I went in to grab some marinated chicken thighs and saw a guy at the checkout literally plucking his beard with tweezers... Nasty!!! I asked for 3 lbs of meat, he went to the back, told someone else to handle it, then came back and kept plucking his beard. It was super uncomfortable, so I just walked around the store while I waited. When I got home, I realized they gave me chicken drumsticks instead of thighs. Between the wrong order and the whole beard-plucking situation, the experience was just off-putting. Definitely won't be coming back. Overall, just gross. read more

Cooked fish was good but wait is about 20 minutes, there was also a wait to get marinated tandoori breast which shouldn't be for a small shop that specializes in pre marinated meat for pickup, the person working at the counter probably had a cold while I was there 20 minutes kept coughing and sneezing. read more

Some of the worst service I have received at a store. I went here because my wife was craving Gunther's ice cream. I remembered from a previous visit that they sell Gunther's ice cream. I didn't want to drive to Gunther's so I decided to stop by since I live nearby. I walked in after two gentlemen so they helped them first. I stood patiently by the ice cream case meanwhile no one greeted me or told me that they would help me soon. Then another gentleman walked in grabbed something from the fridge and the guy behind the counter took his order. I asked him if anyone was going to help me and he just looked at me. The whole time the guy was looking at me in a non friendly manner. I ended up just walking out and they couldn't care less. I wonder how Gunther's feels about letting them sell their ice cream. read more

While getting my tires done at the shop next door, I decided to venture over to Bains. I'd only seen it while driving by and I was curious what they offered. It's a very clean shop. Lots of variety as to what to purchase in their meat department and they had a few items in the refrigerated section as well. They also have 3 cooked items and I chose the butter chicken. It is very tasty. It's really meant to be eaten at home as I would like to have some rice or Nan bread with it but it's so worth it even eating it by itself. What a delicious meal to pickup on a hectic night and add the extras on your own for 2 it would be about $8 a person. That's value and goodness !! I'll definitely come back and try some other items. read more

I'm so glad this shop came by the house. I love the meat and the marinades. I have not been able to take the heat from the chicken marinade yet. The hot is too HOT! The marinades are so yummy with flavor. I enjoy the fish fry on the weekends and the sauce for the fish is so so yummy. I wish they had the fry every day! This place has halal marinated chicken. First time trying them out and it was amazing. Great marination and flavor. Chicken was fresh and even the marinated salmon was really fresh as well. I would highly recommend it. You can also give them advance notice to marinate other halal meats upon request. Meat shop is very clean and everything tasted really good after grilling it at the park. Decided to five them a try, since i saw the sign go up but hadn't had a chance too. Had a opportunity to stop by today and I got some tandoori chicken and mint chicken. The flavor was so good and and authentic, This is just the best meat shop so far for me and its right down the street from me. So much flavor it was delicious. Saw this place and decided to stop by. Marinated meats? Yes, please! They were very patient with me as I asked for a few pieces of every type of wings and thighs that they had. Even labeled them for me so that I could keep track of all of the flavors. Each one was tender and delicious! Huge shout out for even throwing in a couple of free pieces so that I could try them all. Just purchased a few items from this market and everything we bought was delicious! We bbq'd the chimichurri tri trip and the meat was perfectly marinated. The meat was tender and the flavors well balanced. Also bought a few pound of the bones less chicken in different flavors. I couldn't tell you which ones I got but they were All flavorful . My favorite purchase though has to be the mint chutney! Had to send my son back for to more the following day and they even made it fresh for him. All the staff is Uber friendly and they sell Gunther's ice cream!! We will most definitely eat repeat customers. read more

A little of everything for a big BBQ we had. Enough to cover at least half the flavors. Most of them were definitely too salty. We ate it all up because it was still damn good! This is a very nice new store. Their service was great! There is a huge variety of meats to choose from. I asked for help. We really enjoyed the Cuban and Achari chicken. It was delicious. The tandori chicken was great with peppers, zucchini, tomato sauce and coconut milk with rice! The mint chutney was fresh and spicy so we added Greek yogurt to it, again tasty. Iv'e been going here since they first open. I have always prided myself on marinating my own chicken but this is my go to now. I have probably tried 2/3 of the marinated chicken and fish. The staff is super friendly. Marcus let me try his marinated sauces at times. Arby and his wife (I think) are really great owners. Highly recommended. My only issue is I go in 2-3 times a week lol. read more
