Decent but nothing spectular- we had some sizzlers including fish and biryani. Fish was good. Kebabs and briyani fell below expectations. Service was poor- brought the wrong curry to us and forgot the biriyani item. Ambiance - nothing great. read more

I came here originally for a Yelp event, and came back and got to try the rest of what they have to offer on the menu. The interior is bright and open, and there's tons of booth seating. This vibrant restaurant is known for their amazing biryani selection and extensive veg / non veg menu with various levels of spice. Thankfully our waitress warned us prior it would be spicy!! So we got everything mild which was perfect. I LOVE paneer so was very excited to see how many paneer dishes they offer. Everything had great flavor and left us so full but still wanting to eat more. Bahubali is located in the middle of a strip mall area but the interior is gonna shock you! The inside can easily pass for any upscale bar downtown. The food is absolutely delicious with giant portions. I personally enjoyed the Cilantro Chicken the best as its not a typical Indian dish that one can find in greater vancouver. In fact their menu contains many items that are authentic street food which are difficult to find at other places! read more

Had such an amazing and delicious dining experience All the dishes I tried were packed full of traditional flavors and spicesI loved how they had Indian street food options, veg/non-veg items to choose from on their menu and so many types of Hyderabadi biryani to choose from! I wish I had the ability to eat more because everything was soooo good . Items I tried: Pani puri - loved this! Each bite was a pop of flavour Kothi meera chicken (cilantro chicken) - one of the favorites of the night and I'm still thinking about how fresh the herbs were! Mixed tandoori platter - great option if you want to try a bit of everything Chicken dum biriyani - yum! Be aware the chicken pieces that are hidden under the delicious mount of rice! When you order food, make sure it is Biryani, and Biryani only. "NEVER ORDER PARATHA." They were the worst I have ever had. Bahubali should stop making paratha and only serve what they do best. It was very disappointing and waste of $$$. read more

We were told that it's the same owners as Hyderabadi biryani house so went in with GREAT EXPECTATIONS. The service from the get go was super disappointing. We had asked for a table for 5 and they said they were all booked up. After a few minutes of a conversation, they said they can join a chair to the 4 people booth... why was that not an idea before? To order food, it took a long time. Then we noticed that the tables were empty throughout the time we had our dinner. There were 5 empty tables (WHERE WERE THE RESERVATIONS?) The butter paneer masala was flavourless but the biryani was at PAR. I hope they do better next time. read more

Bahubali Biryani is a new restaurant in Delta that opened in Jan of 2024. The chef is the same as Hyderabadi biryani house, so you know the food here is 5/5. They are also one of the few places in the lower mainland who make really good rumali roti. It was soft and went really well with their paneer curry. We also had their lamb curry with roti and their chicken biryani. Both were really good! We ended our lunch with their fruit custard, this one I haven't had at Hyderabadi Biryani house. It was really good, but I wish the consistency was a bit smoother. The staff were all very friendly and checked with us if everything was good. The interiors were very vibrant with cool lights and bright seating areas. I would definitely go back here! read more

Whats good ? Foood. Had been there on two back to back days. First time on ourselves and second time for friends wanted to go there. So tasted Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, Chicken Dum biriyani, vijaywada biryani, chicken 65, chicken majestic, tandoori platter and my fiend had chicken hot and sour soup. The food was top notch on both the occasions and liked all the three flavours of biryani. Though the soup was probably not great as my friend tried that. It tasted like packet soup to him what he says. All food I tried were great. What needs improvement ? The service. The servers are trying their best, but I felt on both the occasions they are confused between spoons and forks. I had to ask for dining fork and the server girl was confused on that and declined till i had to show her and she had to look for it. Same goes with spoons next day. She was pointing to a soup spoon when I asked for spoon to eat biriyani. The napkins were not there and i asked for it. But i guess these issues can be addressed and doesnt matter till the time food is great. I can recommend this to anyone. read more

I loved the aesthetics and food was authentic to its South Indian flavour. I tried their veg and non-veg biryani could be little spicy for some. Ordered Chicken Biryani Family Size. The serving size was humongous! We had 4 people at our table and we could only finish half of the meal. It was super delicious, with multi levels of flavors. The rice quality was premium, fluffy and nicely flavoured. The chicken was marinated, to us, relatively spicy even though we ordered the "mild" spice level. Overall, very impressive and solid meal. We will come with a bigger group of friends next time to try more of their dishes! read more
