1 Star Review I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. They have had my 2023 Honda CR-V for over a year, sending it back and forth for repairs that were never properly completed. Despite all claims being fully paid and me owing them nothing, they are now refusing to release my car unless I sign a waiver saying I will not sue. What makes this even worse is that they knew I have a disabled daughter and that this is our only vehicle. On several occasions they returned it to me unsafe to drive, showing total disregard for our safety. Throughout this entire ordeal, I have been spoken to with disrespect, ignored, and pressured into signing paperwork I did not agree with. As a Black woman, I cannot ignore the way we were treated. I am not calling them racist, but I truly do not believe they value or respect Black women as customers. The disrespect we experienced was beyond unacceptable. Lithia and Casey in particular have been extremely difficult to deal with -- this has been the worst customer service experience of my life. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, avoid this dealership. They are not trustworthy, and I deeply regret ever bringing my car here. read more

Zero rating, arrogant salesman, on the phone while I was test driving the car. Used the "F" bomb about my son asking about the price Called him arrogant. salesman didn't know my sons wife heard him say this. my daughter-in-law took the salesman to the manager and explained to him what was said. Manager didn't apologize or do anything About it. I went to another Honda dealer and asked if they were affiliated with baierl. They said no and asked why. When we explained they told us in the past 2 weeks they have had a lot of complaints about baierl and said they were sorry of the bad experience.. I did buy the same car from them that I test drove at baierl. My friends and family will never go to baierl Honda to buy a car. read more

Unfortunately, I now see why Baierl seemed so desperate for 5* reviews. Today, I brought my car in as my splash shield fell off of my '18 Honda Fit. Long story short, it appears to be a reoccurring problem; however, when I called Honda Warranty they said Baierl should have looked at the car FIRST before denying warranty and saying "Honda considers it a wear & tear item like windshield wipers and breaks." (When is the last time a windshield wiper flew off on the highway potentially causing an accident and/or death?!) I called Rohrich and they explained in detail in just 5 min the bigger problem. I used to take my '91 Volvo to Rayal in the '00s... They were always upfront and honest re: cost, history re: problems for 240s, and CARED about my car as much as I did... even if it meant going elsewhere. Rohrich was the same way - even on the phone. My mother has always brought her car to Rohrich and was STUNNED by Baierl today. Baierl was prepared to charge me $260+ labor (or just labor to reattach current). My local family and I will never bring our vehicles to any Baierl dealer again. We're a Rohrich family. read more

I should have read the other reviews first. Made an appointment at 2:30 pm to have the inspection and a recall done. They started working on it at 4:30 pm and only done the inspection! Asked me to come back to fix the recall another day. Wow, they did not care the customer time at all. If you cannot handle the appointments, just reduce the number! I took my car in for service. They authorized an employee to use my vehicle for personal use, take my car home and parked at their residence over night while I am of the belief that's it's securely parked on their property. The car was returned to me with 77 additional miles. They are rude and dishonest. The salespeople are condescending. There is nothing legitimate about them. read more

You still have not even responded to the multiple poor work claims I have send in via dealer survey, via a direct phone call to repair center, via a corporate survey email and via an email directly to your service department as requested. The work was inexcusable, inept, unapologetic for ignorance over work so simple I should have done it myself., cost me extra at another shop, is still not resolved and not a single person has bothered to fix the problem or apologize, let alone make the apology and the correction that might make me able to rebuild a little confidence. Despite all the surveys, emails and calls, you are still ignoring me. I have no trust left since it is obvious this is a company with attitude that it ok to screw the paying customers and never respond, apologize or fix any on your own mistakes. By now, I have to warn people away from your dealership and your service department lest they wind up in the same horrible position I find myself in. I payed you, then I had to pay another shop at you advice, and I still have unresolved issues. Months and months, I've tried and no responses are all. Leaves you looking incompetent and lazy. I'm sorry I bought my car there. Perhaps a lawsuit is in order and you can take the car back at full value. All disappointment. And you have the nerve to keep suggesting more similar services. Bought a Honda CRV. My wife gets her car inspected at the Butler Honda. Against my better judgement, I tried to schedule an inspection at Bariel Honda. I called & told them I needed a appointment around 4:30 any day over the next two months. My wife always schedules her inspection after 5:00 PM. Bariel told me that I would have to have my car at the garage before 1:30. I'll go elsewhere. read more

My new to me car has an issue with the ignition lock which required it to be replaced. I agreed to pay $200 of the $500 bill assuming when it was done I would have two sets of programmed keys for it. When my wife picked up the car, they gave her one programmed key and a valet key which won't start the car. Tried calling repeatedly but no one ever answers the phone. Leave a message and they never return it. I tried just having the charge reversed, but due to issues with my bank that didn't work. Do not go here because you will NOT get what you pay for. read more

I also received a recall notice for airbags and a follow up call from Honda. I tried to schedule an appointment to have the work done, that was a joke, nobody answers or calls you back from this service department. Finally get to talk to somebody and am told that the part is on back order they will call when its in. That was probably close to FOUR months ago. No call, no nothing. I called back and was told still on back order. Called Honda North and they called me back within 2 days and made the appointment. Word to Baierl if you don't want to do the work just say so, so that people can be safe in their cars. I had purchased cars here before in fact the car i was taking was purchased at Baierl but based on numerous crappy service experiences with them I will not even consider going there to purchase my next car. read more

