They said my fur coat would be ready in 2,5-3 weeks. I called them after the deadline, it wasn't ready. I kept calling every other day during next 2 weeks. Every time receptionist would promise to call me back with the answer - no one ever did. When I finally came to pick it up - it had same spots inside, and lots of cotton balls stuck from some other garments on the outside. No one cleaned it. The receptionist told me that if I don't like how they cleaned it, i could leave it there and they would clean it a second time... I took it with me, asking their coat/leather specialist who did the job, call me back to figure out what was going on... no one called me back. They have really great costumer service. I had taken my suede leather jacket in for a cleaning, it was supposed to be ready the 29th of September. I went in October 5th and it wasn't ready, I was upset and told the guy working to please have the manager call me. She quickly got back to me and was very apologetic and offered free cleaning and waterproofing for the inconvenience and would have my jacket done ASAP. I thought she handled the mix up very professionally. I also want to point out that they had been able to fix my other garments that I thought were ruined by my old cleaners in a different state, so glad I held onto them and got another opinion. Woman at the front counter was pretty rude like I was interfering with day by being there. When I asked about delivery to Nampa, she said they don't do that and for good reason. And I own a home out there so thanks for that...when I came back to pick up the man behind the counter and another woman were friendly even going they had a hard time finding one of my shirts. Originally I was happy with their service, but (at least the one at 15th and State St.) has deteriorated dramatically. Today I picked up a man's cotton shirt I had dropped off for standard laundering (which I do regularly there), and the bill was $10.50. When I asked why it wasn't the usual charge, I was told because it wasn't 100% cotton. When I pointed out that it is indeed 100% cotton, she called the manager to inquire about a refund, and was told the dry cleaning was done because something on the instructions said cool wash, tumble dry. REALLY? No refund, and one lost customer. read more

Very disappointed. Last year I was shorted my husband's dress shirts and had asked them about not getting returned items. I was told all items had been returned and given the only option of looking through their lost/unclaimed garments for my items. I decided to go elsewhere. A few months later I received a call that they found five of my husband's shirts (at approximately $65 per shirt that is $325 worth of clothing). I thanked the lady at the desk for returning them. I decided to give them another try a few weeks ago because I liked the location. I dropped off 16 items and at pick up was only give 13. They said they would look for the remaining three. When I went back a few days later I was told they could not find the three items, I had miscounted and there were only 13 items to be returned. I had counted the clothing twice to be sure since it was a large drop off so am confident it was 16 not 13 items. We have now lost $195 in dress shirts. Obviously will not be returning to Bairds again. read more

EXPENSIVE!! I took 7 basic garments there and it was over 50$!! Averaging ~7$/basic garmet! When I dropped off my articles I simply asked for a estimate..The notorious rude lady that everyone is mentioning looked at my like I had 10 eyeballs. She began to tell me that everything is different which I understand but give me a break - sounds like she's worked there long enough to have an idea. When I picked up my laundry, which was done on time, she told me it was over $50. I asked for copies of my tags for a breakdown because the receipts don't have a breakdown. At no point did they communicate with me, it wasn't until three weeks later when I began calling every day that someone started to look into the issue. Awesome place! I took my queen sized duvet cover here with a large bright blue nail polish stain on it. The nice and helpful lady at the desk told me there would be no guarantee but they would try. I gave it a try and was nervous I'd waste $33 bucks when I went to pick it up two weeks later. Expecting not to pick it up for at least another week, I got a call two days later that my duvet cover was ready to pick up! The stain is totally gone and it was money well spent. THE WORST! I have had to take several pieces back to be redone (I've never done that before anywhere) and their customer service is terrible. The woman at the counter in the afternoons is horribly unfriendly. I came in this week to pick up said redo items. It was the day they were supposed to be ready and I came in at around 3:45. They weren't at the location and when I inquired further as to why they weren't ready the woman at the counter was extremely rude and basically said, "well it isn't 630 yet so they could be dropped off before then." They close at 6:30.... if you say something will be ready on a specific day it should be dropped at the location the day before so the customer can show up at any point during the day. Bairds helped me sew some patches on some uniforms. The patches were placed on there cleanly and to the specifications I desired. The only thing was that I was told initially that my stuff would be done at 5pm, but when I showed up, it was actually not going to be done until closing time. That was an unfortunate miscommunication. Other than that, you can expect good work. The price was okay considering it was a short notice job. It's a good dry cleaner. This Dry Cleaning Business is one of the MOST unethical business I have EVER encountered. I dropped 21 pieces of clothing. I was told it will be $2.40 per item press only. Today I picked my order up. The total was $96.50. That is an average of $4.60 per item. I have my clothes dry cleaned all over the USA and Europe. This place is by far the MOST expensive in the World !!! Not only they are very expensive, they don't tell you the truth or willing to take any responsibility. The young kid at the counter today when I voice my concerns about the huge discrepancy he pretty much told me to get lost and there is nothing that can be done. IS THIS REALLY A LEGIT BUSINESS ???? I believe the BBB or a State Agency monitoring the integrity of business in Boise should get involved with this. We use the Meridian location on a regular basis. The team at the Meridian store has consistently delivered on time and quality service. Two years ago my wife's coat was lost in their system. They compensated her for a new coat, above the new purchase price. Recently, we needed same day service. I have been a loyal customer of Bairds for many years. The service has been good until now. On June 5th I brought 4 pieces to Bairds to clean; 2 pants and 2 women's blazers. When I went to pick them up on Saturday, only the pants were there. I looked on the system screen in the store with the employee and the system showed a qty of 4 pieces and then an adjustment done by a employee of minus 2 pieces. The store employee said "not to worry that this happens sometimes. they must have just needed more time on the two pieces". I came back today to pick up the 2 blazers and the store employee said "we dont show that we have anything for you". I asked what the system showed and he said that only 2 pieces were submitted on the order, and that he saw no qty adjustments! I am furious, as clearly someone deleted any record of my blazers; one only 1 a week old, Tahari brand and the other a custom tailored jacket from Nordstroms. The manager is supposed to call me tomorrow. Let's see how they handle it. I will let you all in the internet world know how I am treated. Right now I am furious...stay tuned. read more
