The food was fine but DON'T get the brisk or the Minute Maid if you do end up purchasing a fountain drink. They tasted like there was mold in there and when I told the worker he just said "No" and it might be a language barrier thing but still wouldn't recommend it! I've been going here for years and have never had a problem with the fountain drinks or the food, it's just the lack of urgency and really any response at all to the possibility of there being mold in the drinks was very concerning and disappointing! We visit Roberto's Taco Shop regularly..sometimes a couple times a week..and have always had great experiences, which is why I feel this is worth mentioning. Unfortunately, our recent drive-through visit was very disappointing. According to the receipt, we were helped by employee Karla Perez, and the experience was not up to the standard we're used to. Our card was handled very roughly and actually cracked..we'll now have to replace it..and nothing was said or acknowledged. Our order also wasn't ready when we got to the window and she had to be entered again, which caused a longer wait. Additionally, the outside of the bag was covered with food residue from her gloves, which transferred onto everything and didn't feel very sanitary. This is honestly the first negative experience we've had here, and we'll absolutely be back because we know how good this location usually is. Just hoping this was a one-off and that a little extra care is given to handling customers' property, cleanliness, and service moving forward. read more

I went to Robertos Taco Shop (1101 S Fort Apache Rd.) and ordered a chili relleno burrito, and honestly, it was a huge disappointment. First off, they didn't bother to remove the stem and the core of the chili--so I was literally biting into parts that should have never been in the burrito to begin with. On top of that, the burrito was extremely greasy, to the point where the tortilla was soaked through and falling apart. I expect better quality and basic care when preparing food. Careful went here Sunday evening ordered at the drive thru and my wife used her debit card and on Monday her bank notified her of fraud activity. The funny thing is the young guy who took the card kept it longer than normal to pay and was overly polite when he gave the card back to her. I mentioned to my wife as a joke that he was probably stealing the information. I guess it wasn't a joke. What is a joke is this isn't the first time this has happened to us at a Roberto's. Location. Celebrating the Mexican victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla (the French won the Second battle and then captured Mexico City). Cinco de Mayo is more of an American excuse party and is not as important in Mexico. i decided to,join in the annual ritual but I needed to get some fast food, eat, and then get home to get ready for the hockey game. I've been in this small plaza many times and I have noticed the large volume of cars at the drive thru and in the lot. Since this is close to home, this Roberto's was my choice. I ordered 2 carne asada tacos and a medium drink. The carne asada come with a soft corn tortillas. I got my drink and sat down. Very quickly, a worker brought my tray with the tacos. I went to fold the two sides of one tortilla and I found the food to be very, very hot!! I waited a bit for the meat to cool down and then I was able to fold and start eating. The tacos were good. I know now that I can so the drive thu and things will be hot when I get home if I'm too lazy to go into the shop. A good meal for this special American celebration! read more

Hubby and I went to this location because our girlz Prom was over in that area around 930PM. Roberto's was very clean and the workers were very courteous! My hubby and I ordered 2 carne asada burritos. I don't eat meat, but I was like I'm just gonna take a few bites and give it to my daughters. All I'm gonna say was that we received the biggest carne asada burritos ever and they were delicious Finally, a Roberto's out here in Vegas that is just like we are used of when we lived in San Diego, CA.... Food has always been great at this location the cooks are excellent. Typically service is also great, today it was not. The drive thru worker was rude from the beginning, couldn't speak enough English to take my order ended up taking it wrong overcharging me and then caused a fit because I asked for my money back. Posting because it was such an easy order, one combo number, why charge me for two entrees? 20 years ago people were doing this...overcharging hoping the customer realized it later, no fuss, meanwhile they get free dinner. This Roberto's Taco Shop certainly does not disappoint! They're open 24 hours and I wasn't in the mood to cook anything but was craving some nachos! Even late at night around 10pm I arrived and the gentleman was really nice and energetic and asked if I wanted to do half fries and half nachos for my order of Carne Asada Nachos. I had no idea they could even do that so I decided to try that! I've been here countless times and at various other locations and the service was great, the carne asada nachos (half fries and half nachos) were hot and very plentiful! Also get the green and red sauce if you want to add a bit of a kick to your meal! Overall I'd say this is a solid 4 star place! You may find it funny to give 5 stars to a semi-fast food joint but this location never disappoints. Our family has lived in Las Vegas for 11 plus years and have been to many Roberto's. Most are decent but some are better than others and the staff really make the difference. We really like the night crew on Hualapai. We love the tacos on Wednesday as they are great for the price. Shredded chicken with super crunchy fried shells topped with fresh lettuce and cheese make these a delicious meal. Roberto's taco salad also rocks. We always spend a bit extra to get the carne Asada. The meat that normally comes in the salad is great in the chimichanga but makes the salad too soggy. That stew meat is super tender with peppers and great juice and flavors. Definitely try it but the taco salad shell is delicious and you don't want it soggy. A quick fix is the quesadilla plate. It's a great cheap option. While it's a bit greasy and not my favorite, the rice and beans are delicious. The rice is not some super flavorful or spiced rice, it's just perfect and soft. The location on Las Vegas Boulevard makes huevos rancheros but this one does not. One time we went in, one of the morning staff hooked us up though. I seriously will never be the same. This huevos rancheros was the best I've ever had. I wish they would have it on the menu. I am always impressed with how fresh the lettuce, pico, cheese, and guacamole are. They are not stingy with loading up your plate. Good food from good people. This is definitely our families go to. read more

This particular Roberto's reminded me exactly why I fell in love with the chain in the first place. The food was absolutely fantastic -- fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. One detail that really stood out was the use of whole jalapeño peppers instead of just small slices. It's little things like that which make a big difference and show that they care about quality. I am an appreciator of a well made crispy chicken taco!! Roberto's makes an excellent version. The shell is perfectly fried and filled with white chicken breast meat, crisp iceberg lettuce, and mild cheddar cheese. To add to this great find (at the location on Hualapai in Summerlin), On Wednesday's this marvelous taco can be had for a mere $1.29 ‼ I ordered four of these tacos (thinking they might be smaller and skimpier than the normal $2.75 version that they sell every other day), but no, they were full size tacos and I could barely eat three of them!! I get Roberto's frequently around town and this is hands down the worst location in Las Vegas if you come here late at night. The other recent one star reviews are accurate. There is a guy who works late nights that says the credit card machine isn't working and you have to pay cash. I'm pretty sure he does this so he can get some kind of cash tip since they don't do card tips. Meanwhile, if you go to any other location at the same time, their credit card machine works fine. Also, if that certain guy isn't working that night, the credit card machine works just fine. One night this same guy said "cash only". I sternly said I don't have cash because I was fed up with this scam. He took my card and looked around as if he was checking that no one else who was forced to use cash saw him accept my card. This confirmed my suspicion that there isn't actually anything wrong with the credit card machine. The Carne Asada is always worse here than any other location. One time the adobada tasted like I was eating raw pork and I just threw it away. I can definitely see how other people got sick multiple times eating here. Tonight I asked to get the Monday special that Roberto's is doing for their 60th anniversary this year which a smaller portion of carne asada fries for $6.60. (The guy at the other Roberto's location down the street kindly explained to me it's a smaller portion size after my terrible experience at this location.) The other guy who isn't the scammer guy but had attitude problems multiple times previously said there is no Monday special even though it's right there on the drive-thru menu so I ordered a Carne Asada tostada instead. When I pulled up, the guy was mad dogging me through the drive-thru window. I guess asking about the Monday special was a problem? At this point I just drove away because I didn't want him to spit in my food or something. When someone acts like this, I don't trust them with my food. read more
