Hard pass. I haven't been to a Baja Fresh in years. Walked in to check out the menu and the vibes. The cashier woman, pale woman w pale make up and dark eyebrows, just stared at me. Finally -- a Baja Fresh that gets it right! This location reminded me exactly why I loved Baja Fresh back in the early 2000s. The food is cooked perfectly -- fresh, flavorful, and nothing frozen. The shrimp is actually grilled (not rubbery or undercooked), and the salsas are spot-on -- especially the black salsa, which isn't watery like at so many other locations in Northern California. Everything tastes clean and vibrant. The restaurant itself is spotless and clearly well-managed. Honestly, if all Baja Fresh locations had operated like this one, the chain never would've downsized. The only small miss was the front counter staff -- the woman working the register wasn't exactly welcoming -- but the food and quality more than make up for it. read more

I was pleasantly surprised how good & authentic the food is @ Baja Fresh; highly recommend with lots of delicious salsas available. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken bowl that was fantastic; also the Smokey Taco Combo & Burrito. Great selections on their menu & there is something for everyone's taste. I thought the price was well worth the fresh ingredients. I've lived in Las Vegas for a year now & Baja Fresh is the best Mexican food I've found in Vegas. Years ago, before Baja Fresh sold the Wendy's international, they actually catered to their customers. You could order a large bowl of chips, enjoy the salsas at the salsa bar and if necessary , ask for more chips. Now...they still have a salsa bar but they REALLY skip on chips and when you run out, gotta buy more. It's really no wonder that many of their franchise locations ended up closing over the years. Very sad. I used to come to Baja Fresh so much that I had over 150 of their hard plastic keep able cups. If you don't remember those, then you never missed their amazing service. I am not sure who in their corporate mind thought 25 chips in a bag is appropriate but they're horrible and greedy people. I ordered a burrito ultimo and again asked for enchilada style and they wanted almost $4 to pour enchilada sauce over a frickin burrito. Yep, things sure have changed. Kinda like parking downtown today and actually paying for it. Now you may think I am griping but I am just not going to be taken advantage of for corporate profits. So I pay bare minimum and not frequent the establishment. There are many places the still think of the customer. Choose them first. Can you tell I'm disappointed?? The employees here are rude, lazy, and disrespectful. they tried to convince that a $5 dollar side of queso is the same sisalsa bar cups. And They didn't give me chips or explain. Stopped in for the first time to grab a quick lunch. There was no greeting or any suggestions when I let the worker know it was my first time here! It wasn't busy at the time of my visit. The restaurant looked to be kept clean, but, being my visit was around the time they probably just opened its hard to really say. They have quite a few things on their menu almost all of it I am not sure what it is, so I opted for the steak quesadilla. It came with a side of guacamole and sour cream and a small bag of chips with no dip! It costs $16!!! The taste was bland even with the condiments. Definitely wouldn't recommend coming here! I went to Baja fresh today and had the most pleasant experience. The manager on Judy Erica was nice. Had a bright smile and was willing to help me in any way that she could. I appreciate managers who go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience at the restaurant that you're eating at. The food was hot and fresh. Exceptional!! I love Baja Fresh, but almost all of the restaurants in Southern California have left. My family and I went to this restaurant in Las Vegas during the Christmas holiday and the food was fantastic! Esthela, store manager, was very kind and accommodating. The first thing I noticed upon entering was everyone was cleaning an area. Esthela was wiping down the counters. Another young man was sweeping and cleaning the eating area and the two cooks were even cleaning their cooking area. I went to the restroom and everything was spotless! The salsa bar was clean and free of "salsa splashes" all over the bar and dipping handles. This type of cleanliness is rare to see in a "fast food type" restaurant. I ordered the chicken Baja burrito and it was super yummy as it always is. We will definitely be returning when we return to Las Vegas. read more

On Tuesday (March 5th, 2024), I ordered a diablo wahoo and shrimp burrito. I also had more chips with a side of guacamole. Haven't been into a Baja Fresh for a while but since i was in the area i decided to stop by, I Ordered 2 crispy fish tacos combo w rice and beans and honestly was dissatisfied.Beans was not good, rice is just ok and The tacos was ok except it came w a fish sticks which was too small for the tortilla they could have at least put two instead they filled it more w the veggies. The customer service here rocks also! The team members are super friendly and are willing to help you out. This Baja Fresh is located on Charleston and Rampart area. You can get here by taking either the 215/Charleston, Summerlin Parkway/Rampart exit. Baja Fresh parking lot is private, sharing next to several local businesses. As soon as you walk up, you review the menu and then select the food options. My friend choose a bowl, with chips/salsa. I ended up selecting their Chicken Fajitas. You pay and then are provided a number. The meal wasn't too bad, approximately $36.00 with [2] drinks, chips / salsa and [2] entrees. My friend and I sat at a high table. We waited about 15 minutes for our order to be called. The food was hot and fresh! I really enjoyed my chicken fajitas. There is always just so much food offered!! I ate all of the flour tortillas with the chicken, rice, pico de gallo, and sour cream. I had plenty left over for a second meal as well. The restaurant was clean, spotless, even though there was a lot of people dining inside since it was during peak lunch hour time. I've been to this location before & today I ordered something I've never had. I ordered a pork carnitas quesadilla. WOW it was really good. The condiment bar is open again. I'm so happy its open. My meal was beyond delicious. It was Freezing in the restaurant. Felt like the AC was on. That's about all the negative we encountered. Kudos to this place for proudly serving Impossible meat to provide an array of plant-based options. My favorite over the years has been the Burrito Ultimo with its grilled veggies. I choose Impossible as my meat. I order it with no cheese or sour cream, to make it fully plant-based. The food here isn't remarkable, but their salsa bar has the widest selection that I know of. For fast food featuring mexican cuisine, I think it's fresher than average (less preservatives and artificial stuff I hope). Street corn is now on the menu and I noticed some banners in the window featuring limited time offers such as enchiladas and chicken tortas. I stuck with my tried and true favorite the Baja shrimp burrito, but I also tried the street corn a.k.a. elote´. The corn was good, but I took most of the mayo off the top (too much) before mixing the seasonings up. The burrito was very good as usual. Service was very good; I was brought my meal in lieu of having to go up to the counter to retrieve it. The salsa bar was stocked full. Mango salsa is my favorite. So if you are in a hurry not always the best place but overall pretty good food. There is so much competition in this category of good though. So I'm going to be a little picky. For us lazy people there's no drive thru , and since it's Baja "fresh" it will take a little bit for your food especially if you are ordering for more than one person. I came here specifically because my coworkers and even an employee that works here told me I get a discount because of working at a store in this plaza. I told them that upon entering. I told the girl that rang me up and she did not give me a discount on the $30 of food I ordered. She told me she would look for a discount card of some sort and never gave me one.
