I think these may be the best Carne Asada Tacos I've ever had. Definitely the best I've had since leaving California. The staff and owners are extremely nice. The location typically draws a "Where are you taking me?" as you approach the location because you are not expecting the hidden gem of a restaurant that awaits you. The inside is very nicely done and the smiling faces invite you right in to the restaurant. Then the food comes and you are amazed. Everything I've tried has been amazing. My go to is Carne Asada Tacos. These are street tacos so I'd recommend 2-3 depending on your appetizers. Chips and Salsa are amazing. Anafre Fudido con Chorizo is also amazing. Get both as an appetizer if there are a few of you at the table. The Anafre is a version of Chips and queso that includes bean and cheese dip with chorizo served in a flaming warmer that keeps the cheese bubbling hot. I've also had the Columbian Empanadas and the Caldo de Res (Beef Soup) and both are amazing. The Caldo is a beef and vegetable soup your Mom would be proud of. It's amazing. I've been back numerous times in the short time I've known of the restaurant, I've taken my family and will continue going back as often as possible. The food is good, I feel like if the place would have more staff in the kitchen maybe my order would have served out in a good ticket time instead of a 40min wait, the environment is nice, you feel in an authentic Honduran restaurant. The Baleada is delicious, mine was missing avocados; the pupusas are okay, I felt like if they where made on a rush, the pupusas where not close properly and it was more cheese than anything else. And they do not provide enough sauce for the pupusa and when you ask for more they charge you for more sauce just keep it in mind. read more

I finally found a great Honduran place in the Ft Myers area. Latin Grill, aka "Rinconcito Catracho" gets all five stars and let me tell you why. As soon as I walked in, the decoration brought me back to Honduras. They have a box from the Cervecería Hondureña s.a as decoration and I have not seen one of those since 2005. It reminded me of my grandmother and her small pulpería back in La Ceiba. Thank you for that. I ordered two baleadas con carne, a pineapple juice and a medalla. The meat in the baleadas was cut in small pieces, which made it easier to eat it. The beans and the flour were tasty. I recommend them. I also got some Zambos to go. Wow! Came here after striking out with 2 other restaurants in the area. Everything was very fresh, well seasoned and with nice sized portions. Our table had the traditional breakfast, carnita tacos and fish tacos as well as chips and salsa. We ate every bite! The beans and rice were a very nice surprise in terms of flavor. The chips were a bit disappointing, a little chewy (they are homemade/ made to order). Aguas frescas (pineapple) was scrumptious! Would totally go back if I lived in the area. Don't be turned off by the warehouse location. The food is great and they also have a spacious room in the back with pool tables, arcade machines, etc. I bet it's a fun time on happy hour! Our group spent $200 and was asked to pay our bill and leave. Was it the music that we chose to play in your juke box? Our group consisted of 4 people and we asked for 4 buckets of beer. This is one of my favorite Latin Restaurant in Fort Myers. As everyone will tell you, it is located in an industrial or warehouse location off US 41. The full name is Rinconcito Catracho Latin Grill or Honduran Small nook. Some how Yelp has two separate business names, one under Rinconcito Catracho and one under Latin Grill. It is the same establishment! We've been here many times and each time we were fully satisfied with their food and services. First the smiling waitress is wonderful and pleasant to deal with. If you don't know what a chuleta de cerdo is, just ask her! Today, flying solo for lunch. I have their camarones al ajillo (garlicky shrimp) with a cup of horchata. The shrimps with garlic were perfectly cooked. The side of rice is seasoned so well, fluffy and tasty that you would not stop eating! The tortilla is hot and you know they were made a few minutes ago! The refried bean is just amazing here. From the outside, this looks like a divvy place, once inside, it is another world! The food here is AMAZING! never disappointed with the level of service and food. the waitresses are ALWAYS incredible but they absolutely 100% need more help. the poor girl is in charge of servicing dine-ins, to-go's, the phone, etc. This lack of help will only hurt her as she loses tips and clientele and not the owner in the long run. Been to this place many times since reading about it on Yelp. Food has been delicious and a good variety of items on the menu. Looking at the menu I see Mexican, Colombian, and Salvadorian favorites. The service has always been very friendly and the orders come out fast. One of my best choices is the whole fried red snapper which runs about $15. Once it was over cooked and fried a little too long but other times it was spot on. Their salsa is always spicy bringing some heat to the table. We shared the Mega Bandeja Paisa last time we were there. Everything on the platter was very good and the portions were tremendous. The Pupusas with pork and cheese are some of the best I've had. For drinks I really enjoy their Horchata (rice water) if I'm not going to have an ice cold Corona beer. FANTASTIC NEW RESTAURANT The full name for this place is Rinconcito Catracho Latin Grill, and it is just wonderful. We stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon and almost every table was taken. It's an Honduran restaurant and our server was Colombian. My wife and I each had their renowned Tacos de Pescado, a dish with three fish tacos plus rice and beans. It was absolutely delicious. While you're there be sure to check out the back room (on the way to the bathroom) where there is a pool table and Foosball. Big screen TV's show soccer games. Nice for a change. What a find! Don't let the dark strip mall exterior feel deter you, the interior is nicely done and the food is authentic. Excellent prices and good sized portions.