I had always had positive experiences with Baierl Automotive and chose to buy my Odyssey from there over Honda dealers closer to home because I appreciated their integrity. That bubble just burst. The 2008 white Paine has a defect in its primer. In 2012 Baierl willingly repainted the peeling paint on the roof of the vehicle. Three months later I noticed paint peeling inside the sliding doors, the hood, and the tailgate. When I called the service manger he told me not to have it serviced right away, but to instead wait for it to get much worse because it would be the last repaint available for me. So I naively followed his advice and when I took it to the dealership to have the paint issue addressed they refused to make good on the promise. Silly me for assuming integrity: It seems that I fell for a delay tactic to get me past warranty. As I now am thinking of trading in the van, my recommendation is that you check out Honda North. My parents have bought from them faithfully and have never faced an issue like this. read more

The worst! They have no idea what they are doing or how to deal with customers. They sold me a car with so many problems and haven't fixed it even though they said they would. They do not stick to their word and will do nothing to help. One of the managers actually said they were "busy, trying to run a business" and then that person's manager said it was because they have a new computer system. Why would you schedule a check up of a storied vehicle if you could pay no attention to your customers? You can't trust this dealer for purchasing a new car or for servicing your car. I can assume all Baierl dealerships are like this---must be the corporate culture. Shop elsewhere, maintain your vehicle somewhere else and save yourself the hassle. This place is awful. read more

The worst salesman, went to actually get a price on a lease. Took him a little bit to get the price and then he comes back with a monthly price that was rediculously high. I have a $60,000 Lexus and his price for leasing an Accord was the same price as my Lexus. That doesn't make sense to me at all. They lost a customer who was actually going to buy from them. Went in today for an Express Service for the oil change and tire rotation and was told by the girl attending the desk it would be at least a 2 hour wait! What kind of EXPRESS service is that? Do they only have one technician on the job? There were at least 4-6 girls and a guy walking around shuffling papers and playing on their computers! What a joke their service is. Last oil change, they changed most of the computer settings on the car, took me over an hour to get most back to where I had them, finally had to take the car back to get them reset to where they were. Will NOT buy from them again unless I see a major improvement in how they treat their customers! Extremely poor customer service here. An idiot knows poor service will ruin a business, and their extended service offering like oil changes, tire rotation service, etc., are only honored at Baierl Honda! So you get free services that you can't use due to their lack of any qualified Express Techs!!!! WOW, at this rate They are not long for being around. I do not recommend their service department at all. The short story is this: I took my 2008 Odyssey to them to remedy a leak in one of the front tires. They told me the tire couldn't be repaired and had to be replaced, and recommended I replace both front tires as a pair for performance reasons. The tires were still relatively new, with over 60% of their tread life still remaining. $650 later, the tire still leaked, and it turns out it was just the valve stem, which could have been fixed for less than $50. They had already tossed the old tires, and wouldn't compensate me, even partially, for their blunder. Worse yet, they were argumentative and actually tried to defend their position with a flurry of ridiculous arguments. read more

Several weeks back I received the airbag notice for our Honda. I called and scheduled an appointment and was told it would only take about 45 minutes to do the work. I took the day off work to take the car to Baierl where I was told, they had the passenger side airbag but not the driver side airbag. I was told that they could do the passenger side airbag and bring the car back some other day for the driver side or I could leave and bring the car back some other day to do both sides. I told them this was unacceptable and that I had an appointment, took the day off work and will not bring the car back a second time. I told them I would leave the car but they would have to provide me a loaner, which they did. Well over 3 weeks went by and I did not hear one word from Baierl re: the status of my car. When I called the service department, all I got was a recording to leave a message and my call would be returned as soon as possible. I left two messages over several days, but received no phone call. Finally, Baierl called to tell me that my car was done. Hilariously, on the day I brought the car home, I had a message from Baierl informing me the airbag replacement parts for my car were in and to call and schedule an appointment. I received about 5 such messages over 2 weeks. I bought this car from Monroeville Honda which may be why Baierl chose to mistreat me. I really don't care to receive an apology from Baierl or a "geez thanks for letting us know so we can do better in the future." What I would like from Baierl is for them to try to convince me why I should even consider buying my next Honda from them when they choose to treat potential customers in such manner. read more

I will try to stay as anonymous as possible here for fear of retribution to my family due to the Baierl auto conglomerate behemoth being on the scope and size of a federal government agency, possibly even more powerful than UPMC the big brother of healthcare. I went in for a simple annual inspection but when they saw my car was just over 10 years old, they started salivating and saw that as a blank check open invitation to inflate the bill and "fabricate" needed work in order to pass inspection....on the tune of nearly $2000. Well, I treat this thing like a little old lady (less than 4000 miles driven per year!) so I read between the lines and opted for a second opinion at another reputable state inspection station prior to consenting to any work. And sure enough, all it needed were new wiper blades to pass!! Nice try, Baierl. I now see how you got so big. You prey on conservative customers who wish to avoid the unknown of going to independent shops and feel more comfortable going to the service department of a dealership which sells the same make and model. So, word to the wise and no puns intended but, steer clear of Baierl Honda when it comes to service and inspection, else get taken for a ride! read more
