We ended up getting the chips and salsa ($7) with an extra salsa ($4), Grilled Black Half Chicken ($23), and Fideo Seco ($14). Our friend got the Carne Asada Tacos ($24), Refried Beans ($12), and Red Rice ($10). The sides were shareable and needed, since the entrees came on their own. Our friend added some of the beans, rice and Fideo Seco on their tacos and our chicken did come with some tortillas to make our own tacos or eat on it's own. Everything was high quality and flavorful. The Fideo Seco was surprisingly my favorite item. It is vermicelli pasta with sofrito, chorizo and egg yolk and was very tasty. The chicken was good, but hard to eat without using your hands to get all the meat off the bones- the messy hands didn't seem to fit with the restaurant vibe but we loved the flavor and how tender the chicken was. The salsa was good and the chips were fresh, but it seemed like a lot to charge $4 for the ramekins of salsas. I would pass on chips and salsa next time. Overall it was a great vibe, high quality food and good service. Definitely more of a treat meal or great spot to impress a date or business client. For a regular chill meal it felt a bit expensive, but I think they're going for more upscale.

We were surprised to find most items were gluten free and they even had symbols indicating which ones they were. The food was great. All my family was pleased with the fresh quality which is not easy to find nowadays. I had the quesadillas if that's how it's spelled and a passion fruit margarita. It was fantastic. Thier bar is awesome also. The owner was very personable and gave us some insights about thier restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

On Thursday June 2, 2016 I was at the restaurant. I walked in and there was many people waiting for their food, I thought oh great this is going to take forever. I heard some one say we will be right with you. I few seconds later a women arrived ( I found out later she was the manager). She assigned jobs to the worker. She appoligized for the wait, then put cups, chips and coupons on the counter and told everyone to help themselves to drinks chips and a coupon for our next visit. She then explained a toaster was not working. She then began assisting the workers get food made. She personaly handed everyone their food. I visit this resturant at least once a week, and I have not seen it look as good as it did that day. My food was delicious. read more

First off it's connected to a gas station so it's smaller then the other Baja Fresh's that I've been in. That didn't change how I felt about the place though. It was a good dining experience for me. I ordered there new grilled soft tacos with carnitas. They are definitely different from the regular tacos but are very good. The mix of all the ingredients really made them worth getting. I would recommend those for sure. The staff was very friendly and made sure I was happy with my order. They got the food out quickly and I was very happy with the place. I catered the food from here for my Baby Shower this weekend and everything was perfect. Guests loved all the different options they had for the food and fresh Salsas and Guac. The prices were very reasonable compared to some other catering places and they deliver to the venue which is an added bonus while you are busy on the day of the event. Surely, nobody could determine if the El Favarito Chef placed seafood inside the soup--just shredded cauliflower, chopped carrots, and bits o' shredded fish, i.e., can't count whether there are SEVEN TYPES OF SEAFOOD swimming in the soup mix! Please critically observe the EDH's Seven Mares seafood soup photo . . . Eyes rolling! Moreover, the Seven Mares seafood soup bought at EDH is shockingly more SKIMPY!
