If I could put zero stars I would. Miguel seems to have an attitude problem, I am not sure if it's only with women but yikes is he the package czar??? I returned a package here, I requested the label be given to me because he was having a sissy fit about TAPE! lol. He refused to give me the label I HAD PURCHASED and insisted they cannot tape my package to return. I had not even asked for tape but my label so I can just put it on the package. I have done this many times with returns. So I was scolded into buying tape because he would not give me the label or my package back. Weirdo behavior. I hope he remembers he works at UPS not TSA. read more

Rude and unhelpful, repeats the same useless information. The so-called loading zone is illegal - the street isn't properly marked without signage, so towing your vehicle and calling the police is illegal according to City of San Jose parking regulations. read more

Package Perfection at My Favorite UPS Store! I can't say enough good things about my trusty UPS Store! This place has been a lifesaver for all my packages and important mail. Although I live in the attached building's Apartments, it was critical that I found them as a safe and trusted place for all of my packages ot be delivered to ( instead of my apartment building: which has access issues and porch pirates ). Thank God for this UPS Store. Just steps away from my front door. And the owner, Manju, is such a sweet and unassuming lady--you'd never know that she runs the show, because she leads her team and greets us customers with such warmth, grace and efficiency! Every time I step in, I'm greeted like family by the whole staff. And shoutout to Ernesto, Josh, Eric, Savanna and Besmay especially, who make redeeming my package slips feel like a breeze! They're always so helpful and quick, turning what could be a mundane task into a delightful experience. As expected there are moments of busyness in the store; but thanks to the new store remodel / layout, the additional staff members they've hired, and the efficiency of everyone there...the wait times have evaporated. Also, I absolutely love receiving email notifications whenever a new package arrives in my mailbox there. I needed to return 2 products to Amazon. Amazon suggested taking them to Whole Foods which is way across town. Instead I chose my favorite UPS Store just a mile down the road on Toyon Ave here in San Jose. I walked in and was greeted by THAO in a super cheerful manner. She read my QR code, took my things, gave me a receipt and sent me on my way. The people that work at this store are FANTASTIC including THAO!!! read more

I was afraid about parking given the location but the gods were in my corner that day. The spot right in front of the store opened up as I drove in. This store lost my TV. I dropped off a 65" tv that was going back to Amazon. They printed my receipt with the tracking number and that was the last of it. No updates after the label was created so I called after a few days and the lady was yelling over the phone that they don't have any boxes, so call the 800 number to file a claim and she ended the call. I'm sadden to see a review written only a few days ago mentioning Ernesto's rude demeanor. There's reviews dating back 2 years ago that mention the same thing. Sad. Just so so sad. i go to ups store i need to print out a shipping label and return my defective phone to amazon... i have never printed out a label before.... i ask the clerk politely telling him ive never done it before but he points me to the kiosk i try there but cant figure it out ... so once again i ask for help with no avail... i left package in hand... what happened to customer service... i do not recommend this store at all read more

Extremely rude staff, went to pick up package after two delivery attempts and the tracking stating that the pickup location was at this UPS. The staff rudely and condescendingly stated that the delivery was not made to their store because they are not a warehouse. So I called UPS immediately after and found out that this location refused my package for pick-up. Pretty obvious they don't care to work here. read more

This is my favorite UPS to go to, as Ernesto is always so kind and eager to help. The location itself is super convenient as it is located on the 3rd street side, right by 7-11, so you can't miss it. Parking is quick and easy, if you can't find it on the street, the parking garage on 4th street is right there. I love coming here as a majority of the workers are super friendly and they also take USPS packages for post office pick up. At times it does get crazy busy here and there's a line outside but for the most part, the workers are quick. With social distancing protocols and limited capacity, the lines always look super long, but I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes. Usually there's a a couple working at a time, so thankfully help is quick and efficient (for the most part). The floors are neatly and clearly labeled, so pay attention to the signs! Keep in mind they (the workers) are dealing with so many people throughout the day, so if they're taking a little bit longer to just, clean in between each guest, just relax. It's not a big deal - if you were in a rush, you should have come earlier, don't take it out on the workers. Ernesto is a gem - super efficient. He literally helps me zoom through all of my package needs, provides a receipt and holds a conversation, easily and quickly. I usually come in with a giant tote bag full of packages needing to go out or a little wagon full. He always makes the process speedy and convenient, which is why I'm giving this place a 5/5. read more

