    Fried chicken on bagel

So far the best bagels in the area, but not quite up to par with NY bagels Grilled chicken bagel was a bit burned Service is good though

    French toast bagel with sprinkles

This has to be the best bagel I've ever had, I perched a five item order and it was all so good. I don't live out here but I will be back

Different cheesesteak item #1088 in the last five years. This was a great day to be me!! After reading other google reviews I am doubly happy Amy waited on me. Amy is awesome and runs a great front of the house. I got an egg, steak and cheese on an everything bagel. This was the perfect bagel for a sandwich. It was Bagelaly but not hard to eat. The sliced ribeye was very flavorful. Great Sandwich, Great place, Great Amy. The two different pairs of senior citizens taking a half hour to back into the handicap spots didn't ruin my visit.

    My order

I usually love it here. I love the bagels and they have the best cream cheese. Although today i did not have a great experience here. Starting off I went in and ordered and realized i forgot my wallet in the car...oops. I ran out and got it and came back in and immediately got back in line to order/pay. I paid and waited for my order. When it was ready they brought it out but the lady who rung me out said I didn't pay, which understandable maybe she forgot. Then they preceded to look for it in the machine and gave up and Amber said "just take it i can't remember". This whole situation was very uncomfortable. Then I opened it once I got home and realized my entire order was wrong. I got an everything instead of an egg everything and no bacon which i had to pay for.

A great bagel spot in West Chester. They had a lot of options as far as bagels and cream cheeses. I like that they have a mini bagel option which is what I had. They also have a full menu of more traditional breakfast and lunch options for sit down dining. Prices are very reasonable. The process for ordering to go in person could be a little better, the area is a little cramped. Would definitely recommend checking them out.

    Pathetic breakfast sandwich

Server Cassie is awesome, but damn is this restaurant garbage . It is comedic at how pathetic the food is. Got a sausage egg and cheese bagel, literally comes with no egg. Puny piece of sausage, and some weird bread chips on the side. Go to any other place.

Breakfast sandwich with Asiago cheese bagel, fried egg, American cheese, turkey, onion and tomato.

It was very busy (Friday night) which might have added to some of the issues that we encountered. Our server seemed a little new, but he did OK. Thankfully, we weren't in a rush because both drinks and food took a very long time. The dirty martini was described as "filthy" which was actually very funny, but not exactly what she was looking for. The other cocktails were fine and the food was mostly very good. The main weak spot food-wise: shoestring french fries served with the burger were ice cold. Otherwise everybody enjoyed their meals. One bonus of this place is that they serve a lot of gluten-free options and have a very diverse menu.

We definitely over-ordered but told plenty home for leftovers. For appetizers we ordered the pork belly bao buns and the Thai salad with shrimp. These are more entree size so be forewarned. The bao buns came in a taco server and had three buns filled with plenty of pork and a spicy aioli. The Thai salad came with 5 nicely charred shrimp and a Napa salad. This ate a little dry-I would have appreciated a bit more dressing- but I can see where more dressing might have made this a bit soggy. We would definitely order these again For entrees, we tried the burger and the chicken pot pie. The burger was a double patty with cheese, pickled onion, and a mayo based sauce on a sesame bun. I have to say I was happy to see that they opted out of the usual sad lettuce and anemic tomato that is typical of early spring. I think it was lacking some salt as it was missing something but overall was ok and served with crispy shoestring fries. The pot pie was topped with some puffed pastry and had a nice velvety sauce with hints of tarragon. Very nice. My dining partner finished my burger and took most of the pot pie and the side salad that came with it home. Even though my dining partner couldn't finish his regular entree, he wanted dessert. After looking at the choices the server suggested the seasonal dessert which was beignets with whipped cream, chocolate and strawberries. I was reticent but was happy with the choice because the chocolate dipping sauce (of which there was plenty ) was DELICIOUS! The beignets were fried puff pastry or croissant dough that one dipped in the warm chocolate fudge-y ganache and/or whipped cream. I ordered coffee which paired well with the dessert and it was delightfully fresh. Service was good, friendly and attentive. Decor is industrial farmhouse. Clientele consists of workers from the local courthouse up to about 6 pm when we saw families starting to file in. Nice place, good food, good value.

Very flavorful and not overly greasy. It had a great texture too. For my meal I asked which of the specialty French toast was the best and was told the pumpkin one. As a big pumpkin lover I was super impressed with them. I was thrilled with how delicious my food was. My friend ordered the gluten free cinnamon bun pancakes but was served a gf pancake that just had a cream cheese swirled on top of the stack. There was some cinnamon dusted on top but this is not what one would imagine when ordering a cinnamon bun pancake at all. Additionally the pancake was very dry and not a great texture despite looking like a normal pancake. It was bland and not exciting. I hope this place can work on their GF options to make them actually taste good. But for gluten eaters, this is certainly a great place to enjoy breakfast.

First, my girlfriend and I arrived to the restaurant. We requested a specific table, and the host was gracious enough to do so. We then waited 8 minutes before our table was even touched, and it was just our (server? No intro, nothing) ASKING us if we'd like water. We say yes, and then waited an additional 5 minutes just to receive water in PLASTIC cups. Again, this person never told us his name, and we weren't even sure if he was taking our order or not. He appeared to be about 18, and was most certainly high Then, we requested glasses, and since it had been 15+ minutes since we sat down, said we were ready to order when we got the glasses. The guy took our order. We both got cocktails, which also took about 10 minutes. Finally, our appetizer came. We weren't even halfway through before the entrees came, we probably had about 10 minutes to finish it. This all could have been negated if our order was taken correctly, and things could have been staggered correctly. The "two bite" check occurred within 30 seconds of our food being dropped, and by then I hadn't even touched my food. It was way too early and felt like he was just trying to get it out of the way. At that point both my girlfriend and I were just ready to eat and we said everything was fine. I had to ask the guy for a bag on the way out, rather than him giving me one after our food was put into 3 boxes. I want to be empathetic of whatever was going on at The Social that Sunday. Yet, if you are going to make your steak $42, the service needs to justify that price. I will not be going back to The Social, and encourage their management to speak to their server who flubbed the ENTIRETY of my experience there. Myself and my girlfriend both work in the service / restaurant industry, and we know what good service is. We also understand that there are bad days. This was just abysmal. 4/10.
