Fish, hush puppies and roasted corn

Stopped in Ringgold because they have a fast charger across the street. We went into Jefferson's to grab a quick lunch. There appeared to be a bit of a wait for tables but bar seating was open so we got right in. It's not exactly earning a Michelin star but, as far as eating along an interstate, this was a better option than most. Some of the options are reasonably healthy as well and portion sizes were not excessive. I got the fish and tried the new roasted corn. The fish was slightly more than nuggets which meant that I didn't even need a fork for that. Total time in the restaurant was about 20 minutes so they were super fast and we were back on the road. I would definitely stop here over any fast food option.

Finally something other than a meat and three in downtown Ringgold. The menu is somewhat large but its all "bar food". I love the atmosphere but if you are trying to avoid carbs its pretty hard to eat dinner here. I found one item the hamburger steak that met the dietary requirements and it was good. Service was outstanding too. I just wish they offered a few more options for someone not wanting to eat fried everything.

Excess of the spinach artichoke dip that is on the oysters Rockefeller.

Oyster Rockefeller was barely warm. Had to send back to be heated. If you like spinach dip then you might like them cause that is all you taste and the water. Waitress was quick to get payment but never asked how things were or refill drinks. I won't be back. For the coat I'll drive further and pay the same for much better quality.

First time and will become a regular! This awesome atmosphere was perfect for a Saturday afternoon walk around Ringgold. Loved the staff who was right on with service and food. Spot On for any day!

SO happy to try this newish restaurant in Ringgold... we were really pleased as the place is closeby. The friendly service is top notch, always checking on you and refilling drinks. Timing of the dining experience is perfect too from drinks to apps to main course to dessert.... spot on! The decor is awesome... sports and lots of TVs! Polished bar and liquors displayed really well. Outside eating area too.... not sure if they allow dogs though? We started with a glass of Cabernet and Jalapeño Cheese Bites. These were really great, crispy on the outside and the homemade sauce was killer good. We had a Buffalo Shrimp Basket with sweet potato fries and the Shrimp Poboy with fries. Both meals were wonderful! Plenty of food and delicious! The sweet potato fries were definitely sliced and made from scratch... served piping hot, crunchy outside and tender inside... with a side of sweet dippin sauce. WONDERFUL! Buffalo shrimp were great flavor, but the crust was a bit soggy... still nice flavor. The Shrimp Poboy was served with a nice stack of lettuce, fresh tomato and pickles... really delicious. Dessert was a Blondie Brownie! We devoured it... scrumptious with a scoop of ice cream. Definitely will go back again... great place you should try!

Food was okay, onion rings over cooked and greasy, tasted like cooked in old oil. Business very slow, no alcohol service for a sports bar type restaurant. Sign said temporarily could not serve alcohol. Most likely will not return.

We first started going to Jefferson's when there was a location in downtown Chattanooga. That location closed and we thought we had lost our favorite wings place. My husband found out through a friend that a NEW Jefferson's had opened in Ringold and we took off to try it out! Man!! They topped any and all expectations we had! Ringold is only about 20 or so minutes from us which is farther than the old location but we'd take the new location any day! The delish wings and really nice new location make it an easy drive to commit to! Lauren was the first person we encountered and she is THE BEST!!! We love visiting her! She makes a good visit, a GREAT one! The entire staff is really friendly and FUN! Jefferson's is still our FAVORITE wing place! They have a full selection of flavors. Our favorites are the garlic parm and the hot yaki So if you're looking for great wings in a fun, new location, I recommend taking the trip to the charming town of Ringold and enjoy!! And oh, if you enjoy the sports ball, they usually have a few TVs programed to games.

Great spot to relax, enjoy a cold one and the wings are on point!! Great crisp and flavor! My wife is not a huge chicken wing fan but loves the crispy double dipped wings! The turbo charged are fire! Just the right amount of heat!!! The service has always been great!!

