Stopped in for lunch on an unexpected travel delay. The place was empty except for 4 tables. It was pretty big, tons of seating. Sat at a booth that was dingy and falling apart by a server station. Friendly service, ordered a 5 dollar drink special, bowl of black bean soup and what was supposed to be a steak chimichuri steak salad. Steak was lacking any flavor, it was just in an oily green sauce and the black beans were tough. Dissapointed first timer.

The bartender was fantastic! Great service and delicious, consistent drinks made quickly. The half-price appetizers after 9 were such a good deal. Everything came out piping hot, fresh, and delicious. We had the chicken tostones, yuca cheese sticks, and coconut shrimp, and loved all three. Definitely coming back!

It's been 12 years since I last reviewed it so I thought I'd add another review based on two recent visits. I love this place - the decor and ambience are among my favorite restaurants. I've been to the one in Tampa on the causeway as well and I like them equally as much. My two recent visits were in early July and in mid-August 2026. Both were solo visits and I ate at the main indoor bar area. Service was friendly and outstanding. I hate to be boring but I love the Seafood Paella - their version of which is sautéed scallops, shrimp, mussels, chicken and grilled chorizo sausage over yellow rice. I'm not a sausage guy so they left that off at my request and added a bit more of the good stuff - special orders didn't upset them! It was excellent both times. Generous portions and the two beers it took to wash it all down each time were ice cold. One of my favorites!

Amazing lunch at Bahama breeze today! The patio wasn't too busy and the weather was just perfect for an outdoor lunch. They had a $7 margarita special so I tried their dragonfruit margarita - delicious! The blackened mahi tacos were perfectly seasoned and served with a side of guacamole and rice and beans. Service was exceptional today as well. Overall, a great experience all around.

The bartender was kind to my son and said he'd hang up this masterpiece!

We really enjoyed our meal here! The atmosphere was chill and our bartender/server Blake was very friendly. The coconut shrimp and fish tacos were delicious. My Ultimate Margarita was made just the way I like it, and my son's Ultimate Virgin Pina Colada was fabulous! The only negative was my husband's steak. He ordered it medium rare but it came out closer to medium well. He said it was still pretty good, but for the price, I think a bit more care should have been taken in its preparation. Overall, things were excellent and we will be back!

My wife and I had dinner here last Saturday. The staff was amazing! The appetizer came out 1-2 minutes before the main entrees. Wish it was either out sooner or main entrees prepared later. My fish dish was served with a sauce that was cold. I'm not sure if that was intentional but every element of the dish was hot accept the cold sauce pooled at the bottom. None of this prevented a good meal and time out. Minor details however add up.

The live music at times here is amazing. The location is huge. They have the ability to see a lot of people. I heard many are closing and I am hope it is not a his location. Lots of food, options and wine variety of drinks. A lot of fried food but great Happy hour options service is good and the food was cooked too production. We will definitely go back.

Bahama Breeze Ft Myers 5-25-25 Stopped by for my dad's birthday as he loves to hear Steel Drums playing in the background while eating dinner. We made sure they were playing that day, we showed up around 4 when Dave Lapio started smacking the Steel Drums. It was so nice to hear the Steel Drums while dinning there. They were not that busy, so we were seated right away on the outside patio where the stage was. Our waiter Andy was on point taking our drink orders and answering any question we had about the menu. For an appetizer I ordered the Crab and Three Cheese Dip, and my wife ordered a side Salad. For the main dish I ordered the Seafood Paella which consisted of Scallops, Shrimp, Mussels, Chicken, Chorizo Sausage with Yellow Rice. My wife ordered the Grilled Salmon with Yellow Rice and Broccoli. My dad ordered the Classic Eight Chicken Wings and Fries with sweet BBQ sauce. Our Crab Dip appetizer and Salad was delivered fast. The Crab Dip was so good and hot, it was amazing. The Salad looked fresh and was good. Our main orders came out shortly afterwards. All our food looked so good almost to pretty to eat. I started in on my Seafood Paella and I just loved this dish. Everything was done perfect everything was hot everything was so flavorful. My plate was filled and when I was done eating, I was full. My wife's Salmond was very good done perfect just the way she likes it and her Broccoli tasted so fresh. My dad stated his Wings were very good and was the Fries. We had to get a doggy box as my wife and dad could not eat all that was on their plates. I did manage to finish my plate but to tell you the truth I was stuffed. They brought out a large piece of Key Lime Pie for my dad as we were celebrating his 93rd birthday there. He loved the Key Lime Pie and stated it was close to Key West Key Lime as you can get. I must give Bahama Breeze 5 out of 5 stars for the great food great service by Andy who checked on us a bunch of times the Steel Drum Playing by Dave and for the great vibe of this place. It was a true experience for us all that we loved and will be back, you can bet on that. Follow Me On Fb For More Reviews and Fun. Gulf Coast Terry

We stopped into Bahama Breeze on our way to the airport. We asked to sit outside-and chose a high top. Dave, our server, was attentive and quick. We started with adult beverages: red wine for me and a beer for the Hubs. The food is where we drop to a 3. It was very bland. Blackened tacos were lacking any spice. The applewood Burger was also pretty bland.

