I agreed and went straight to the dealership. A guy by the name of Victor helped her by selling 2 new parts for her engine and the other one for her steering wheel. Both parts together was less than $150.00. They did her maintenance in less than an hour. That was different--price wise. Due to the fact that they were kind of busy, the guy apologized to us for the maintenance taking a bit longer. He said it usually takes 30 to 40 minutes. The dealership along with the parts department was very clean. They even asked us if we wanted something to drink, but since we were already full, we declined the offer. It was fast, quick and she was very happy with the work that they have done on her car and got the parts for an affordable price. She was happier that they actually had them in stock. So we started car shopping for a new (used - new to us) vehicle to be her daily driver & work commute vehicle. I did a lot of research, and we found a 2014 BMW x3 with low miles & in great condition at the CDJR used car dealer on Van Nuys Blvd. (Note, this is not the CDJR new car dealership that's a little farther north on Van Nuys Blvd. Part of the same family of dealers, but this review is for their used car lot a farther south on Van Nuys Blvd.) My wife and I showed up there at 7pm, after a day of driving to dealerships all over and test driving vehicles, and found the sales associates at this lot to be a breath of fresh air. We dealt directly with Moises, and he was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable about the car we were there to see, and just overall seemed like a good guy. We text drove the BMW x3, liked it (my wife loved it), but we couldn't purchase at that moment because we were still waiting for the insurance payout on the totaled vehicle. We didn't want to lose the BMW to another buyer, so we put a $1,000 deposit down on my debit card, the following day.....although in retrospect we should have done it that same night, I just couldn't pull the trigger on the deposit, but after driving home, my wife and I talked about our positive experience at this dealer, and our really positive experience with Moises, and we decided that was the right vehicle (so I went back the next day & put the deposit down.) Ultimately we ended up not purchasing the vehicle because our insurance gave us an owner retained settlement offer a couple days later, and my wife and I decided to go with that option, so I returned to Keyes CDJR used cars, and had to ask for a refund of the deposit. I explained the situation to a manager, and he was extremely understanding & professional about the whole situation......the refund was issued, I got a receipt and I was in & out in about 30 minutes. A couple days later the refund showed up on my debit card, exactly as it should. Overall, it was an extremely positive used car buying experience (even though we didn't end up buying the car), and didn't have any of the weird salesman, sleazy tactics that most people associate with used car dealers. If & when the time comes that we're ready to buy a used car, this dealership will absolutely be our first stop! A+ to these guys, and their professional manners/etiquette!

I do not recommend coming here to buy a new car if you want a good, honest deal…read more I recently leased a new vehicle from this dealership, and what should have been an exciting purchase turned into a frustrating experience. The truck was delivered with visible scratches already on it. When I flagged this, I was told to bring it back in for repair -- but instead of offering a loaner vehicle so I could still get around, they only offered an Uber to and from my house for the day. That was just the start. Since taking delivery, I've had an airbag warning light come on and noticed the alignment is off -- not exactly what you expect from a brand-new truck. The finance side of things was its own headache. The moment the paperwork was signed, the finance manager seemed to vanish -- no one on staff could tell me where to find them for follow-up questions. I'd strongly encourage anyone buying here to read every line of your contract before signing, because add-ons have a way of getting added without a clear conversation about them. To make matters worse, I've called the main sales line multiple times asking to have Gustavo call me back -- silence every time. Even showing up in person, nobody at the dealership seems to know where he is. At this point it's easier to find Jesus than it is to find him. My salesperson, Mandeep, was nice and helpful throughout the process -- but that seems to be true of everyone here right up until you sign. After that, it's like you're dead to them. Part of this is on me -- I didn't shop around enough beforehand, and other dealers later quoted me a noticeably cheaper price for the same truck. Lesson learned, but it also means this dealership knew they weren't offering a competitive deal and sold it to me anyway. Between the vehicle condition at delivery, the ongoing mechanical issues, the vanishing finance manager, and now an unreachable salesperson, I'd think twice before buying here -- and I'd definitely get quotes elsewhere first. They are…read morevery responsive to my inquiry to buy a used 2022 Bolt EUV, because I have read great reviews about how good the batteries could last possibly past 200k miles. Amir is the salesman who eventually handled my case. He was very responsive and attentive. Even after the sale, he followed up on an outstanding item while off the clock on his own time, which I will mention later as a not-so-pleasant experience. The other great person who assisted while Amir was off work was Adrian. He covered for Amir for resolving that last outstanding task about getting me the level 2 charger that is included in the deal. So kudos to both of them, and I'd be willing to work with them again if I need to get another GM vehicle in the future. Now the negative part of the review so you know it's not all sunny and rainbow with background music singing praises about this dealership. The negative sides are two items. First, the sale price was clearly indicated in the web site. I know about the extra taxes and documentation fees that will be added after tht official list price. But during the paperwork process, they were trying to include a security item (gps tracking?) for anti-theft. I do not need that device, and it costs probably more than $1,200 from what the dealership was trying to get me to pay. I insisted that they remove that item, and eventually it was take off. The other negative thing was about the window sticker states that a level 2 dual mode charger was included in the package. It was not there. Although they were willing to at first deduct the cost of the charger, which probably costs about $130, off the price, but it's about then I will need to buy a charger myself and get it delivered to my house. They did place an order of that part, and it eventually got delivered to my house after seven days. In hindsight, I should have just bought it from Amazon with my Prime membership delivery so it could arrive the next day. The inconvenient part of without that included charger was that I had to go out nightly to a gas station with a level 3 charger to charge for 45 minutes to bring the car to about 78% charge level. It costs me extra money to do for for each night that charger was not there at my garage, which will resulted in cheaper electricity cost for slow charging. So overall, great experiences with the people working there, but as a buyer you need to watch out for what's missing in the package and what they try to sneak it in as extra items that you don't need to buy a car.

After the deal closed, I never got my finalized paperwork. I was told it would come once the bank opened Monday. It didn't, and I had to chase it down myself. When I finally read through the documents, I found $6,495 in extended warranty (VSA) and prepaid maintenance (PPM) added to my loan that I never agreed to. My sales rep Ronnie and finance manager Shayan had only mentioned a few complimentary oil changes, not a $6,500 package. If I hadn't caught it myself, I'd have paid for it for the life of the loan. To their credit, they did process the cancellation once I flagged it. But it took repeated follow-up on my end, and I never received an apology or any gesture of good faith to make things right. Nobody proactively reached out. This is exactly why buyers are moving toward more transparent models like Delivrd. Read every line before you sign.
