Unforgettable awesome sandwiche! Change out the 12 grain for a sub roll and it's perfect

Baggin's is all over Tucson, and for good reason. The sandwiches here are awesome. My favorite is the Hopi Chicken - tarragon chicken, avocado, bacon, and mayo on sourdough. My wife loves the southwest tuna, which has tomatoes and jalapeños and cheese. Plus, every sandwich comes with a soft cookie. Yum! read more

This is the second time we have ordered delivery with our orders being wrong. They do not take into consideration if you want "no mayo" or "ranch on the side." Our sandwiches have been been made poorly both times and so sloppy. We won't be ordering from this location again. read more

Updated: My family has tried Baggin's several times to see if they can get it right. My daughter orders an unforgettable without sprouts, she's getting used to just picking them off (but seriously!! Why can't they follow the request?). I have had to ask for salad dressing a couple times but at least I know to check. Monday my daughter was feeling under the weather and in an attempt to get her to eat dinner I offered her anything she wanted. She choose tortilla soup from Baggin's. We ordered 3 soup, unforgettable without sprouts, salad and grilled cheese. We picked the sprouts off as usual and my 11 yr old commented that if that was the only mistake then they did pretty well! Pretty sad! Well the soup was flavorless, like bland chicken in water. The sick 8 yr old ate her bread only, my husband said "I can't believe you like this" and I added salt, garlic, cumin and lime to my soup and it was still bland! The worst part is that after tossing 3 soup due to not being to expectations when I went in today for a refund I was informed that they would have to call the manager to find out. Then they still couldn't decide so I had to wait for a call back. My children used the restroom while we waited and when they returned still no answer. We decided to head to Chipotle for dinner. I told the cashier we were leaving and she just looked at us and said ok. No hold on, no offer for any customer service at all. I don't have time for a company that can't produce. The worst part was the cashier knew me by name because I usually get her on my weekly lunch. I'm appalled that the clerks in the store couldn't make this right, replace my soup, cover part of my new order, make it right! We will not be back - I don't think Baggin's cares. Original review: I love baggins! I'm addicted to the Cobb salad and tortilla soup. BUT something always goes wrong! I'm eating my Cobb right now with no dressing... not so good dry. Apparently I'm addicted to the honey mustard! Last time I didn't get my bread or chips for my soup, in the past I've gotten the wrong soup, wrong dressing, one time they were out of salads and eggs so we had to leave, another we ordered online and when we went to get it food they had closed early. I really want this to work, but I'm constantly disappointed. I have a gift card, so one more try and then I guess I'll have to find my next favorite salad. Was my go to spot, sandwiches are great and as per the owners every sandwich can be made lettuce wrap for those on Keto as they are on Keto themselves. When I ordered they said don't have enough lettuce for any lettuce wraps. Must be hard when the owners can't even eat at their own restaurant. This is the second time in a row this has happened to me. On the bright side In and Out right next door was able to make double double protein style(lettuce wrap). read more

I love coming to a place that is welcoming and this Baggins does suck a great job at welcoming each and every person that walks in. My sandwich was delicious. I had the High Baggin's and pasta salad. The High Baggin's was delicious but it could have used an extra strip of bacon. The pasta salad was fine but not good enough to get me to pay $2 for that small portion again. They were very fast considering how busy they were. I'll be back. read more

Visited yesterday during lunch hour. It was not particularly busy but the staff seemed very out of sorts. 3 different people called out my order and the preparer still came forward to ask what the order was. I oredered the Cowboy. I enjoyed the generous portions of meat and avacado. It was seasoned nicely. The green chile tortilla soup was good as well. The staff was very friendly and polite, but the cheesesteak was not for me. (I'm a Charley's Steakery girl tho). So I gave it to my hubby and had the Almost Reuben instead. It was much better. So glad a Baggin's made its way up to this side of town! Its so, so delicious and this location, in particular, has always been spot on with their menu items - never a problem! My personal favorite is the Sundown (minus mayo). LOVE it year-round (doesn't even have to be Thanksgiving time). But don't sleep on their grilled cheeses either. I know, I know. Why go pay $5+ for a grilled cheese you could make at home with items you already have on-hand? Because. That's why. It's that freaking good. They have a jalapeño popper grilled cheese made with cream cheese and jalapeños. OMGdelish!!! Their regular gourmet grilled cheese is good, too. One tip with these is if you like to do a soup/sandwich combo (half sandwich and cup of soup), just skip the combo and get the full sandwich + soup. The grilled cheeses are the cheapest sandwich on the menu so it actually works out CHEAPER to get the full sandwich + cup of soup rather than the combo. You miss out on the drink if you don't do the combo, but I don't care about the drink to begin with, so it works out for me. read more