If you are coming for returns which require self kiosk or a simple return label, then it is worth going to. If you have any services you need to get done, it is super inefficient with bad work ethic. Tries to stall time because they get paid per hour and does not care for the customers. I suggest using this one for strictly a hub for returns. The customer service at this place other than the owner is very bad. I went by today trying to deliver an Amazon return and to drop off two personal items that I needed to mail via UPS and I will never return to the facility again. I had the misfortune of being attended by a short and very condescending individual whom I did not catch his name but he was short and bald. I advised him that I was making a return from which I was provided instructions by Amazon to take to their facility and they wanted to charge me for boxes which I was not supposed to be charge for as per my confirmation with Amazon after my call. In a very condescending and sarcastic tone he kept on repeating talk to the owner this is her right there. I did ask the owner and the owner was very courteous and professional pool but his bad attitude completely discourage me from ever doing any business with this particular UPS store. Not to mention that the entryway for this location apparently houses large got garbage dumpsters and it smells of rancid food materials and more all throughout this location sidewalk and street in front of the facility To the owners response: the trash bins weren't out. It just smelled like rancid liquids and foods out front. I've smelled this when going to this UPS before. Also I called 24 minutes before arriving and your staff member told me it would be boxed by your staff , and no charge is related. I had dropped off a prepaid next day air package at 12:04PM on 1/4, plenty of time to make the next day air pickup time of 5:00PM that evening. This was blood sample, so it needed to get out in a timely manner. On 1/5, when I had noticed it was never scanned in as being picked up by a driver, I called to make sure it had went out. Ended up speaking to the manager over the phone who swore everything was picked up because he was there personally and talked in circles about what could have happened.. Low and behold, the tracking gets updated that it was picked up a few hours later after this phone call, after it was sworn to have been picked up the previous day.. Do not swear to a customer something you can't verify and then gets called out by your own tracking system. read more

Probably the worse experience I have had in any mail store. The person servicing me was soooooooooooo bad. She kept asking me questions and i answered the same onesultiple times. And after about 20 minutes putting in information she says she can't send it that way because it was a PO box. She should really know her business and check the address on the envelope before she gave me choices. Then she says she can only do UDPS and i had to wait again for another register. I went in to return a package that had a prepaid label. Of the four people working there, nobody knew how to process it. After a while, I got frustrated and left for another office. At that point, one of the employees called me a "bitch", and told me to "fuck off"!! Nice quality customer service. I will also report it at the head office HORRIBLE!!! read more

We run our small business right down the street from this location so this place is convenient for us when we have to choose UPS over USPS. Sometimes the wait can be long just to drop off packages to get a receipt in the evening but the staff are professional and friendly. Huge shoutout to Nia and Steven for the assistance as always as they raised my experience from a 2 star to a 4. They are very accomodating and have been very helpful submitting claims or when I drop off the wrong packages. read more

I recently came upon this UPS location for fingerprinting and I must say.. their attitude in the beginning isn't the best vibe. As I first walked in I was greeted by the person who was in the front then was helped by their manager, Ernesto. He came off as a little bit rude, but while he was helping me with the finger printing we joked around and laughed. There was another person working there who came out from the back room- she was an elderly lady who came off as rude and disrespectful. She had an attitude as she asked me "what are you doing?" In regards to me taking pictures for yelp. Then proceeded to ask me "do you need help?". The UPS store location itself is clean and tidy. There wasn't a mess anywhere to be found and they still had Halloween decorations up. Everything seems to be organized and in placed. There was not much people as I walked in, but after I walked in there were a few who came into the store afterwards. read more

I was just by this store for a fingerprinting. I don't know the guy's name but he was very professional. I talked to him on the phone as well before I arrived in person and he was very knowledgeable. The whole process took me about 10 minutes and it was definitely a very mellow experience. It was explained to me how things are going to progress from there and what to expect. I've always gotten kind, friendly service from everyone here, but I was especially prompted to write this review for a recent visit. Ernesto was very helpful with trying to figure things out using the computer for printing documents, being patient with me and double checking the number of stamps needed to mail my letter. During the visit, they had to tell someone off for coming in without a mask - I know things can be really tough on the service industry these days and I really appreciate them making an effort to do the right thing. I imagine they have to deal with all sorts of things like this on a day-to-day basis and I'm really grateful they still make an effort to provide warm service.
