Been going here for years until my girlfriend had a horrible experience, so much so that I recently stopped going there and decided to write this review. She had a leather jacket cleaned which took four months to get done. This is after she was told 2-3 weeks. During the wait, she would call numerous times with them saying they would get back to her but never doing so, on other calls saying they didn't know the status or where it was at. On her last call to them, the manager Chelsea openly laughed at her concerns and offered nothing for the trouble. After requesting that it shouldn't be paid for since it took four months, Chelsea said it wasn't really their problem since it's done by a third party. The manager showed no remorse and was even insulting when inquiring about the status of the item and it taking so long with little to no communication or explanation. read more

I just had a great experience with their dry cleaning service. They said they couldn't guarantee one of my hand made 18th century dresses that needed dry cleaning, and I had to sign a statement saying that I knew there was no guarantee they wouldn't ruin it or not get it clean. But it came out beautifully; it's clean and they didn't ruin it at all. They also cleaned a formal dress and a wool scarf, all of which came out beautifully. The pricing is very reasonable too; all four pieces were about $42 to clean, which is great for a large, handmade dress. I was expecting the dress alone to cost more than all four together. It was incredibly fast for a busy time of year too. I dropped my order off on Saturday and it was ready by Monday evening. The gentleman who was working when I picked up my order was friendly and he even noticed that one of my items needed to be adjusted on its hanger before I left the store. I will definitely continue to use this business for my dry cleaning, which is the only dry cleaner in my neighborhood. read more

I brought in three pairs of slacks and three suit jackets (all jackets were purchased on 6/1/24) to be dry cleaned for an interview I have out of town next week. I wore them to other interviews the week prior, so each had only been worn once. When I dropped them off at noon on 7/10, I was told they would be guaranteed done by 5pm on 7/11 and I would receive a text when they were done. I called at 5pm on 7/11 because I had yet to get a text and the person who answered said they hadn't even started on them and I will get a text when they are done. I called around 1pm today 7/12 and was told they were still waiting on some to be finished and they should be done by end of the day, 6pm. I waited for a text and still hadn't received any text from them at all, so I went in and picked them up. I am only 24 and have never brought anything by to be dry cleaned before, so I really have no idea what to expect on turn around for 6 items, but the poor communication wasn't impressive to me. I was just hanging up the items and packing the ones I am bringing for my next interview and found on the last item in the bunch, one of the buttons was missing and I was not told before paying. I found a note (picture will be included) attached to the hanger, but after 2 calls and paying, no one thought to mention that the button was lost and I do not have a spare. I saw the notices that they are not responsible for the integrity of buttons, however, I did not notice any of them being loose or coming detached at all. I have had the jacket for 1 month and have only worn it once. Again, communication is severely lacking and I'm frustrated that my new clothing is now damaged. The building Comet is in just had a facelift and suddenly I noticed that we have had a great neighborhood dry cleaner all along! What a bonus! Not only do they do laundry and dry cleaning, but they also offer alterations and repairs. The more simple alterations they do in-house and the more complicated they send out. Obviously, I was among the few that did not know they were there because the racks were full of pressed garments for customers which included lots of uniforms. I like that they offer a returnable bag as an option to avoid using so many plastic bags. We had a couple of shirts cleaned and pressed here and they were ready for pick up the very next day! They have an insanely fast cleaning service that they can offer for some items that gets your garment ready for you on the same day- Monday thru Friday - if you drop off by 9am your items will be ready by 5pm! The counter staff is very helpful. They even told us about coupons that are offered online that that were applicable to the current purchase. Thank you for that! read more

Rude service. While this place does do a good job of getting my white shirts nice and bright, the service is awful. I came in with sticky notes to show where there's stains and which buttons are falling off. Mainly since the last time I brought them in they didn't fix what they said they would. Pleated Draperies/sheers were expensive to dry clean, and came back wrinkled, shrunk and with sloppy pleats. Gal at the desk was curt and unfriendly on intake...I almost walked out. I should've followed my gut after interacting with her and taken the drapes elsewhere!!! I realize drapes are not as common these days, but it truly seemed like this site had no idea what they were doing. Service and professionalism were lacking at best.
