DO NOT GO HERE. I say that so strongly because the service was the most terrible. It took forever for them to notice us and actually sit us down. Then, it took ages before they actually took our order and we were looking at each other in disbelief because we definitely felt ignored. And the drinks were disgusting. We were so glad we didn't bother ordering food because the menu was so limited and none of the options seemed appealing. Also the place isn't that well decorated, a lot of it seems very dated and old and not vintage or whatever vibes they were going for and the views are non existent, you can barely see the water. What the HECK is happening! I have lived here for more than 30 years... I eat at pikes Place market at all the different haunts and all the different eateries every chance I can get. After the Seattle Seahawks football game... We walked down to the market, and we accidentally saw this cute place all lit up in lights. We stumbled into the darkly lit, very friendly, romantic Portuguese Little find. It is a gem hidden in a small, non-descriptive, stairwell alleyway. I don't even know if I could find it again... I hope I can because I'm coming back. The drinks were unusual and super delicious. The red wine was fabulous. I believe they only serve red wine... I think they mentioned only red wine goes well with our Portuguese dishes. OK, what I need to know is who is the MasterChef in the back hiding. They are phenomenal. The food was so juicy, so yummy, dripping with flavor, absolutely out of this world. I never thought I would say this, but the fish and potato croquettes were incredible. I actually had to order them twice. The food was sensational. The service was fantastic. They were so welcoming and so lovely. They didn't mind that we were wearing Seahawks jerseys after a great win, in their charming little romantic haunt. We will be back. A bit hidden in Pike Place but the instructions on the website make it very clear to find! Service is quick and friendly. It's a dark intimate setting, great for drinks and little bites. They make their brussel sprouts perfectly and every dish came out hot and well-made. Great happy hour specials, including wine and a delicious smash burger. The remainder of their food is Portuguese-inspired so we enjoyed the salted cod croquettes and calamari. I also tried the Ginja cherry-flavored liqueur that they make in-house. It was so very good! It can be a wee bit confusing to find the restaurant when coming from inside Pike Place Market but the Lonely Siren website provided good instructions. The easiest way from my perspective is to go up the steps from Western Avenue. The restaurant has a very nice glass-enclosed patio dining area as well as plenty of space in the interior. I like the vibe of the restaurant and appreciated the friendly service of its staff. Lonely Siren is on my list of favorite Happy Hour locations. read more

Great happy hour spot! Was hungry & thirsty midafternoon on a Monday and wanted to check out their happy hour. It was well worth the scavenger hunt to find this lovely spot on Floor 2 of the Fish Market. They had $5 draft brews that were unique and good! I had to try the smash burger on the happy hour menu, and it was delicious! We also shared the Brussels sprouts, which were amazing. The ambiance was cozy and eclectic, but plenty of space to sit at the bar or the window. Amado (bartender) & Catalina (hostess/server) were both wonderful; kind and welcoming. It's such a hidden gem! Went here for a girls night on Friday. I wasn't expecting the food at a bar to be this good. We had the batatas bravas and Brussels sprouts.. and bunch of other dishes.. everything was delicious and tapas style. For drinks we had smoke in the garden and lady of lourdes. both were 10/10. My sick friend tried Poncha drink which was too good. Smoke in the garden had that perfect balance of smoky and citrusy (and yuss my love for mezcals came back in full force). The lady of lourdes was so unique with herbal notes. Presentation was 10/10. The vibe was perfect; not too loud music. You can catch up without shouting over music and talk. Food wise- we got 4 dishes: bread (too crispy but soft), fried greens (don't sleep on this, it was crunchy and flavorful), octopus (solid cook and comes with potatoes but a little too tart for me), shrimp (a smidge spicy but complex), pickles (nice, crunchy, sweet, reminiscent of Vietnamese picked veg). Also ordered a custom soda and it was sweet and refreshing didn't taste the bourbon cask. Got the Portuguese egg tart and that was under whelming- it was underbaked, oily and so sweet. During my visit to Seattle back in July 2025, I walked from the Hyatt Regency Seattle to Pike Place Market one night solely to get dinner at Lonely Siren. When I arrived, I was greeted and directed to a table by the bartender. She informed me that the kitchen would be closing soon, and she would send my server over ASAP to get my food order. About 10 minutes later, the server arrived at my table and told me the kitchen was now closed. I then patiently and calmly recapped my conversation with the bartender, but the server did not budge. She instead threw her colleague under the bus and implied the bartender was incompetent for suggesting I had arrived in time to order food. She also said the cooks in the kitchen would be furious with her if she allowed me to order. Considering the server never apologized for taking 10 minutes to greet me or seemed to consider how this situation would impact me (as a tourist), I decided to leave the bar instead of enduring any further gaslighting. As a Las Vegas Metro resident, I am accustomed to consistently receiving world-class hospitality when dining out and having 24/7 access to exceptional food. So, I found the server's dismissive attitude particularly egregious, and I was thoroughly perplexed by the entire situation. When I later shared this experience with a friend who accompanied me on the trip, he immediately responded by saying, "I don't think customer service is their thing in Seattle." He then shared his own experience of waiting 30-45 minutes for a server to close out his check at dinner. Through a quick Google search, we learned about regional socioeconomic politics that seem to be negatively impacting customer service in the city such as Seattle Freeze culture. I actually worked in the hospitality industry as a server and bartender for four years while I was in college, so I am well aware of the demands of working in hospitality. I'm also incredibly forgiving with my tips and Yelp ratings because I understand that we're all human and that mistakes happen. So, please take this as a cautionary tale, and remember that one negative experience can have a significant impact. read more