I frequently eat here as well as order through Uber eats. The food is good, the customer service definitely doesn't match. When I've eaten in the employees seem to be bored and not thrilled to have their jobs. One of the most recent times I ordered through Uber eats I was delivered the sandwich I ordered incorrectly and without the chips I paid for. When I called to speak to a manager she told me that their were two orders with the same sandwich and one had chips and one didn't and that she put the orders together herself and blamed the Uber driver for my incorrect order. At the end of the day it's just chips and a sandwich but she did not offer a refund for the chips I didn't receive, or even a way to fix the situation she jumped to blame the Uber driver who only picked up the order THEY made and delivered to me. I was very upset that she didn't even apologize for the situation she just placed blame on someone else instead of apologizing for a mistake on their part. The customer service was very disappointing to me, I haven't ordered or eaten here since. I would rather spend my money with a company who has employees that care about their customers and even a simple apology for a mistake on their part. read more

Was very disappointed in my visit to Baggins on April 25th!! I called ahead with an order that included two sandwiches. When I arrived, I was the only customer in the restaurant and one of the sandwiches, requiring a grill was being prepared on the grill. As I paid, I was told it would only be a few minutes and my order would be brought to me. When the grilled order was complete, the cook wrapped the sandwich and put it in a bag. When he got over to the other young woman who was bagging the other sandwich and order, he took the sandwich he had wrapped, out of his bag and playfully threw it in her direction. A minute or two later, the young woman with whom the cook was flirting/being playful with, came out into the restaurant portion of the establishment and told me that one sandwich had been dropped and they were going to make another one. She went back behind the counter and, after about 2 minutes, apparently the decision had been made not to make another sandwich but, instead, just to re-wrap the original sandwich that had been thrown and dropped. She then came out and handed me two bags with my complete order. When I got home, and took the two sandwiches out of their individual bags, it was clear which one had been dropped, unwrapped, inspected and then re-wrapped. The wrapping paper was askew and there was a big dent in the sandwich. Since I was the only customer in the establishment the whole time and I saw 4 workers behind the counter moving around, it was pretty clear the young people were bored. That did not seem to justify playing around with food, especially my food and then to acknowledge my sandwich had been dropped and then to tell me they were going to re-grill a new set of meat, but instead just re-wrap and pass it off as new, didn't make me feel good about possibly other corners they might cut for future service of any customer. I told the young woman who handed me my order that it was not wise for them to be playing around with food and that they should pay more attention to their work. I like Baggin's and, I know this is one instance, but I would like to see management help their workers both appreciate the fact they have employment and respect their customers. Again, this happened in plain sight and it makes one wonder what happens in the back and, whether this crew behaves this way all the time. read more

Every Baggins I have ever been to has friendly staff, clean environment, and awesome food. My favorite sandwich is the Unforgettable which never disappoints, and the sandwich special was Blue Dutch which was AWESOME! They should make this a permanent item on the menu. read more

Great food, great service, great restaurant. One problem, mine not theirs, - I tried the Hopi and the Anasazi when I first moved here and loved them so much I never got around to ordering anything else. I've rectified that and now force myself to order other sandwiches. I recently had the Southeastern Tuna Melt, the best tuna salad sandwich I've ever had. I may fall back into my old ways. Also, during my last two visits, they gifted my party with free chips and cookies. Baggin's is now our go to lunch spot. read more

Takes forever to get order. Waited 25 minutes. Other times I've waited but not that long. It's a pattern.

I hate to leave a bad review here because this place has good quality food, but they seem to get my order wrong 70-80% of the time. I've been using the online ordering function found on their website for many months now. I don't know if it's a problem with the website or if the issue is occurring at the store, but this has happened way too many times for me not to say something about it. For example, if I check the box online that says "No Cream Cheese" they still give me cream cheese. If I check the box that says "Extra Sprouts" they won't give me any sprouts at all. When they get it right, the food is great, but that doesn't seem to be happening often enough for me to continue going there. Shame on me for giving it so many chances I guess. If the staff can't handle special requests then they shouldn't provide it as an option. read more

What happened to this place?! We have visited this local chain many times and enjoyed the food very much...until now. The sandwiches were dry (no sauce of any kind) and tasteless, and it cost us $33 for just the two of us! Really?! I'd expect that at a full-service restaurant, but not for this discusting hole. Excellent sandwiches and customer service. I visit this location on a weekly basis and I've never had a bad experience. Love that they offer a more gourmet type of sandwich then a typical boring sandwich someone would get at Subway. The breads, meats and veggies are very fresh and the soups and fresh baked desserts are delicious. The staff caters to any dietary restrictions customers have and are always very friendly. read more

Great sandwiches if you dine in. Very poor delivery times. Ordered hot sandwiches (french dip managers monthly specials). Took an hour and 15 minutes to deliver approx 2.5 miles away. This was my first time eating at this particular Baggins location. The staff was extremely attentive and polite. I was greeted as I walked in the door and they thanked every customers as they left. A+ for great customer service! My sandwich was delivered promptly and was nice and warm. I ordered the Baggin's Grinder and it was delicious. Loved the free cookie that came with my sandwich.
