I wandered into Bainbridge Bistro by chance, not realizing they had just rebranded a few days earlier. What a wonderful surprise. This was probably the friendliest experience I've had with a restaurant owner or staff since moving to Washington five years ago. I dined alone and ended up having a genuinely lovely conversation with the wine tender about food, running restaurants, and even Tacoma spots I recommended--something I'll remember fondly. The food was excellent. The scallops were perfectly cooked, served in a thin but creamy garlic sauce. The spinach pies were exactly what I've been craving since leaving the East Coast: flaky filo pastry with a rich, cheesy spinach filling. Even the coffee, served French press style, was smooth and satisfying--I only needed a touch of sugar and cream. The atmosphere is just as thoughtful as the food. The lighting is dim in the best way--soothing and easy on the eyes--paired with soft instrumental music that creates a calm, elegant environment. Fresh roses at every table are a beautiful touch. It's the kind of place I'd recommend both for a romantic date night and for a quiet, restorative meal if you (or your neurodivergent friends) need a break from overstimulation. Bainbridge Bistro feels personal, welcoming, and refined all at once. I can't wait to return.

What a wonderful surprise! My wife and I came here to celebrate our anniversary, having never been before but intrigued by the menu, and as vegetarians I can now say that the food is SUPERB! From the potatoes to the cauliflower to the hummus, incredible, but the highlight of the savory was the mushroom dish, and the evening was finished with a delicious creme brûlée and coffee. Great food is one thing, and this place has an abundance of that, but the service was what sealed the deal for this evening. Our server, Adam, was a delight. So kind, so knowledgeable, and a pleasure to chat with throughout the evening. We will be back, thank you!!

What a hidden gem! This place might be small but the flavors are huge! We got the Taste of España deal and every single thing that we ate was delicious! My favorite part was the empanadas and the churros. The servers (possibly owners) were super friendly and accommodating (half our party got stuck on the ferry and came very late), and didn't bother us for the table. We don't live close by but will definitely be back!

Run don't walk to have Tapas with Sonia the owner! This place is hidden but worth the find if you enjoy authentic Spanish Tapas freshly made. The place is small, what a blessing because Sonia makes you feel like Family. The Spanish wine offered is splendid. We wet our palette with two of Sonia's red blends and a garnacha. We were served plates of lamb pita, pork skewers, clams with chorizo, potatoes, falafel, and garlic shrimp. All superbly flavorful and filling. Sonia studied her culinary prowess in Spain and is sharing her delicacies here in Bainbridge, where she was born and raised. Let's not forget her kitchen staff who must create these dishes. Pass all the other establishments offering diner fare, American burgers, wood fire pizza, and street tacos to enjoy a taste of España. This review is for anybody who wishes to hear my opinion...

Bainbridge Tapas was an exciting small eatery, something Bainbridge desperately needs more of in every way. Few tables, great service, and spectacular food for prices normal people can afford. I really appreciate the attention to detail on the portion sizes and the prices that reflect that which enable a true tapas experience. I tasted so many amazing flavors, and they really knocked that out of the park for us. The kitchen looked lively, the staff was friendly and hospitable and didn't hover or pester but didn't forget we exist, ingredients were all clearly top shelf, and even the iced tea was brewed in-house. Most places on the island don't even do that. I can't wait to go back for date nights, lunches, quick bites, or drinks.

We came to Snoqualmie to see the falls, and then decided to check out the local flavor. We visited the brewery next door and happened to see this spot on our way out. We have a tequila and mezcal lover in our group and it happened to be close to her birthday, so we had to check it out. There is a hall connecting the brewery to the bar where they have a shared bathroom, but they are two separate businesses. The place was empty in the early afternoon we came, but more people came in eventually. We happened to have the owner Marta take care of us and she was such a great host. She and some locals were super friendly and gave us great suggestions and chatted with us and told us about the area. It always makes me all warm and fuzzy inside when we can just sit with the locals and have good conversations. Though I am not a tequila drinker, I was impressed by what this small town bar had stocked. A couple of friends went the tequila route and got some cool creations. My friend still talks about the tequila old fashioned he had in Snoqualmie. Since I just had beer, I stuck with it and got a local cider called Two Towns Marionberry Cider. I found it to delicious and refreshing. We didn't eat, they do have a pretty good menu of small bites. Overall, my friends and I really enjoyed this place and glad we took a chance on it. I would definitely come back the next time I am in Snoqualmie.

Tacos, one critique (same know it all) the pork was more like shredded pork than the advertised pork belly. Still good, just not what was expected. A mezcal cocktail with huckleberry (grandson's name) was superb, and the margarita was great. Nice decor, upbeat music and vibe, and the waitstaff was on point. Try it, you'll like it. If you don't, there's always more tequila.

We started with the patatas bravas, gambas pil pil (butter garlic shrimp), oysters (both raw and cooked), and a hummus platter, and everything was excellent. The true standout, however, was the smoked salmon Alfredo--an absolutely incredible dish and one of the best pastas I've had in a long time. We added some chopped jalapeños for extra heat, but honestly, it was fantastic even on its own. The dessert was equally impressive, with a cake that was incredibly moist and the perfect way to end the meal. The wine selection deserves special mention as well. They offer a great variety of Spanish wines that pair beautifully with the menu. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. The atmosphere is one of Octapas Café's biggest strengths. The restaurant features a beautiful, spacious dining room, plenty of outdoor seating, and even a private event space for larger gatherings and celebrations. Whether you're stopping by for tapas, seafood, pasta, or wine, Octapas Café delivers a memorable experience from start to finish.

I've encountered her before -- she isn't rude, just not at all welcoming. She asked us to wait for a moment for'something' which turned out to be stocking water bottles and napkins. We felt like an intrusion to tasks she could've worked on after seating us. We asked to sit on the patio in the sun - she seemed annoyed by this but acquiesced. The patio was quaint and the weather helped make it enjoyable. We were greeted by our server (wish I had her name - older lady in tie-dye shirt) she was welcoming, helpful with the menu, and very friendly! We ordered cocktails and brunch and enjoyed both! Dishes (Smoked Salmon Lox & Goats do Roam Tart) & Drinks were all good - see photos for more info. So go -- get past the hostess and you'll enjoy the rest!!! PS - I do remember from a past visit, the Beignets were good!
