than Panera! Bagel and Bites is simply the best:) read more

I am giving a 2 star, not for their bagels but for their service. The bagels get a 5 star because I think they are the best around. But the workers are not friendly, they don't listen to your order because there to busy talking to each other. I just came from the and I ordered two bagels, both toasted with cream cheese and asked for them to be cut in half. One bagel was toasted and neither one was cut. This happens every time I go in. Positively the BEST bagels this side of heaven or Southfield. They have virtually any kind of bagel you want. Plus they carry loxs (yummy) and flavored cream cheeses. I love the cream cheese w/shallots. The ladies also make their own soups and the sandwiches are good too. They have fragels which I haven't tried. My daughter and I make it a point to come here every time we are in area. There is always a great variety of bagels and we are always greeted with a smile. The Cranberry-Orange bagel and the infamous salt are our favorites. The only complaint is they close at 3, but that is only if I have a hankering and I can't get there in the ample time they are open. read more

The best bagel shop I've ever encountered. I wish it was on my way to work, as I would stop there more often, but maybe it's a good thing I only go there occasionally because I often eat 3 bagels when I stop in there. And for those that have never experienced the wonder that is a fragel, I could not recommend more that you try one. If they are fresh, they are worth their weight in gold (an exaggeration, I know). When they have been sitting for a few hours, they are still the tastiest treat you can buy for the price. Their lunch sandwiches are also a fantastic value and actually seem quite healthy. They're minimalistic, but you won't find a better lunch in Brighton for under $5. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped in here this morning for some breakfast and coffee. Normally we just drive over to Tim Hortons, but we were getting sick of the place after constantly going there, and both of us love finding hidden local gems, such as this place. I live very close to this establishment and kept telling myself I needed to check it out for a long time. Now, I wish I had done so earlier! We walked in and were immediately surprised how busy it was at 11am on a Wednesday, especially with it being a local business, but we figured that was a good sign! The shop has plenty of bagel choices, from chocolate chip to jalapeño cheddar, plus tons of specialty coffees, breakfast sandwiches, muffins, and "fragels" all at an affordable price. We were greeted by a friendly woman who helped us navigate the menu and asked us how we were doing this morning. I ended up ordering a cinnamon vanilla bagel with cream cheese and a large white chocolate mocha, while my boyfriend chose a breakfast sandwich on a plain bagel with bacon and egg on it (I stole a bite of it and it was delicious, but a little skimpy on the bacon- next time we will order extra). I loved my cinnamon vanilla bagel, and my white mocha was delicious. Our total came to $9.00 and some change, which was not bad for two people to have breakfast. His sandwich was roughly $3, my coffee was about $4, and the bagel with cream cheese was slightly over $1. It was a yummy treat at a cute little place not far from home, and I will be back next week on my day off to enjoy some more morning bagels and coffee. It's a nice change up from other mainstream coffee/bagel joints I usually hit up during the work week. read more
