I kept calling them for some updates and they would tell me the something over and over... called them for 3 DAYS and they still didn't do nothing. I just got my money back. Am I the only one that had a horrible experience? I really think this particular place has unprofessional people that work there. I originally submitted a 5- star review as such: Quick answers by phone - informative response, and got my friend processing out of jail within the hour. Pleasant experience, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for easy, efficient, and friendly service. I am now adjusting my review after calling back and getting voicemail while trying to verify causality. Here's the story: My friend who they bailed out has a drug problem and tried to kick it solo (I didn't know about it yet at the time). During the time he was withdrawing, he missed not one, but two court dates. For this, he understood he would likely be going to jail when he next turned himself in, so he asked the bondsman what to do. They instructed him to come in and get a letter of reinstatement. My friend failed to do so for over a month, as he relapsed and was unable to focus and get anything done, however, as I found him and helped him start getting clean (he came to me and told me his story), A few days ago, the bondsmen called my work, and the text I got from my partners said, "A guy named Robert called for you. 408-883-0335. He says you cosigned for someone and that person skipped out. They will come after you if you can't help them locate this person." Only AFTER that did Robert call my cell phone directly to speak to me. Needless to say, I'm still dealing with the repercussions at work. So there's one star removed. During the conversations over the next day or so with Robert and his supervisor, I repeatedly asked, "When Jason goes by your office, will he be going to jail?" I then explained to them why I was asking, so that I would be sure to get all keys from him (he is a mechanic) and all information needed to get vehicles handled by other mechanics and vehicles back to their owners. I thought I was pretty clear that either way Jason would go in, it just changed the way I would approach it and how much planning would be spent before driving him in. They insisted several times that he would not be going to jail. So I had Jason drive himself to the bondsmen to sign the paperwork and continued with work. An hour or so later, I get a call from Justin saying they are taking him to jail. Now, to try to protect the vehicles and investments in his work (he is a good mechanic) I have had to take a driver to go get his work truck (I would have had him driven to the bondsman had I known) and AFTER the fact, I now have to have other mechanics pick up where he left off, without being able to transition it smoothly. All this hassle is because Hotline Bail Bonds decided it best to maintain lies to a business owner trying to protect investments. Two stars lost here. I was planning on submitting this a a two star rating, but I just called back "Robert" who has been calling me a lot the last few days while I though we were scheduling Jason to go sign papers with a notary, but they were actually just lying to try to get him in. (I'm on their side, at least as far as getting him in is concerned) no answer - I was going to ask if e decision to take him in was based on him arriving 2-3 hours late today, or if it had already been decided beforehand. I thought i should be fair and give them a chance before I posted this rating. I guess they don't care about my call at all anymore, now that they have him to jail. May 12th I made my first enquirer with Aladdin. I chose this business after thoroughly reading there about information it was exactly what I was hoping for. The gal I spoke with seamed to be feeling a bit agitated, understandably forgivable as I confronted her with the fact of false advertising. It became apparent to me that I was actually talking to somebody with a brain Matter of a turkey , her English vocabulary consisted of two words $3600 and OK Ok Ok .. James with Hotline 3 failed attempts several text messages paperwork his offers kept getting even better, The problem was, I didn't have enough money, Please remember, this is a business . What is the primary reason why you might wanna invest your savings and open up a business , maybe to make more money? You can show up at a food bank with no money and most likely go home with enough and that is wonderful. So I'm here because two weeks ago I came in because my friend was short $40 on her boyfriends bail and some how after dropping off money to a girl named Maria I became a cosigner. With out using my ssi card or my state I. D. Or with out a signature. I was so confused on why there financial department was calling me for money. So I came down here and met with Raquel who wasn't helpful not because she was a rude b word but because she just couldn't give me any answers on how they got my name and number when all I did was drop off $40. So being afraid of foul play I called a family member who is a lawyer and he deals with these kinds of things and he said no tina refuse to leave until u see how they came up with me being financial responsible for a bond I never sighted on. Because it's either fraud on their part or on the initial signer. So I explained and super calm I have four children so I know I can keep a level head. I explained to Raquel that I am super worried that this could be identity theft or fraud and that I'm not gonna leave until I get real answers. And she started making calls and was super passive aggressive. I felt bad but this is important. She kept trying to make me leave I kept insisting on phone numbers for her boss or supervisor and she handled it pretty well until she got up and started calling the supervisor( who's number she said she didn't have )and started talking crap about me refusing to leave and wanting answers (uhh duhhh) I want to know how I'm financially responsible for someone els. I first thought I was receiving excellent customer service from the bond agents here at this company but months later when I found in the mail that I had an outstanding balance for a bond that I CLEARLY stated to all agents in the company before I actually help someone get out of jail that I cannot be financially responsible for this person's Bond however they have sent the account to a law office which is trying to obtain money from me when I told them that I clearly cannot afford to pay for it I was a single mother on a fixed income and that I could not afford to be financially responsible for it . I called the office I called the law office that they put the case over to and they both still were very adamant about me being responsible for it and so I gave them two thumbs down if I had more thumbs I would give them down as well and I definitely would refer no one not even my worst enemy to this company .
