It's only halfway through 2026, but I already know this will make my Top 5 restaurants of the year. It brings me such joy to happily pay for food that truly deserves its price tag - and I'd gladly pay more. So many higher-end expensive restaurants serve bland, tasteless food, meanwhile this amazing mid-ranged restaurant is serving some of the best dishes I've ever had. The smashed chicken was probably the best chicken dish I have ever had at a restaurant. The skin was perfectly crispy while the meat was juicy and well-seasoned. The ginger and herb salsa verde was so fresh and aromatic. The cilantro rice complimented the lemongrass aioli perfectly. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and I'm usually one to reach for the salt shaker at most restaurants. Smoked olives are a concept I have never considered before. It's a concept that was executed perfectly here. So savory, flavorful, and complex. I'd love to have a few with a dirty martini. Speaking of drinks, my Casino gin cocktail was great. Perfect level of sweetness and tartness. I knew I had to order dessert after how good everything else was, even though I am usually not a dessert person. The oolong tea cake was nothing short of incredible. The tea flavor was subtle but paired well with the fluffy and light honey buttercream. Not too sweet at all. Of course, the service was great too. Our waiter was very attentive and personable. My first experience at 5 points made me realize that this is what restaurants should strive to be. I can tell there is passion poured into every dish with every ingredient thoughtfully melded together. I can't wait to bring everyone I know here so they can experience this too!! read more

We called about 45 minutes in advance on a Sunday morning to see if we could get reservations, and we were so pleased when they said they could accommodate us. The drink menu is extensive- everyone loved what they ordered, and there were several other things we wanted too! The shrubs and Coca Cola with espresso were the favorite picks. We tried the orange almond (gluten free!) cake, which was amazing. We also tried the banana cake with tahini cream. My main course of kale Caesar salad was amazing, and the portion was so generous I had lunch for two days! Everyone else raved about their food. The service was so friendly and helpful. I came here for brunch yesterday with a friend, and I'm really glad I gave them another chance! We originally sat on the patio, but it became a bit warmer than we thought it would be, and moved inside. I ordered the Huevo rancheros, which is a Unique move for me since I usually avoid this dish. However, I saw a picture of it on yelp, and it just looks so good. I'm glad I went with my gut because it truly was delicious! It was a great portion, and I really like that the crunchy parts were tostada-like. My friend got the Korean pork sandwich with fries, and she liked her meal too. I do consider myself a french fry, connoisseur, and at first glance, I didn't think much of their fries. But upon tasting them, they had the perfect crunch and the perfect dash of salt. They were good! I got one of their chocolate chip toffee cookies and it was bomb!! I definitely had to hold back from ordering another. I can definitely see why people like this restaurant , from the low-key and local community feel, the great service, fresh ingredients, and they even have merch that they sell from wine, to canned drinks and stationary... something for everyone! read more

What a sensational local spot! My friend and I decided to make a day of brunch and thrifting and we hadn't been into 5 Points in a while. The service, entrees, atmosphere and beverages were all divine! My eggs Benedict with sourdough was outstanding! I decided to try to NA prickly pear shrub and it was refreshing and delightful. Their patio was perfect for a relaxing and leisure brunch. My friend ordered the chicken and it was a generous amount that was rich, flavorful and delicious. Had a very "girl dinner" date here and this might be the way to go with Five Points at dinnertime. The appetizers are all so well developed and enticing that it is very easy to get a satisfying spread by just loading up on apps. The pisco sour is a very solid sour. Great vegan options for breakfast and brunch. They occasionally have vegan food on their seasonal dinner menus too. I've been eating the beet burger with fries for a few years now and it is always a delicious staple at 5 Points. The Ranch Hand Salad is also really good if you like roasted pepitas/pumpkin seeds. I had a carrot cake last weekend that was amazing and regularly see a vegan option among the baked goods. sometimes they also serve a street noodle for dinner that I would eat every day if I knew how to make it. The waits are never long here, you can make reservations if you're worried, and the staff are very nice. read more

