I finally found a great Honduran place in the Ft Myers area. Latin Grill, aka "Rinconcito Catracho" gets all five stars and let me tell you why. As soon as I walked in, the decoration brought me back to Honduras. They have a box from the Cervecería Hondureña s.a as decoration and I have not seen one of those since 2005. It reminded me of my grandmother and her small pulpería back in La Ceiba. Thank you for that. I ordered two baleadas con carne, a pineapple juice and a medalla. The meat in the baleadas was cut in small pieces, which made it easier to eat it. The beans and the flour were tasty. I recommend them. I also got some Zambos to go. You cant never go wrong with Zambos.

This is one of my favorite Latin Restaurant in Fort Myers. As everyone will tell you, it is located in an industrial or warehouse location off US 41. The full name is Rinconcito Catracho Latin Grill or Honduran Small nook. Some how Yelp has two separate business names, one under Rinconcito Catracho and one under Latin Grill. It is the same establishment! We've been here many times and each time we were fully satisfied with their food and services. First the smiling waitress is wonderful and pleasant to deal with. If you don't know what a chuleta de cerdo is, just ask her! Today, flying solo for lunch. I have their camarones al ajillo (garlicky shrimp) with a cup of horchata. The shrimps with garlic were perfectly cooked. The side of rice is seasoned so well, fluffy and tasty that you would not stop eating! The tortilla is hot and you know they were made a few minutes ago! The refried bean is just amazing here. From the outside, this looks like a divvy place, once inside, it is another world! So, if you enjoy Mexican, Honduran and Latin food, this is the place for you. Prompt service and reasonable price!

One of my favorites. So many options at a great place! Everything I've tried is delicious. You simply cannot go wrong. The service is good, it feels very homey inside.

Soup, taco trio, carne asada taco, Jarritos and Modelo beer.

Latin Grill is full of authentic and flavorful dishes. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food paired with excellent customer service, then this is your spot. Snowbirds, this is a hidden gem. Enjoy!

Visited Latin Grill for lunch. I had the taco lunch special. It was so delicious. Very authentic flavors. The service was good but I paid with a 100 and noticed she shorted me 20 on my change. I'm hoping it was an honest mistake.

Its a small local restaurant in the area. The menu is half mexican, half hondurian. I ordered a plate of churrasco with rice, salad and fried beans with cheese. Delicious. The churrasco was medium well. Also came with their own chimi churro sauce is what I call it. The sauce went well with the steak and I added a bit of hot sauce. They have a bar area. Im not sure if its a full bar. That area is small. There is nice back round music playing as well. Over all, not bad. Im actually impressed.

Been to this place many times since reading about it on Yelp. Food has been delicious and a good variety of items on the menu. Looking at the menu I see Mexican, Colombian, and Salvadorian favorites. The service has always been very friendly and the orders come out fast. One of my best choices is the whole fried red snapper which runs about $15. Once it was over cooked and fried a little too long but other times it was spot on. Their salsa is always spicy bringing some heat to the table. We shared the Mega Bandeja Paisa last time we were there. Everything on the platter was very good and the portions were tremendous. The Pupusas with pork and cheese are some of the best I've had. For drinks I really enjoy their Horchata (rice water) if I'm not going to have an ice cold Corona beer. One of my go to places in Fort Myers when I can't decide a particular type of food because they have it all!! Coming back? Yes Sir!

Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat, I am a carnivore... I love meat. But someone told me to try fish tacos. ehhh. I did here. These were outstanding. Plus the housemade sauce was heated heaven. The fish was cooked just right the lettuce or cabbage was seasoned all so well. The side of yellow rice was fluffy and so tasty. The refried bean were mmm mmmm good. I also had some type of raspberry drink. I bought extra and took a grande home. Chit chat. This is located on a side street in a strip mall/industrial area. Very non descript. Open for Breakfast till nine PM. Daily...Divey from outside but very nice inside. Service is prompt and excellent. So if you are into fish tacos come here. I will. I will be back for other items too.

With its cobblestone streets, white church, colorful buildings, plaza and breathtaking view on the Nutibara Hill, it becomes a popular tourist attraction in Medellin! Pueblito Paisa was built in 70's to replicate a typical Antioquian Village to showcase their lifestyle and heritage! Mi Pueblito Paisa started as food truck at 4509 Lee Blvd, Lehigh Acres serving Columbian cuisine. In late 2023, they moved to FGCU's University Village. It is situated next to Tacos and Tequila Cantina. It has six inside tables and more than dozen outside tables. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday! We walked in for early dinner on Saturday. The staff is very hospitable, friendly and answered many questions we had. This location was a take-out restaurant with heavy deep-fried items. The ambiance was simple other than the huge Mi Pueblito Paisa sign with customs and hats. If you go to www. mipueblitopasia.com, or Facebook or Instagram, it still refers to the Lehigh Acres food truck location and menu. The new menu using QR code on the table was not working in my iPhone. The new menu at the University Village is greatly expanded. Their web site or social media is work in progress! I have images of some of popular Columbian dishes from home and with the help of our server, we ordered a Salchipapas, and Cazuela de Marisco with a nice Mora fruit drink! The Salchipapas, one of popular fast-food dish commonly served as street food. The Pueblito Paisa version has crunchy French Fries topped with sausage, pork belly, white cheese in condiments. The sausage and pork belly added the savory taste to the fries! The portion was huge and we took half portion home! Th Cazuela de Marisco was a seafood stew that is served with Avocado/tomato salad, coconut rice and fried plantains or tostones. This seafood stew was served with small shrimps, clams, scallops, and calamari but packed in flavor! The avocado/tomato salad with a little onion added a refreshing taste to the stew. Wife loves that coconut rice but she is not a fried plantain fan! If you like Columbian food, this is the place to visit! We'll back for more Sancocho, Bandeja and Picada!

Owner of nearby Brasa's Steak and Grill take another spin at this spot! On a Sunday little after 5 PM, we stop by and we want to sample their food! This is a fast casual establishment; prepared foods were served for take out or you can eat in a 40+ seats dining area. We were greeted warmly! We spotted Arroz Congri (Moros Rice), Fried Rice, Ropa Vieja (shredded beef), Carne con Papas (beef stew) and Rabo Encendido (oxtail stew) in the first hot food section. Quick survey, tells us there are many other choices. But immediately, my instinct tells me, you got try your favorite oxtail! Wife was oscillating between shredded beef and beef stew. She opted for beef stew. Our drinks were simple, bottled water and a Jarrito's Mandarin drink! Both dishes were spot on and flavorful. Oxtail stew was made in a flavorful beef-tomato broth that's slow-cooked for hours until the oxtail meat is tender and fall-off-the-bone juicy. It is mouthwatering! In fact, Michael (or Mai Kor) behind the counter telling us if you don't like the food, it is free! The portions are huge! We took home the left over for lunch next day! There are ceviche, shish kabab and other Latin flavors, as well as bakery items, Gelatos, fresh fruit juices and Sandwiches available. We like the setup in the dining area. Tasteful decorated and clean but only have a small short artistic waste container. Probably need one or two fairly large waste containers to accommodate possible 40+ customers.
