Not really my cup of tea. Chili's has been a hit and miss for me. Soups are decent, salads are ok, and ribs were a little on the dry side. This time around I ordered wings and unfortunately, When I got my wings they were somewhat cold. so I was like ok" no big deal" but then I bit into my wing it was semi hard. No wing that I've had has been Hard skin. Which made me think they either over cooked them a little and then had them sitting there until our other plate was ready or they cook wings in advance and when they get an order they just add the sauce. This was a great experience, we were in the mood for chips salsa and fajitas. Normally they are just too salty so we asked our server to reduce to salt and she made it happen. It was still seasoned but much less salty than usual. The drink refills kept coming and the sides were great. I really thought the fajitas for two was a great deal and value. Came to Chili's recently and had a pretty solid experience. I ordered the Cajun pasta and it was really good, flavorful, creamy, and a nice portion size. My brother went with the chicken fajitas and added shrimp, and his plate came out sizzling hot and fresh. He really enjoyed it too. What really stood out was the service. Our waitress was super nice and very attentive the whole time, making sure we had everything we needed without us having to ask. First, I got the Triple Dipper (17.99) which included Egg Rolls, Cheeseburgers, and Nashville Mozz Sticks. The Egg Rolls had a outer crust and had a large corn flavor and beans flavor, lacking chicken and any cheese flavor. Overall they were crispy and the beans and corn were hot and fresh so they were fine. Next, the cheeseburgers with the ranch which were impeccable with seasoned beef, a soft bun, and although the other flavors were lacking the main flavors were quite on par with top tier sit down chains. Lastly, the Nashville Mozzarella Sticks which had a long cheese pull and were crispy and were covered in the Nashville Sauce (quite mild) and once dipped in the Avocado Ranch was a combo better than D-Wade and LeBron. Next, the Free Chips and Salsa were great (download the app to get free chips and salsa everyone). Then, the service the service was incredible as they met my parties every need promptly ad they could and giving a new bag of chips to bring home as well. Every time I order to go from any Chilis, and the food is always consistently delicious! The Nashville, hot mozzarella sticks, the big mouth bites and the honey chipotle, chicken crispers, along with a chocolate molten lava cake is always my go to order! For about $31 this can feed two people or one very hungry person! And you can't forget to ask for a cup of ranch! Their ranch goes so well with everything and dipping your mozzarella sticks or chicken crispers in a cup of ranch, just hits different! I'm so glad they do that! When dining in, their skillet cookie is the best! I also love their southwest eggrolls and their burgers are pretty good! You really can't go wrong at Chili's! Haven't been here in a few years. The southwest egg rolls are always great and taste the way they did years ago. But we had a big disappointment with the chicken crispers that apparently changed last year and now taste completely different from the delicious ones that were fried in tempura batter. Haven't been to Chilis in ages and I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews both in Las Vegas and San Francisco Bay Area, but from our experience here the server and host were very nice and friendly. It's a nice family restaurant so we felt nice and comfy. The only negative thing was when going to women's restroom, the door was sticky when I pushed the door open! :-O Other than that the restroom was okay and mostly bright and clean. People seem to have late dinner around 7pm, I guess it's back to work after the new year holiday. If you sign up for the Chili's reward and get free chips and salsa apparently every time when you visit according to the ad on the machine attached to the table. All the food came out on time. I thought everyone's dishes were good. Salad was good as we split it among 3 people. It wasn't that busy In restaurant but as evening went on it looks like people like to eat late at 7pm. Of course one of highlights from those commercials in early 2000s with music group NSync singing Baby Back Ribs. LOL. Plus I just found Timmy's Takeout on YouTube and he loves the ribs too. If I could've given it a 0 star I would've. Arrived to a very chilly table at Chilis at 5:15 (had a text I received at the start of getting into the restaurant for reference). We then sat there till about 5:40, no water, watching staff walk past us never asking if we have been talked to. A waitress finally came by asked us if we'd been helped, we said no, she said she'd be right back then proceeded 5 minutes later to serve and take two other tables order never coming back to us. Our waiter was very friendly & gave a few tips on the menu which I appreciated. The meals were delicious & varied from a grilled cheese to chicken & waffles, to their Triple Dipper. Highly upsetting experience at the bar last night. Chili's is one of my go to restaurants, and I was visiting last night to honor the passing of my best friend by getting his favorite food and drink combo. Upon walking up the the bar the entire countertop was filthy, the bartender Chris cleared a spot but didn't actually wipe it down. He got our drink order and threw the straw to me. After we had been sitting for a while he finally asked if we needed menus and said he'd be right with us to get our order. He proceeded to carry on an almost 10 minute conversation with other bar guests and finally turned around and said he'd forgotten about us. I then watched him scoop crumbs and ice cubes directly into his bare hands to clean the bar top and I didn't see him wash his hands after he did that. He put my order in wrong so when he brought out the food for my friend he explained his mistake and then grabbed my shoulder and gave it a little shake. Nothing about my demeanor or body language should have suggested that it was okay to touch me and it made me highly uncomfortable. All around incredibly slow service, and I was honestly disgusted watching him put food scraps in his bare hand and then touch me shortly after. I was so disappointed because it was a special occasion and I always have such a positive experience at the bar at this chilis. I've never seen that bartender Chris before and I will never be sitting at the bar or even ordering drinks from the bar if he's the one behind that bar. I am also a bartender and have been for quite some time so I know how things should go, and it appeared that Chris had no idea what he was doing and I have no idea how he got behind that bar. read more
