But, with this Bagels & Co opening a block away from my apartment, it's quickly become my place to go for quick and easy breakfast and caffeine fix. And I have to give it up for the fun and viral offerings that they have on their menu! With bagel options like cheddar habanero, Dorito, and RAINBOW; and specialty cream cheese options like birthday cake, black truffle, and zaatar, its pretty easy to step out of your regular bagel comfort zone. And that doesn't even cover the seasonal offerings that they have! For savory, my favorite combo is the French toast bagel with maple bacon cream cheese. And for a sugar rush, it doesn't get much better than an Oreo bagel with cannoli or cookie monster cream cheese! With all the coffee, matcha, cappuccino, and then some this spot has your caffeine fix covered. But for me the best option is going with a latte and checking out their seasonal offerings. But the extra adventurous might go with a Red Bull Cool Toss in things like all-day breakfast sandwiches and French toast sticks and your breakfast is in good company! read more

I was excited to try this place when it opened, but then honestly kind of forgot about it since it's tucked down a side street off Lancaster Ave and easy to miss. It's a solid choice for a quick breakfast though. The restaurant was relatively empty when I was there. There's a touchscreen for ordering just inside the door, but I didn't see it when I first walked in. Most of the other people coming in during my visit walked past it, too and just went straight to the counter to order like I did. The employee was friendly and efficient. My bagel (toasted, with cream cheese) was ready very quickly. My iced latte took a bit longer, but the wait was reasonable. I ordered a Dorito bagel, toasted, with veggie cream cheese. The cream cheese was tasty and had a lot of veggies in it. I expected more flavor out of the bagel though, as you do with something covered in bright orange cheese flavoring. It may have just been over-powered by the massive amount of cream cheese. If you like more cream cheese than bagel, to the point where it's oozing out all sides and you have enough to cover at least two or three additional bagels, you'll like their standard preparation. I prefer a bit less though, so next time I'll know to order light cream cheese. I also ordered an iced Chocolate Strawberry latte, which was yummy. I like my lattes on the sweet side with noticeable syrup flavor, and this fit the bill. The dining area is pretty spacious and has several tables, as well as counter seating along the front windows. It was pretty clean during my visit, and an employee came out and wiped down some tables while I was eating my meal. There are two restrooms, and while they were clean, the soap dispenser in one was broken and had been removed from the wall. I tried to use it anyway, but couldn't get any soap out of it. I ended up using the other restroom to wash my hands. Hoping to see that fixed on my next visit. Not only was it inconvenient, but it looked like the employees also use those restrooms, and I don't want to think about them not washing their hands properly before returning back behind the counter. read more

The wait times for bagels can be pretty lengthy, but the bagels themselves are good and the service is friendly. It's my number 3 bagel place in the area--it's also the closest, which is why I am a return customer. read more

I love bagels and co as it is the only local place you can get good sweet bagel combinations!! I've had the Oreo and French toast bagels, Cookie Monster cream cheese, and birthday cake cream cheese. Although everyone tells me I am like a little kid they are my favorite and bagels and co is the only place locally I can find this! I think the bagels themselves are just okay so that's why I put 4 stars so you don't go thinking it will be the best bagel ever but the combination with the fun cream cheeses is what makes it very special. I've been to a location in Philly, which I don't love, but I was out on the main line and starving and walking by so I thought how bad could it be? The answer is it could be way worse than I thought. I paid $11 for this bagel to have cream cheese, egg, lettuce, tomato, and cucumbers. I did go up and ask for more, but by the time they chopped it all up, my eggs were cooled and I give this experience a zero out of 10. They say you can tell a lot about an eatery by the restroom and I should have been tipped off by the state of affairs in there... As the old joke goes, I ate at Bagels & Company twice today: the first and the last time. First, the price was outrageous. The bagel was $2.25, making it the most expensive bagel on the Main Line. I asked for cream cheese on my bagel. That was an additional $2.75! So a bagel with cream cheese was $5.00. Second, neither the bagel nor the cream cheese was very good. Yuck. Bagel & Co is near my office so I anxiously awaited its opening. How terribly disappointing. If you want to try this place you better hurry. It will be out of business in six months. Better yet, save yourself the $5.00 and go to New York Bagels for a real bagel with actual flavor. read more

Don't order the whitefish sandwich unless what you really want is a block of cream cheese sandwich. The lady that took the order must have been new because she knew nothing, had to go into the back and ask questions for us. Finally, the owner I guess, came out and was not at all helpful. Can't get an open face sandwich because they don't have plates, and could not accommodate us in any other way, like put it on the paper you are wrapping the sandwich in? Contrary to Rob K's Pompous review , we and several others have visited several times and thoroughly enjoyed their bagels , cream cheese and various other menu items . Rob K says 5.00 for a bagel and cream cheese is way out of line for the mainline , well , not sure where you are previously going for bagels , the frozen landers bagels in the market are 6 for five dollars don't forget to pick up your cream cheese at the Dollar Store this sounds more of what you are accustomed to . I went here last Friday and if I was just basing my review off that experience would've been 5 stars. I got the 2nd Street on a toasted cheddar habanero bagel and it was amazing. Went back today and ordered the same thing and added bacon. The bagel wasn't toasted, the eggs were overcooked, and they forget the bacon ($2 up charge)... I really like this place and other locations I've been to are good but not sure I'll be back to this one. read more