Fantastic meal!! Faroe Islands salmon with caviar lentils and chanterelle mushrooms, with a scrumptious, light hollandaise sauce. The homemade passionflower gelato with coconut granita was one of the very best desserts i've ever had. I really liked their veggie mushroom congee with the Chinese mushroom chorizo special on top during the Chinese Chorizo festival. They are a bit pricey but the portion was big. I also enjoyed their smoked beet sandwich. I believe they changed to a new house-made bread for it recently so I want to try it again. They usually have house made baked goods inside , sometimes vegan. I enjoyed their tahini mesquite chocolate cookie. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! They change their menu from time to time, but there's always something new to love even if you're sad about the loss of a favorite (so long, griddled banana bread with espresso... You will be loved and missed forever!). The staff is lovely: very friendly, providing laid-back but efficient service. I've always been into the light, bright space with its trees and cute paper lanterns, and I love the new layout as well. Your eyes might close- you might have to tell your sister to "try this" and you gush to all the waitstaff that this is "the best". Smashed chicken. In a word- amazing. Crispy outside skin- inside is juicy and tender chicken on the bone. Chimichurri like sauce on top. The rice 10/10. If you have not gone lately please order this. 5 Points always delivers on high quality ingredients, which I love. However, a few things have factored into my overall rating going down. First, they don't answer the phone or return phone calls. This makes me uneasy for businesses in the service industry. I called to make sure that my reservation had been recorded on Resy, as I've had an issue in the past with Resy at 5 points, where they said I did not have a reservation when I had used the app, so I figured calling to confirm was the sensible thing to do. I had left a voicemail but they didn't call me back, so it look like four times calling to get through to them. Their website shows they are open from 8am-8pm on Fridays, which is the date we went, so staff not answering phones during regular business hours should be looked into. Another area of improvement is to update the menu on the website to the current menu. I realize the menu changes seasonally, but businesses should update their information accordingly. Our meal was good overall. Their little gems are so fresh and perfectly crisp, which I love. I just didn't love the dressing, but that's personal taste. I ordered the quesadilla and beans for my daughter, and the beans came out beyond piping hot. Honestly not safe to serve them so hot for anyone. Just a note to the kitchen, to be aware of temperatures in general, but definitely for food you're serving children. As the parent, I always temp check first so we didn't have a burn at the table, but the beans were so hot you could see the steam coming off. I've been coming to 5 Points for years now, but I hadn't been in a while and heard they had lots of new menu items. Also, I was excited to learn about their recently expanded hours. There were times in the past that I wanted to go on a Monday and it didn't used to be possible. So I love that they are now open every day, from morning to night! I ordered the chicken salad salad., my friend ordered the smashed chicken, and my other friend ordered the eggs and grits. Luckily I got to try all three dishes! My one friend also got a bernadiddle cookie which I got to have part of as well. My favorite dish was actually my friend's smashed chicken. The skin was crispy and had a juicy, tasty flavor. I also loved the eggs and grits, with the mushrooms on top being my favorite part. My meal was actually my least favorite, but only because I'm not a huge lemon flavor fan and the lemony taste of the salad dressing was pretty strong. I'm not taking any stars off for that though, because that's just a personal preference of flavors. The server was delightful. Two of us got there before our third friend and she checked in with us to see if she could get us drinks while also not pressuring us to make any food decisions before our friend arrived. She was attentive throughout the meal without being there too often. She offered to-go boxes when it became clear that we needed them, and she made the dessert suggestion perfectly timed since we were actually celebrating a birthday and definitely wanted a sweet treat with our lunches. The only down side for me was that it was extremely loud inside, which made conversation difficult. I'm not taking stars off for this however, because they also have the option to sit outside and you can always take their delicious food to-go. Additionally, it's probably not such an issue during off-peak times. We were there at high noon, the busiest lunch time there is. I know that many others have mentioned the price, and yes, it's an investment in that department. However, there is a reason if folks check out their story. They are committed to paying a LIVING WAGE (how many restaurants can actually say that??), purchase as many items locally as possible, and when they can't find things locally they stay regional as well as offer many organic items. Their values and the efforts they have made over the years to treat people and resources with respect have won me over and to me it's worth supporting them. I wish more places had the ethics they do. read more