My husband loves this place and I must agree that if they are definitely consistent. I love that it has an open feeling very tropical and it's a great place to bring guests from out of town. Last night, we decided to have a quick dinner and stopped in. Our server, Charis was great! I loved her smile and her comfort level with us. She checked on us to make sure everything was good! Will definitely be back and try to ask for her!

The location typically draws a "Where are you taking me?" as you approach the location because you are not expecting the hidden gem of a restaurant that awaits you. The inside is very nicely done and the smiling faces invite you right in to the restaurant. Then the food comes and you are amazed. Everything I've tried has been amazing. My go to is Carne Asada Tacos. These are street tacos so I'd recommend 2-3 depending on your appetizers. Chips and Salsa are amazing. Anafre Fudido con Chorizo is also amazing. Get both as an appetizer if there are a few of you at the table. The Anafre is a version of Chips and queso that includes bean and cheese dip with chorizo served in a flaming warmer that keeps the cheese bubbling hot. I've also had the Columbian Empanadas and the Caldo de Res (Beef Soup) and both are amazing. The Caldo is a beef and vegetable soup your Mom would be proud of. It's amazing. I've been back numerous times in the short time I've known of the restaurant, I've taken my family and will continue going back as often as possible. Great place and thanks for being here in Fort Myers and being one of the top places to eat in the area in my opinion. Foodies should go to this one!

If you think that Lavita Bistro is an Italian establishment, you are off. It is fast-casual Latin infused cuisine. The building has been vacant for some times! Owner of nearby Brasa's Steak and Grill take another spin at this spot! On a Sunday little after 5 PM, we stop by and we want to sample their food! This is a fast casual establishment; prepared foods were served for take out or you can eat in a 40+ seats dining area. We were greeted warmly! We spotted Arroz Congri (Moros Rice), Fried Rice, Ropa Vieja (shredded beef), Carne con Papas (beef stew) and Rabo Encendido (oxtail stew) in the first hot food section. Quick survey, tells us there are many other choices. But immediately, my instinct tells me, you got try your favorite oxtail! Wife was oscillating between shredded beef and beef stew. She opted for beef stew. Our drinks were simple, bottled water and a Jarrito's Mandarin drink! Both dishes were spot on and flavorful. Oxtail stew was made in a flavorful beef-tomato broth that's slow-cooked for hours until the oxtail meat is tender and fall-off-the-bone juicy. It is mouthwatering! In fact, Michael (or Mai Kor) behind the counter telling us if you don't like the food, it is free! The portions are huge! We took home the left over for lunch next day! There are ceviche, shish kabab and other Latin flavors, as well as bakery items, Gelatos, fresh fruit juices and Sandwiches available. We like the setup in the dining area. Tasteful decorated and clean but only have a small short artistic waste container. Probably need one or two fairly large waste containers to accommodate possible 40+ customers. This is 4.5 stars upping to 5 stars! Definitely will be back. I just texted my friend, see you at Lavita for lunch, on Tuesday!

With its cobblestone streets, white church, colorful buildings, plaza and breathtaking view on the Nutibara Hill, it becomes a popular tourist attraction in Medellin! Pueblito Paisa was built in 70's to replicate a typical Antioquian Village to showcase their lifestyle and heritage! Mi Pueblito Paisa started as food truck at 4509 Lee Blvd, Lehigh Acres serving Columbian cuisine. In late 2023, they moved to FGCU's University Village. It is situated next to Tacos and Tequila Cantina. It has six inside tables and more than dozen outside tables. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday! We walked in for early dinner on Saturday. The staff is very hospitable, friendly and answered many questions we had. This location was a take-out restaurant with heavy deep-fried items. The ambiance was simple other than the huge Mi Pueblito Paisa sign with customs and hats. If you go to www. mipueblitopasia.com, or Facebook or Instagram, it still refers to the Lehigh Acres food truck location and menu. The new menu using QR code on the table was not working in my iPhone. The new menu at the University Village is greatly expanded. Their web site or social media is work in progress! I have images of some of popular Columbian dishes from home and with the help of our server, we ordered a Salchipapas, and Cazuela de Marisco with a nice Mora fruit drink! The Salchipapas, one of popular fast-food dish commonly served as street food. The Pueblito Paisa version has crunchy French Fries topped with sausage, pork belly, white cheese in condiments. The sausage and pork belly added the savory taste to the fries! The portion was huge and we took half portion home! Th Cazuela de Marisco was a seafood stew that is served with Avocado/tomato salad, coconut rice and fried plantains or tostones. This seafood stew was served with small shrimps, clams, scallops, and calamari but packed in flavor! The avocado/tomato salad with a little onion added a refreshing taste to the stew. Wife loves that coconut rice but she is not a fried plantain fan! If you like Columbian food, this is the place to visit! We'll back for more Sancocho, Bandeja and Picada!