Industrial floor cleaner aroma while you eat? A given. Asked to sit in a certain section but was told it was unavailable due to mopping--only to watch a couple and a Latin family get seated there minutes later. This has happened more than once, and it's hard not to notice the pattern. Drinks? $3.99 across the board, from fountain soda to Jarritos. To-go orders come with a "convenience" fee. Tip with a card? Another surcharge, and the servers don't even get those tips directly. Pizza: worth the hype. Everything else? A mess, literally and figuratively.

Parking is pretty decent for the area, with at least one handicapped space right in front of the entrance door. Walking in was surprisingly cozy, with wood on the walls and muted colors for the seating. We were greeted on entry and seated quickly. Seating is a mix of tables and booths. Our waitress left menus and took our drink order as we sat down. The menu is rather extensive. The primary cuisine is Mexican, but they also offer traditional recipe pizzas as well as chicken wings. Many dishes are cooked in a wood fired oven. Our drinks came quickly, and we still needed time to make our selections. After a few more minutes, our waitress returned and we placed our orders. We did not receive any salsa and chips for the table, which was a bit surprising for a Mexican restaurant. We decided to order their homemade guacamole to start. The appetizer came out in maybe five minutes. The portion was much smaller than expected, and the guacamole was bland. It needed a good addition of both salt and garlic to improve the flavor. In addition, the chips were straight from the bag, without even being warmed. The food took about ten minutes or so to be brought to the table. The Pollo a la lena is two wood fired pieces of chicken, along with salad, refried beans, and rice. It also comes with your choice of wheat or corn tortillas. The chicken was tender and juicy, very well spiced with additional flavor from the wood oven. The refried beans are not the typical gray mush but actually have noticeable black beans. The rice was typical, but included corn, peas, and carrot pieces for additional flavor. The salad included crisp lettuce and diced tomatoes, onions, and jalapenos. The corn tortillas are made in house and compared well to the other components of the dish. I would absolutely order this outstanding dish again. The pollo loco was another good dish. The ratio of chicken to rice was good, and the amount of cheese was less than typical, which allowed more of the other flavors to come through. The asada torta was also good. The ingredients were plentiful compared to the bread, and everything seemed fresh and very flavorful. Even the french fries were well made. The chimichanga was the least liked dish, but still tasted good. It was prepared well and had a nice cheese topping. On it's own it would be a good choice, only suffering in comparison to the other outstanding dishes. One word of caution: the salsa accompanying the pollo a la lena and the torta is surprisingly spicy. The heat is deceptive, coming on slowly and lingering awhile. Although I was surprised at first taste, I included it in every bite of chicken, so it is addictive. Based on this visit, I definitely want to try more options from the menu, especially the pizzas.

It took quite a while to get our food, but it was hot. I tried the French Toast and it was still soggy in the middle, not completely done. Wasn't bad, just not how I like them cooked. My son must have liked the Chicken n Waffles because they did not last long, lol. I didn't mind my order. I didn't read that description through for the Country Benedicts but I'm not disappointed. So there was a good-sized parking lot with alot of parking spaces. I got the Chicken Pad Thai at medium spice and a Thai Tea with boba. My friend and I also split eggrolls. I have to say, those eggrolls were phenomenal. They were just perfect in every way, they had a very crispy golden texture on the outside. The filling was very flavorful, the meat was seasoned well. I loved everything about it and out of the many Asian restaurants I've been to in the area, their eggrolls are my favorite and at the top of my list. My Chicken Pad Thai was decent. The spice level was perfect, flavor was good, and the portion size was very nice. For me, I feel like flavor could've been a little stronger, it just felt weak to me. My entree was okay, not bad at all by any means, but it just wasn't my favorite. It didn't stand out to me. I'd probably go to another place for their Pad Thai rather than here. The Thai Tea itself was delicious, it was sweet, creamy, and still had that Thai Tea flavor that shined through. However the boba/tapioca pearls were very tough. It was very tough and hard to chew. It didn't taste like a fresh batch, they weren't soft and chewy at all so I'm assuming it's from an older batch from a couple hours ago. The inside was alright, there were many tables to sit and eat at. Once we got inside, the server told us to sit anywhere we'd like and order at the front. But once I made my way to the cashier to order, the floor was very sticky. It was noticeable with every step I took. We had a decent experience, but I'm not sure I'd return.
