I was at Zumiez today and genuinely some of the worst customer service I've experienced. A teenage employee greeted me while folding clothes, and I said hi back. Apparently he didn't hear me, because literally seconds later he started complaining to his coworker about how "rude" customers never say hello. Meanwhile, they were loudly talking shit about customers throughout the store where everyone could hear them. By the time I left, I made a point of saying "have a good one" loud and clear, and they were still going on about rude customers who don't respond. Maybe if you're going to complain about your customers, don't do it within earshot of the entire store. It made for a pretty uncomfortable shopping experience. read more

Come here if you want be harassed, uncomfortable, and accused of stealing. Almost everyone was nice at this store, except this one guy. Made me and others feel extremely uncomfortable. My friend was trying on a shirt but he needed a smaller size, so I went and got it for him. When I stepped in the fitting room to give him the shirt, this one employee instantly started getting rowdy and YELLING at us for literally breathing. He said only "one person per fitting room" and that was such a lie because that was never an issue. The other employee did not care & wasn't aggressive at us when he gave us one fitting room, originally, to change in. Plus, my friend has special needs so this stuff isn't a joke. Usually don't write reviews but it ruined my day after we got accused of stealing. Me and my boyfriend went into the store (with nothing but my small purse and a small bag from H&M). I was going to take a shirt but I never did and I ended up folding it back because I also work in retail and understand that sometimes it can be annoying having customers move things around and not put it back. We thanked some guy who worked there and walked out. Before we could leave he asked where I left the shirt, I told him I put it back and he asked me where. I proceeded to tell him I folded it back where it belongs and he then says "can you come back and show me how you folded it?". This took me aback but to not escalate the situation, I did just that. I don't appreciate how we were treated as thieves rather than customers for no reason. Mind you, we were near him the whole time we were there, and it was very uncomfortable because we could tell he already profiled us as people who were suspicious. read more

The dude at the door around 12 pm on 7/16 was insulting when he called me big. I went through eating disorders for years of my life and I have gained weight since being 90 pounds my entire life. Went to this store yesterday, looking to purchase a skateboard for my little brother. As soon as we stepped in the we were greeted and asked if we needed help looking for something in particular. I responded that we were looking for skateboards. She automatically directed up to the back where they had their selection and had Bryan help up. Bryan gave us great customer service since the beginning. He educated us on the items available, he wasn't trying to just sell us any skateboard and have you being clueless on what you were about to purchase. He was clear on how the purchase worked along with the add on options and the upgrades section. What I loved the most of our experience is while he was putting the board together he was giving my brother pointers on skateboarding. He wasn't just like any other sales associate that could had been there just to do the bare minimum to collect a paycheck. You know which ones I am talking about, the ones that look as if someone had to drag them out of bed. Great job Bryan and keep up the good work! The service here was absolutely atrocious. A young woman with long light brown hair with a cut off tee shirt was working the counter. As I walk in with my sister an I we got no introduction at all and wasn't even noticed at all. While looking for a shoe for 10 minutes we still got no response while she was talking to a gentlemen who was practically behind the counter with her. So when approaching the male I asked "hey can I try this shoe in a 8.5" he turned around and stated "I don't work here bro, but I'll go look." I didn't know if he was kidding or serious and the girl just laughed. So I just decided to walk back to the shoe rack to give a last glance. Finally, she came out and said we only have one shoe out of all of them in that size, which seemed a bit unrealistic but I took her word for it. The store looked like an utter mess of clutter. A strong lack in organization. Literally looked like stuff was jammed in corners, the clothing was just everywhere with no order of sizes. I definitely will not return to this location. read more

I normally only go to my local skateshop but I stopped by here since my parents wanted to buy something from the Nike outlet. The place was kind of small so the selection of boards was meh. It seems like they care more about name brands than actual skateboarding. I asked someone if they had any Girl decks and they said "no we only have unisex decks" At that point I just walked out of the store. for those of you who are not skaters, Girl is a skating brand that basically every skater should know.... If your looking for overpriced brands such as 25$ for a plain white t-shirt with just a small logo on the front, this is the place for you. The customer service here is top notch. We were pressed for time and of course the mall was busy with holiday shoppers. Efrain was welcoming in the front of the store and restocking but still was kind enough to ask us if he could help us find something. We let him know that we were shopping for a XXL which is limited in the store and he asked us what brands we liked and within 5 min came back with 5 perfect options! We ended up buying 3 of the shirts and he absolutely saved us with time. He was so great to ask us our needs and deliver all while doing it with a smile and happy to help us Once at the register, Stephen and Payton were so friendly, greeted us with a smile and quick convo. Normally you are being rushed out of stores but here they rang us and still took us up on small convo and made us feel so welcomed! He says he doesn't know but he can ask if I can get a discount cool I say yes thank you. Zumiez goes from 3 to 5 he goes and ask this bald older man and older woman who I assume are mAnagers and although don't hear the whole conversation I hear the older guy say "what's the point? They're going to blabla anyways?" I'm thinking what the flying f@$k excuse me but if I'm paying full prize for an item I better get a non-defective non-used item, regardless of wether or not I'm going to destroy it in one day is not important. Point two this is a god$&n Christmas gift and I would expect to get it in perfect condition or a discounted prize for a damaged product instead of complaining that you need to give a freaken discount for a defective item. Zumies is at a 1, the sales came back saying the manager had said yes I thanked my wonderful associate (who's name was Anthony)and paid. Managers rating 1, staff rating 5. Overall experience I would give zumies a 1 but I was very grateful for the associates help so I bumped it two points. I bought some nice large skate wheels for my board. Problem is I don't have the tools at home to put them on fast. Zumiez has a skate section and will even make boards for you if you buy the stuff at their store. I brought my board in with me, it was a simple case of swapping out the wheels.... nuff said. One of the staff screwed up when they put my wheels on, and actually gave up, they flipped around my bearings amongst other things (including losing some of the rings). I had to go to Vans across the way to get it fixed by someone! read more
