Excellent service, the snacks were a perfect match for all the types of beer that were recommended to us. Thank you, guys!

When exploring Bainbridge Island, this is a great spot to grab a beer-even better on the patio in nicer weather. When we stopped in, it was a warm day and the Kolsch definitely hit the spot.

Was going through an afternoon in Bainbridge and needed to kill some time before dinner, so I decided to stop by for a beer at Bainbridge Brewing Alehouse which was a positive experience! Although they did not have a kitchen or any real food to pair with the beer, they had an extensive beer list ranging from light beers to more bold stouts while even having some non alcoholic kombuchas as well. I went with the winter ale and thought it was great! The ambiance is extremely welcoming with tons of seating as well as cards/board games that people are able to play while they have their drinks and enjoy light snacks. For me, the service was extremely relaxed and down to earth which was nice as I never felt rushed out to go to my next place or to be moved for another party of people heading in. Overall, great experience and would recommend to anyone around the island looking to grab a beer!

Nice brewery! It's located downtown. They have a good selection of beers and ciders. I had the blonde which was light and crisp. We shared the smoked salmon and Gouda which was a perfect snack. I'd stop by again sometime!

Whenever I go to a brewery, my first instinct is to order a beer flight. I tried out a flight of four flavors: Yorkshire Nitro Pale Ale, Kommuter Kolsch, Cider- Channel Marker (Spiced Blackberry), and Cider- Dragon's Head (Wild Fermented). I'm not the biggest expert on beers, but I'll talk about my winner out of these four selections: the Cider- Channel Marker (Spice Blackberry). This beer had an appropriate amount of bitterness, and I felt like every sip was like eating a freshly-picked blackberry. I also noticed that this beer was on the fizzier side, which I always enjoy in my beverage. Don't be shy to ask the bartender for recommendations. I found him super helpful because I don't have the most experienced palate for beer tasting. The atmosphere of the alehouse is cozy.

Stopped here on our way back to the ferry. The bartender was a great guy who gave us a lot of good insight. Wish they had their Barleywine on tap at this location, because we didn't have time to hike up to their taproom. Anyway their Battle Point Stout and Nitro Cream Ale were solid beers. They also had some guest beers available in addition to their own creations. I recommend this as a stop if you take the ferry across to the island. Very cool seating area and lots of neat swag available.

Quick beer-tenders, tasty beer, and live music... what more could you want? I tried several beers and they are all clean which is rare imo. They do a great job here. I will definitely return next time I'm in the area. I came back for another before turning in for the night! They also have a small selection of snacks in case you're hungry.

Very conveniently located, even walking distance from the ferry, great stop on your way into downtown, next to the art museum. Friday late afternoon/evening's they have live music to enjoy with their good selection of brews, wines, and ciders, great seating inside and out , outside you can even hear a few more bands playing at the museum or toward downtown. I had already tried a few of their tasty brews, during previous visits to the area, as they are available in cans locally , so this time , actually at the brewery I tried the Clear Water Reserve IPA... so good! Just a great balanced IPA, hoppy but not overly, very refreshing and crisp... worth getting a crowler to enjoy at home. Service was very friendly, helpful, and quick on the pours. Definitely recommend stopping by for a cool one while enjoying the fun downtown of Brainbridge. So catch that ferry outta Seattle and enjoy the cool ride over, stop in, enjoy a few beers and take an adventure through Brainbridge downtown, you will not regret it! Cheers!

Went here for a quick drink before the ferry back to Seattle. Unlike other reviews, I did not have a bad experience at all, though I only got one drink as there was only 30 min before the next ferry, and we brought a car. I asked the bartender for recommendations and got the Kommuter Kolsch, which is quite crisp and refreshing. At $7.50 for a pint, it was not too bad. It was one of the easier beers to drink. I also liked the aesthetic of this place - some cabin-like vibes. There are a lot of wine and breweries around - you likely won't go wrong with any of them, based on the busy-ness of each one, so take your pick and I would like to know which one is the most favorite!

Beer. Warm. Dog friendly. Great bartender. That's all you really need for a great spot. We took a plane, train (rail) a boat and needed a drink before jumping in a car for 45mins. This was a great spot! Around that 545 hour it had a good amount of locals inside for a Thursday and being a tiny town. Beers on tap. Beers in a bottle. Beers to purchase and the ciders too.

Just stopped in for a quick one as this was right next to the Bainbridge Museum and shares some of the same space. Nice variety of beers and they also do flights so that you may sample some of the local favorites in one seating. Pleasant bartender and fast and friendly service.

It seems to be a favorite place for families to gather during those times, which can make finding a seat difficult. By early evening, most folks have cleared out, and it's pretty empty as the 9:00 hour approaches. We particularly like sitting upstairs since there's pinball close by (four machines), which we used quite a bit on our last visit. And, of course, there's their beer, which I love. My favorite is the Eagle Harbor IPA, their signature West Coast IPA. Their Kömmuter Kölsch is also one of my favorites (and likewise my girlfriend's favorite). I frequently buy cans of both to take home (which you can also buy at the Safeway on High School Road, and at the alehouse on Winslow near the ferry terminal).

Stopped in for a bite of dinner after we were torn between another local pub (near Safeway) or here. We both had such fond memories of Docs and that led us to our choice. Got seated quickly but it took kinda forever to get even water delivered much less a drink order placed. We decided to make our dinner order too because of the drink delay. Hubby was too happy that they had his fav beer - black butte porter -available so her ordered that. My Chardonnay was from WA which is not my fav but it was a choice of $11/glass or $20/glass for an overpriced, under-tasting CA option. Our dinner came almost too quickly. 3 piece fish and chips. First impression: wow, that's hardly any fries. Second impression: wow, how long have these been sitting out. You can always depend on Docs fries to be amazing but not this time. They were limp, soggy and just about inedible. We did let our waiter know and he did reorder us a batch but they came almost at the end of our dinner tho. BUT these were the fries we rave about at Docs... hot, crispy, real potatoes. Yum! Now the fish: the cod itself was perfect. Thick, fresh, hot, moist but I don't know what this 'crusting' is. It's like it's been rolled in seasoned cracker crumbs then fried sure it's crispy but it's like it's encased in edible armor. Not a fan. The batter they used to have was so superior to this. I was disappointed to be honest. Upon paying and leaving hubby says: well, we won't do that again. It's too bad because it was such a regular hangout for us with my folks who just about everyone knew by name. It's also my first time back since they passed (2021) so I really was missing them. Not the same on many levels. Even the crack sauce wasn't 'right.' I've never left any behind in the cup before...I did this time.
