DO NOT BUY a car from Boktor Motors! I purchased a car from this place after doing a test drive of a 2013 Lincoln SUV. The vehicle has a panoramic sun roof, which malfunctioned the day I gave them cash for the vehicle and got it to my home. They would not even have it fixed as a courtesy, even when I searched and found repairers who would fix the sun roof. They don't check the quality of their used cars before selling them, or make any necessary repairs of vehicles before selling. If something on a car is broken or about to brake, they don't quality check and fix the issue before selling their cars. They just put the bs on the lot for sale. read more

After taking it in to my local Mercedes Benz dealer for a full tuneup and inspection, I was very happy with the results. The vehicle had been well maintained (in line with the CarFax report) and only needed a few minor updates beyond the regular tuneup. The lead tech commented on how good the condition was mechanically. I worked directly with Brant and Karen and the service was great. Fast, efficient. Not pushy. UPDATE: June 16, 2024: it's been one year, we have put another $3500 into the car and just found out the turbo needs to be replaced which is probably another few thousand dollars. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED- I would never recommend this dealership. They had the opportunity to do the right thing and buy the car back a year ago, they refused. PREVIOUS REVIEW: In June 2023 (just four months ago), my husband and I purchased a 2012 Volvo for my 18 year old daughter- it had 80k miles and appeared in good shape. She is a college student and works part time - she is dependent on a reliable vehicle. Just four months after making this purchase, her check engine light came on, the car started shaking and she immediately pulled over. It was a scary experience for her. We towed the car to a reputable shop in our area and we are now finding out that she may need a new engine. In addition, they have found a slew of other issues that should have been caught if this car had passed through ANY type of inspection. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to making this purchase because others have had similar experiences and there are lots of commonalities in our complaints. Edited to add a response to management's reply: I did reach out to your company through the online website form but it took several follow-up messages to get a response. This all transpired at the end of last week, and we have been traveling, this is our first day back to deal with the issue. We are willing to give your company an opportunity to correct these issues, and to do the right thing. If this car truly did pass any type of pre-sale inspection, Boktov may want to find a new mechanic as our auto shop has already caught many things that would have hit the radar of a qualified mechanic. Minor issues, we would've had no problem repairing on our own. Thousands of dollars worth of repairs, after four months, definitely not acceptable. Our bill today to get the car back on the road was $2932.85. The recommended repairs and services: $5,635.16. October 30, 2023, I spoke to Albert from the dealership who told me that the cars DO NOT go through a "thorough inspection," as stated by Kay. The cars go through a "very basic" inspection. We selected a dealership versus a private party for peace of mind, believing that all vehicles passed inspection. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of reading through all of the negative reviews here before making a purchase from this dealership. Make sure your personal mechanic has done a thorough inspection of the vehicle since the dealership does not do thorough inspections. We have a $10,000 vehicle that needs almost $10,000 dollars in repairs. I truly feel scammed. The final outcome: the dealership (Albert) has refused to help correct the situation, and did not respond to my offer to sell the car back to them. Do not trust these people. I purchased the car last summer. As soon as I purchased, already had a few problems. The car key did not work and the key was not cut. Also had tire pressure issue and this car did not have tire lock key.... They introduced me to one of the mechanic stores, but they were not able to fix my car key at all. They fixed the door, but when i press the lock button, it unlocks and when i press the unlock button, it unlocked. so i had to go there again but the car key was never fixed. I ended up using not using car key instead i have been pressing the door buttons to lock/unlock car. Tire lock key has been missing since I purchased it. I texted them about the issue, but they even did not try to fix this problem. Mechanic might forget putting the key back... we never know.... I reached out to them a few times, but they completely stopped responding me.... I was busy but I reached out to them this January and no response and this july and no response. They will not care after you purchase the car. as long as they get money from you they will stop caring you. and now I have a hard time dealing with tire problem without tire lock key. I should not have paid the insurance or whatever thingy. read more

So update since I bought this car. I had to Replace instrument cluster while I had. A warranty. Replace transmission which warranty didn't cover it. And Transmision mechanic had to unbend someting on the axle. ( they sold me a car that has been in a accident and car fax didn't pick it up ). Note they did offer me $500 back and part of the warranty back but they really screwed me over. I also had to pay 4k for a new Engine Replace alternator (that one I'll not hold against them ) But still charged me 6k for the car I ran across another driver tho bout a Volkswagen and their car broke down 2 days after driving it. So idk where they are getting cars from but do not do payment plans with them and ask less then asking price if your going to buy to compensate for fixing lemons that are sitting. read more

I'd give them a zero if I could. They sold me a lemon! I bought a mini copper from them and it didn't work for more than a day! I was calling them the next day cause lights started coming on. When I brought it in they had it for a few days and returned it saying they fixed the issue. THEY DID NOT! I took it to the mini dealer for a diagnostic and to fix alone was $4000+ when they sold me a $7000 car! Horrible experience. They took 3000$ from me for down payment and they took the car back!