The Loney Siren is an awesome sort of hidden spot in Pike Place Market. We were lured there by some fun instagram videos! I enjoyed drinks in their little atrium/patio and it was lovely! The bartenders were very welcoming and friendly. They have a pretty good happy hour deal and great, creative cocktails. I didn't try the food. read more

One of my favorite places for anything meat-driven. For an app, the marinated olives are to die for, as are their House pickles. Shrimp Mozambique is genuinely my favorite; the clams are so good, and the grilled sardines are amazing! Once, the octopus was tender; the last time, tough. Batatas Bravas are amazing, Crushed Marbles - who doesn't love good potatoes! Favorites: Steak Skewers, Piri-Pops, and Kale salad. Keep up the good work! Stopped by once before after the kitchen was closed. Glad we stopped today. The food was deliciously special. The Crushed Marble Potatoes were the best take on Potatoes Bravos that we have had. The salty vinegary flavor was killer. Pickled vegetables were flavorful and fresh. The seared scallop special was perfectly seared - rich but not too rich. We were really looking forward to trying this restaurant -- I had read great reviews and looked through the photos several times before our visit. Unfortunately, while the food was solid, the overall experience was overshadowed by extremely poor service. It took over 40 minutes to receive a cocktail, and our food was served before any drinks arrived -- something I've never experienced in a sit-down restaurant. I understand that places get busy, but there should be procedures in place to ensure guests still feel taken care of. To their credit, they did try to make it right by taking 10% off the bill. But to be honest, that felt like a minimal gesture considering how disappointing the experience was. I'm not a combative person, but at that point, someone from leadership really should have stepped in and taken full responsibility for how the night went. It's a shame, because I had such high hopes for this place -- but unfortunately, the service left a lasting negative impression. read more

A very cool and cozy bar spot tucked away in the lower level of Pike Place Market. I love how they have a greenhouse section to enjoy the sunnier days but the inside is also very vibey. Menu features numeral unique drinks and tapas-style dishes. All the drinks we got lookd and tasted amazing. The food is always incredible, with plenty of amazing choices--though the fresh bread, perfectly cooked steaks, and Tempranillo wine are our personal standouts. Dessert is a must every time! May 14, 2025, We had a reservation this evening at Lonely Siren to celebrate a friend's birthday, and it turned out to be an unforgettable dining experience. Tucked away in a somewhat hidden spot, this gem of a restaurant offers a vibrant and cozy atmosphere with a beautifully designed covered interior patio that sets the mood just right. While parking can be a bit of a challenge, there are several paid lots nearby that make it manageable. From the start, the service was attentive and welcoming. Although the restaurant's policy states that a 20% gratuity is added for groups of six or more, we were a party of five and still had it included in our bill. While this was a bit unexpected, the service truly was exceptional, so we didn't mind. We ordered a wide variety of dishes, and everything we tasted was absolutely delicious. For Petiscos, we enjoyed Bread, Marinated Olives, Marcona Almonds, House Pickles, Crushed Marbles (punched marble potatoes with molho cru and sea salt), Conservas Portuguesas (tinned Portuguese sardines with crostini), Fries with Eyes (whole fried Spanish anchovies with garlic aioli and lemon), Pimento Shishito (blistered shishito peppers with lemon and smoked paprika), and crispy Brussels Sprouts tossed in herb vinaigrette and fried shallots. Moving on to the shareable dishes, we savored Grilled Pineapple with sea salt, and Batatas Bravas -- crispy potatoes dressed in bravas sauce and smoked manchego soubise. We also ordered Shrimp Mozambique (in sofrito, vinho verde, and piri piri), the tender and flavorful Spanish Octopus served with baby potatoes and molho cru, Pasteis de Bacalhau (salt cod croquettes with olive tartar and lemon), Lulas (sautéed squid with garlic, shallots, vinho verde, and lemon), Grilled Sardines, and Clams cooked with vinho verde, linguica, garlic, and herbs, served with grilled sourdough bread. Every bite was well-prepared, balanced, and rich in flavor. The prices were reasonable, especially for the quality and portion sizes. The ingredients tasted fresh, the presentation was thoughtful, and the restaurant itself was very clean. From the ambiance to the food and the friendly staff, Lonely Siren delivered an incredible experience. Ok, first let me say this place is soo cozy vibey. I feel like I'm in a movie when I dine/drink here. I never like to comment on the looks of waitstaff, but everyone employed here belongs in a modeling catalog, seriously. The people here are friendly and the service is good, which I love because a lot of places are hit and miss downtown. My only problem was the drinks! I am not an experimental person, and I feel like this place is way better suited for those who are. I didn't really like my cocktail, because even though it was supposed to be fruity, it was definitely more straight forward than I would've liked. My friend didn't like hers either, something about a note in it that tasted rancid in the aftertaste. I would like to come back and give this place another try, but I will stick to something basic and off menu like a screwdriver maybe. I've been here before but this is my first time getting the seared octopus and the fries with eyes and these were def my favorite things I've gotten there. I feel like the seared octopus was good but to me it was a bit pricey for how much you get, I feel like the plate looks like you get more than you do bc of how they decorate it and arrange it it. I was really excited when I heard about this new Portuguese inspired spot in Seattle, I don't think we have any other Portugese restaurant here! We stopped by on a Tuesday evening and were able to snag a spot by the window. We could recognize few of the dishes on the menu from our trip to Portugal. The cocktails looked interesting too. They have a great NA selection too. We ordered the piri piri wings, tinned sardine, Brussels sprouts and prego no pao. Most dishes are on the smaller size and are meant for sharing. It's a bit hidden in Pike Place, best access is to turn towards the market near ghost alley espresso and head down the stairs to left.