I wish I can give this restaurant a better review. It has some trendy vibes that are also industrial. The service was abysmal and the food was not that great. There really are no refills on coffee. The price was outrageous for what you got. I would highly recommend going to some other restaurant than this particular one. I hope that they can improve their service along with aligning the dishes to meet the price that they're asking. read more

I like the hanging white paper lanterns over the wood tables and chairs. Our server was really friendly and helpful. The food was really good and there are also a variety of pastries you can eat there or take to-go. The hostess I didn't get their name but so lovely and they got our table ready quickly. The food was great! Five stars for 5 Points!! I had the pleasure of stopping by for a weekend brunch, and this is definitely a gem of a spot. We ordered the salmon benedict and congee, both of which were fresh, delicious, and well-balanced. The benedict had fresh veggies and balsamic to counter the savoriness of the protein. And the congee -- just amazing. I didn't know what to expect from a non-traditional congee, but the local mushrooms added the perfect umami flavor, balanced with the acidic pickled radish, mildly spicy chili oil, and fresh greens. I also had a lovely Citrus Hibiscus iced tea infused with lemongrass flavor that was super refreshing. The open kitchen, bright window side, and mini market in the back really so contribute to a great dining atmosphere! 5/5 would return, especially to try their dinner menu!! read more

Five Points added a chicken salad to their menu, and it is fantastic. The dish is well thought out. Its dressing is light, bright and lemony. The chicken is tender and herby, topped with fresh toasted sliced almonds. The salad greens are pleasantly not iceberg, and they add roasted heirloom carrots. Overall, it's a perfectly balanced with great textures and variety in each bite. On par with the Cafe a la Cart chicken salad sandwich (which is also divine). read more

I think it is a bit overpriced though. $24 for huevos ranchero and $29($23 plus $6 for adding salad) are a bit too expensive in my opinion even with inflation and all. Caught me off guard coz I was not expecting to pay $75 for a brunch without alcohol. Is that the norm now??! Now that I know their price range, would I go back? Yes, coz the food IS good. Recently had our first experience at 5 Points and we were pleasantly surprised by how excellent it was. The ambience is of a neighborhood place, and lots of locals dropped in and the wait staff greeted them like friends. It made for a very amiable experience. I was happy to see a few NA cocktails on the menu. They had a few that are canned and locally produced, but I was happy to see them out thought into concocting a few originals as well. They were tasty and interesting. All the food was perfectly done. 5 Points isn't fancy, but instead focuses on well-prepared food. We appreciated the unpretentious atmosphere and service, and the restaurant's focus on great food. With so many "Instagram worthy" restaurants popping up around town--places that look good on the surface but lack substance--we were happy to discover 5 Points. We'll be back! read more

We came here for brunch on a Friday in July and the place was 1/2 way full. Service was excellent. I got the Salmon Benedict and it was delicious again. I think it's overpriced though for the portion size of the salmon. It was tiny. I show a close up in my photos. I LOVED the prickly pear and grapefruit shrub. It wasn't too sweet and has no caffeine. Cute little spot on your way into South Tucson. Parking can be a bit tight since there is no dedicated parking lot but it balances with the quaint amount of tables available inside. Which I am a fan of. Made it feel more cozy and like you were having brunch at a friends house. We had the Korean BBQ sandwich and heirloom corn cakes. The sandwich came with fries that were reminiscent of the pan fried ones I had as a kid. Crispy and golden on the outside with a soft center! The sandwich came with braised pulled pork, gochujang lime mayo and cabbage radish slaw on focaccia. This sandwich was good but could use a bit of retooling. The pork was a little too salty and could have used some acid to balance it out. Unfortunately the lime mayo didn't have much lime in and the cabbage radish slaw didn't have any acid either. I nice vinegary pop of acid would have done wonders. If they can add some pickled items it would be perfect balance. The corn cakes were good albeit on the savory side. I think they would be better with green Chile compound butter, sausage and eggs. That would be an out of the park dish. The way the are served is with some pilloncillo butter and strawberries. The bites with all three items were great and not too savory. My husband loved them as he doesn't like overly sweet pancakes. I just think they'd be killer served in more of a savory format. Several drink options and a cute little store area. Grabbed some tin fish from Spain. The service was amazing and the interior/bathrooms were nice and clean.
