a table and chairs in a restaurant

As I walked in the door it was as if I walked through a time window back to a simpler time in the past. This is a great little diner In downtown Ringgold just off the Main Street. Upon entry there was the obligatory table of gentlemen discussing politics and a scattering of people through out the diner eating breakfast at 7:00am. Outside was a parking lot full of trucks. If you want an insider tip always pick diners that have a lot of pickup trucks. That's the true test of a diners food quality. The bigger and dirtier the trucks are the better the food will be. The server took my order and within a few minutes came out a beautiful plate of sausage, eggs, 2 biscuits and a bowl of gravy. If there is a better way to start the day I don't know what it is. The sausage was thick and tasty but not too salty as sausage can be at other places. The biscuits were fluffy and cooked perfectly too. After topping the biscuits with the gravy I had a meal that would satisfy anyone. Great job and it was priced fairly as well.

Pam's Place has a very welcoming, friendly atmosphere. The food is always fresh and piping hot. It's always consistent and very satisfying.

If you're in the mood for some southern home cooking, look no further! I haven't been overly impressed recently with any of the meat and three restaurants I've been to, and I'm glad to say this one turned that around! I ordered the chicken casserole, which is a special on Fridays. It had great flavor and was delicious! The mac and cheese and pinto beans were nothing overly special but still good! Service was fast and the food was affordable, I'll definitely be back here next time I'm in Ringgold!

We started with the Brick Oven Pretzels and then ended up getting the Country Benedicts with hashbrowns, the Chicken & Waffles with bacon bits in the side, the French Toast Platter with side of bacon. The restaurant is cool. Open space with a full bar. They also have two conference rooms for hosting large groups. There are also several tvs with sports playing. It took quite a while to get our food, but it was hot. I tried the French Toast and it was still soggy in the middle, not completely done. Wasn't bad, just not how I like them cooked. My son must have liked the Chicken n Waffles because they did not last long, lol. I didn't mind my order. I didn't read that description through for the Country Benedicts but I'm not disappointed. I also inquired about catering and was told they do cater and have a smoker, pizza oven and that they go heavy on appetizers. Very nice!

I had the brisket and thought it was pretty good until I f noticed a black hair looking piece in my mouth.... We could not determine what it was and neither could the restaurant staff. What got me was they did not apologize or offer to replace the sandwich... they just said"we don't know what that is" and acted like everything was normal. They charged us for the food ( which my wife is mad because I paid) and went on like it was more our problem than theirs. So, I obviously do not recommend this place... unless you like mystery items in your sandwich.

One time my parents and I came here after dinner for their gelato, and it was so delicious. We were all very impressed with the consistency and how smooth it was. So I've only had their gelato after all these years. This time I came for brunch with a friend on Sunday morning. It was packed and we got on the waiting list for a table. Wait time wasn't too bad actually. My friend and I both ordered the Hodgepodge Hash and I subbed the sausage for chicken sausage. Everything was absolutely amazing. I wish I had come here sooner. I loved everything about my meal. It was flavorful, dynamic, full of texture. It had that spice from the serrano peppers, crispy and flavorful potatoes, and the sauce tied it all together. I love savory breakfast, and that was it. Now I'm hungry and missing my previous meal just writing about it haha. Afterwards, we got gelato! I was pleasantly surprised that the gelato came with two scoops because I originally just wanted the coffee flavored one. So I had a scoop of Coffee + Cream and Pistachio. Our gelato was so tasty. I love anything coffee so this one was good, and the Pistachio one was nice and light. It had a subtle Pistachio creamy taste. Just as before, the gelato was smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. Service was great, our waiter was very friendly and super helpful with our food preferences. I have no complaints at all about our experience, and I love every single thing we ordered. I can't imagine a better place to spend Sunday brunch. I look forward to the next time I'm back, thank you!

Please take this review with a grain of salt. Today was probably not an exemplary day for Milk &…read moreHoney. Mother's Days are challenging, but I think where they hurt themselves the most is that they do not have a method to take reservations or even call ahead seating. Wait times were often in excess of an hour listening to other people waiting to be seated. That's a horrible experience on its face, and the management of this restaurant needs to do much much better or just close on Mother's Day. Next, we'll get to the food. I doubt it was a shining example of what they are capable of. I got the Shakshuka and it was mediocre. I'm not expecting it to be as good as what I would get in Tel Aviv, and I've had the real thing in Tel Aviv. But to be honest, the eggs came out nearly hard-boiled not poached. And the eggs are one of the stars of the show for this dish. If you don't get them right, the entire dish fails. Next will touch on the chicken and waffles. The observation from my tablemate was that it was dry and he didn't even eat it all. The same thing can be said for my other tablemate who had the chicken biscuit. The biscuit was exemplary, but the chicken was dry and actually overcooked. Then there were the omelettes, I don't believe they were impressive in any way and the people that ordered them agree. For those of us at the table that ordered coffee, it was rather strong. I normally like strong coffee, but this was borderline Turkish coffee, and there wasn't enough cream available to mask the potency. The service was also stretched thin. Our server, Destiny, did her best, but she was waiting too many tables. Having once been a waitermyself I have a special affinity for Service staff who are asked to do too much. We left her a good tip, but I'm sure she is capable of much better service than what she was allowed to deliver. Finally, the overwhelming crowd made the restaurant feel claustrophobic. The noise level was far too high, and we could barely hear one another at our table and we were sitting very close to one another. I don't place the blame on the kitchen, staff, or the wait staff, or even the greeters. This was a fail of management, plain and simple. They made no contingency plans for that many people and should have anticipated a larger crowd on Mother's Day. Management -I challenge you to do better!!! We will come back during a normal Service day to see if you can perform better, but I encourage you, as owners and managers, to stop setting your staff up for failure, which is what you did!

If one can't walk that far there is parking around the warehouse that Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen and other shops are located in. It was a quiet afternoon around 2 pm. Our waitress was prompt and answered our questions. I was happy to see they had gluten free bread/buns. I ordered the Whisky and onion smash burger on a gluten free bun and it was so good I tried to replicate the topping with what I had back at the Airbnb we were staying at. When I get home I'll check out the ingredients better and give it another try. I had a side of green beans nicely seasoned with bacon as my side. My husband, bless his heart, ordered the honey pecan chicken salad sandwich on gluten free bread so I could taste it. It was also delicious and he had a side of home fries to die for. We would definitely come back and try more of their menu if in the area again.
